Wrong! Moni did not do a manicure- she basically filed my nails and nothing more. She told me she would have more time next time, which was sketchy since I did have an appointment. But I thought what da heck I'll give them another try in a few weeks. Well it hasn't even been one full week since I got the gel on my nails and it's chipped in several places already! I really was looking forward to getting my nails done here because of yelp. I saw so many good reviews and they also had good prices. On yelp it says "Walk-in's Welcome" so me and a friend decide to walk in to get our nails done. As soon as we walk in they ask if we made an appointment and we said no (mind you because it says walk ins welcome, I didn't make an appointment) and they told us we couldn't be seen.. They didn't even want to negotiate with us, didn't even tell us when we could possibly make an appointment today. They just told us "no sorry" so we walked out. How are you going to advertise that you welcome walk ins but when someone comes in to your shop you tell them they can't even be seen at all for the day? Very unprofessional. So do yourselves a favor and MAKE AN APPOINTMENT. Or else you will be like me and my friend that walk in eager and excited to get our nails done and get turned away within 10 seconds of walking in. read more

I went to New Nail for the first time to get a mani/pedi for my wedding. Tami did a great job on a gel application for my nails and Nina (?) was fantastic at the pedicure. It's been two weeks and both are STILL in great shape! I also have to recommend New Nail to all the TICKLISH PEOPLE out there - I am extremely ticklish and I hate getting pedicures because it's just painful. I don't know what Nina did, but this is the first pedicure I've had that didn't tickle! Both women were also pleasant to talk with, AND very efficient with the timing. I really dislike when I have to spend hours at the nail salon, but they had me in and out promptly. Overall it was a great first experience! There's a unique base coat that has green tint that might make regular nail polish look odd.
