I've been here a few times now and almost always end up having a different nail tech (their experience levels all vary). Overall it's a clean nail salon. Prices are alright - $35 for gel manicure. I do think that the quality of the end result varies depending on 1. the tech you end up with and 2. which brand of polish you pick from their color books. The first gel manicure lasted almost 4 weeks without any chipping. The second time I did a gel manicure (Honey Phan brand polish) and it lasted no more than 1 week without chipping and peeling - quite annoying when running my fingers through my hair. I just got my 3rd gel mani so will report back on how long it lasted. Good salon for when you're in a pinch but expect to wait. read more

This is the worst nail salon I have ever been to in the state of NJ. If I could give -2 stars, I would. First, they knocked over my coffee that I brought all over the floor, fine no big deal. Then they kept pushing for my mother to get gel after multiple times of saying no. On their board it says normal regular manicure is 25$. They charged my mother and I for a gel manicure for 35$. All I needed was to get a soak off and after an hour of chipping away at my nails and genuinely physically hurting my nails, I told them to stop. They stated to me "it's too thick", I said "I've been going to nail salons for over 10 years, I've never had this many issues". They used a tip from a previous nail set to pop off my nails and STILL couldn't get my nails fixed. I eventually told them I no longer wanted the service and this is how I walked out. Completely unprofessional in this establishment. There are plenty of other nail salons to go to. I'm just shocked at the level of awful service. When I confronted them that we didn't get a gel manicure they acted as if they had no idea what I meant. Please go elsewhere. read more

I got a chance to go back to my normal salon and I asked them to remove the gel tip manicure I got from this salon. When she started filing it down she could tell right away that they had used an ILLEGAL product on my nails. The liquid they used for the acrylic is called MMA (methyl methacrylate). This product is banned in 30 states in the US as well as in Canada and New Zealand. The tips started coming off my nails and when they did they took part of my nail with it. It caused my pinky nail to snap in half which caused pain and discomfort for several days. DO NOT COME HERE. DO NOT GET A GEL TIP MANICURE FROM HERE. I believe this salon is owned by vietnamese people since I recognize the dialect. I can't understand the language but i have a viet friend so know how their language sounds. I really wish I'd read the reviews before I wasted a bunch of time and money here. I got an acrylic fill and gel Mani/Pedi. The pedicure was fine, I think it was Ryan. Then they gave me to another older guy to do my nails. I chose a dark color but it came out very streaky and he didn't even polish to the sides of the nails so the sides were uneven and lumpy, the polish on some nails was lumpy on top, I finally gave up trying to get him to go my nails straight and even, and in under 10 days they were lifting and catching on things and the polish AND the acrylic were just coming off, even broke my nail underneath. I went back (silly me) to get them to fix this disaster and they tried to give me the same guy again. I don't think so. Some other guy half took off the polish that was already there, did nothing about the lifting, half-assed smoothed the broken corners and then proceeded to use THREE different dark colors just to cover up what he left on my nails from the first time. Awful, awful place. Not even very friendly, definitely not clean, terrible selection of gel colors (tons of dips though) and completely inept nail techs. I tried to do my own acrylic once. I did a better job than this. Avoid!! read more

I've been coming here for a while and noticed that things are not being cleaned or disinfected the way they were in the beginning. Someone dipped their feet in a pedicure water in the wrong chair to soak only for someone else to come in 3 minutes later and use the SAME water. The gel coat for my manicure has bubbles and honestly wasn't great. The prices also fluctuate. One week I was charged $45 for a gel manicure and regular pedicure only to be charged $50 the next time. Despite the bad reviews on yelp, i decided to give this place a shot since it's so close to home. I would give a 0 rating if I could. I've never had such a terrible gel manicure before. Instead of wrapping my nails in foil they had me soak in acetone then roughly file my old gels down. The guy barely filed my nails with old worn down nail files before starting on the manicure, which came out terrible. Did not cut down my cuticles. Once the gels were barely set, he goes to file my nails down which made things even worse. My nails are not smooth at the edges, instead they're rigid and uneven. Will never go back again. There was only 2 other customers in the salon at the same time as me and it still look about 20 minutes of waiting time. And then, despite the fact that nobody was even there, the gel manicure was very rushed. The guy didn't pick the skins in the cuticle, or push back the cuticle. It took not even 10 minutes, while every other place I've been to spends a lot more time on a gel manicure and costs the same price ($25). As you can see in the photo, (especially in the middle finger) the cuticle isn't pushed back and looks very unprofessional and the paint itself isn't smooth. This picture was taken like 5 minutes after my manicure, and the gaps on the bottom of the manicure make it look like it's been a week as if my nails grew out. Nice, new place. I tend to be very picky with the way my nails are done and have been traveling over an hour to get my nails done. This place is down the street from my house so I went to get waxing done. The first few times I only went for waxing. They were very polite, the store was pretty clean and the prices were reasonable. I decided to try them out for my nails. I'm glad I did. They took the time to do my nails the way I wanted them and did not get upset if I pointed something out to them (which is an issue with some shops). I think I am probably on my third or fourth gel manicure from there and I'm happy I made the switch. I typically go to Linda. I think her work is pretty good. They have great hours as well as they are open until 8pm most weekdays. read more

This was my first time back since Covid started and wow - this place has gone downhill. Everything is filthy - nothing is ever wiped down. Not customer chairs, employee chairs, plexi glass, cabinets, carts and bottles, ... everything has stains and crud. This place used to be immaculate! Also, they have plexi glass up to protect the technician from me breathing on them during a pedicure, but the pedicure chairs are only about one foot apart from each other so all of the customers are essentially sitting next to each other. Lastly - they have the plastic covers for the pedicure tubs - but at the end they just rip it and let my feet soak in the tub, anyway! What is that about?! Will not be back...ever. read more

The salon is new, clean and in a really great location. Monica the manager was away and I ended up with these very unprofessional Vietnamese guys named Tony and his side kick Eric. He did a sloppy job on my pedicure and rushed it in 10 minutes. When I complained how I didn't like it Tony and Eric got very nasty with me. That is not how you treat customers. Luckily, the owner had just come and I explained to him what had happen. The owner was very apologetic and had the assistant manager Ivan take care of the mani/pedi. Ivan was also apologetic especially since it took 3 hours of my precious time. I hope the owner replaces those two nasty guys and hires more people like Monica and Ivan who are about putting customers first. read more

The male at the front desk told me it would be $25 for acrylic regular nails and then changed to $30 for an almond shape. I said okay $30 is fine only $5 more. I just finished and he said it's $45 now because it's gel WHEN I specifically said no gel. I don't like the way gel looks and I'd rather not pay the price. He stated I can stay late and have them take it off and I needed to get somewhere so I said no. I've been going here for over a year because it's close to home and it's cheap for me because I usually only get gel color changes. I've had so-so experiences here, but again it's convenient, BUT this last Saturday took the cake and I'm done! I get there and asked if they had a specific chrome color. One of the guys who always wears a baseball cap and sits in the back, brings the little jar with the powder color to ask me if this is what I want and it spills all over me, including my Coach crossbody! They tried to save some of the powder from my purse and scoop it onto a sheet of paper. The guy tried to wipe my bag and sneakers and it didn't help much. At the end of the service I asked the lady if they were gonna give me a discount at least and she said, "It was accident, I give you $5 off." Wth?? I know accidents happen but you know I come here frequently and that's how you treat a regular customer?? My purse is literally messed up! I wish I knew her name, but it's not the one named Linda - it's the lady who sits in front of her. None of them are better than the other anyways. Shame on you!! They wanted to charge me 80 dollars for flowers on my nails and literally the man doing my nails was clearly upset I was indecisive on the design I wanted. He had done my acrylic application and shaped them and then passed me onto another lady. I then proceeded to just stick with one color the same as my toes and they got the wrong one and just for them to come out UGLY!!! My first time at this salon. I only needed a gel manicure and they were able to take me right away and the staff was friendly. I'm sorry I didn't get the name of the woman doing my nails, she was pleasant and seemed nice, there was a language barrier but not a problem. She did however cut my index finger badly at the cuticle. The bleeding never stopped though she did try several times. She was also rushed because the person who had the next appointment stood next to my chair and waited. Plenty of places for her to sit until I was finished but she rudely stood there sighing loudly and pouting. The staff should have asked her to wait up front but they did not. I got sent home with a still bleeding finger and after a bandaid ruined the polish on 1 of my other fingers.
