I have one of my properties under their care since 2011 and I only have great things to say about them ( specially Jess ) she's always on top of any issues or situations that requires attention. If the tenants have any questions or issues she's always there to help, I as an owner barely ever get to deal with anything regarding the property. My friend and I moved into a property in Danville under New Way Management 3 1/2 years ago. Jess was a very responsive property manager when issues would come up. The townhome we were in had a lot of settling issues. Less than three years into us being here they started groundwork. In the middle of this the owner switched property management companies. Once the new Property Management company had payment set up they were non-responsive to every request we put in. We had drywall falling off the walls, my shower door got stuck and wouldn't open, my bathroom door wouldn't close, the door to the garage wouldn't close, pillars were detached from the porch roof, there were large cracks throughout the house, our slider would no longer close and left a big gap in the bottom corner. We tried calling, texting, emailing, and putting requests through the portal for Bella Vista property Management with no response. Sadly we are moving. If New Way Management were still the property management company I have no doubt that I would still be staying in this place. As an owner of a property in another state, I have experienced firsthand that Property Management companies can cost you more money if they are not on top of things that go wrong. If I had a rental property locally, I would definitely use New Way Management to manage my property. I know that Jess would not have allowed these issues to go on if she was still the property manager. I highly recommend her company to manage your property. And if you are a tenant, you will be taken care of. read more

New Way Management has been the property manager for where I rented a home for 12 years until recently buying my own home. Jess & Lani have always been responsive to maintenance requests & extremely professional & friendly. I would highly recommend renting a property that uses New Way Management. Your company is very unprofessional and as a consumer I expect more. I was still conversing with you when you began to rush me off the phone. Compounded with the difficulty of getting ahold of anyone in your office. I had enough. Being the customer I would expect my concerns to be heard and not hurried off the phone as you said "I have another call I need to take"which made me feel unimportant. I've never been treated so rude that I felt like I needed to terminate any further business involvement. Please know and understand for the record that you rushed and hung up on me your customer not the other way around. If you are smart you won't use this company. I called them for a week and they didn't return my call. My tenant called them for several weeks and the same thing happened. Emails always seemed to "disappear" until the termination of contract miraculously appeared 2 minutes after our last conversation. My advice, go with a larger more established company. I've rented in the Bay Area for almost 20 years. I've had more landlords than I can count and none of them have I thought twice about after moving. The exception to that is New Way Management. They remain the best property management company I have ever dealt with. They were ethical, they were friendly, and both Jess and Lani always went the extra mile in every arena. They recently parted ways with the person who owns the home I rent from (the homeowner was not as ethical or willing to maintain the home as he should have been). I still miss them and often consider just moving to one of the properties they still manage because they were just that good. It's not often you find people like Jess and Lani. There are so many times that they worked with me or on my behalf to make sure my home was maintained and the homeowner was following the laws. You just don't find ethical property managers like that anymore. If I had more time, I could list a multitude of times that they fought for my rights as a tenant. If you are lucky enough to have New Way Management as your property managers, know that you are in good, honest, and ethical hands. They are the real deal! read more

I am a Property Manager myself and a licensed agent so I kinda had a know it all attitude when it came to renting myself. I have to say that every experience I have had dealing with Jess and Lani has been a positive and fair one. As a home owner you couldn't put your property in better hands. As a renter myself again you couldn't be in better hands. They are by the book but the customer experience is a good one. My husband & I applied to rent one of their houses . We gave our application on a Thursday, we were told it would take up to 72 hours for an answer. They were friendly yes and that is why we wanted to do business with them. After 72 hours, we didn't hear a response, we called and called and they kept telling us they would get back to us .... well nothing ever happened. (So I do believe like the post below says that they wait for lots of applicants to apply to get more $) cause after a week , we were sooo tired of it and called them back to give us an answer that a YES or NO would do. Well they would send us to voicemail. So my husband emailed them very upset and how they were not being professional at all. They replied saying we got denied and would give us a call to explain why... it's been 2 weeks after and still nothing. So this is why I'm leaving this review to warn you all. We applied to another place and less than 24 hrs we got accepted, so the process doesn't take long, but this business does. read more

future renters beware. #1 they play the game of... we are goingi to take as many applications as we can and charge each person $30 and then we choose who we like best, therefor they are banking some cash (oh and they require "cash") for each listing. #2 after they take your cash for the "application fee" and you are the "chosen appplicant" they play games, asking for more rent or longer leases than when you initally gave them "cash". Where do I start?? Jess was referred to me by a co-worker, and my life is all the better for it. I am loving my new home. But it was definitely a journey getting to where I am. I had a budget, which limited my options. We looked for awhile, and Jess was always kind, informative and assisted me throughout the search. I looked at one condo, and decided to put an offer in, but called her 20 minutes later and said NO, I changed my mind. There were some things about the layout that I didn't like and buying a home isn't like buying a t-shirt, so I decided against that particular condo. So, TY Jess for putting up with my indecisiveness!!! When I finally found the one I liked, it was not a super smooth journey. Before we were under contract, a cash buyer came and snatched it from me, and I remember that phone call she made, I was in TEARS!!! That must have been a difficult call for her to make, but she handled it like a PRO. Less than 4 hours later, she called me and said the cash buyer opted out, and we were under contract. There are no words to describe the joy I felt, Jess was there for me every step of the way, and fought for me to get this condo. She explained every step of the process in language I could understand, but that didn't mean I never asked what may have seemed like stupid questions. I am SURE i repeated myself more than once about a variety of things. But after all, this was my first home. I have worked with Jessica and New Way Management Services for years now. As the owner of investment properties I recommend her to anyone who needs a full scale property manager in place. As you can read from the 1 star review, she takes her time to interview multiple prospects- unfortunately there are fee's associated with running credit, background and reference checks (I know, because I do it myself) and $30 is the standard fee. The way the market is these days you should expect to have 10-20 people competing over the same home if the price is right. When it comes down to it, if the landlords love her and the tenants have mixed opinions she is obviously remaining loyal to the home owner- after all, isn't that what you want in a professional management company? read more
