Whatever you do please please please do not go to this restaurant, I experienced a very racist experience this past summer...catching up on my draft reviews...this review is long overdue. The third experience left me in complete and utter disbelief. The woman at the front as I entered had a very bad attitude I've felt this energy from her before but yesterday it was magnified times ten. I usually love to give credit when it's due but this!!! The woman was on the phone cursing a customer out because they were asking questions. As she got off of the phone to lift her spirits I tried to compliment her and push away the negativity. She ignored me and I allowed her to cool off because everyone handles situations differently...I thought about the bad energy going into my food. I really tried my best to be nice but realized when you are in customer service you put the customer first no matter what situation you are going through yes we are all human but the way she spoke to the customer as well as me totally unacceptable. I wish I had the pictures still will update them soon. I dont usually give bad reviews because I believe in treating your neighbor as you want to be treated but I also believe in EXPOSURE....ill be the whistleblower to expose the mistreatment that I received as a paying customer this past summer. I never ever went back in and I hope the behavior will be corrected. Totally unacceptable especially to be at the front of house. Can't fail to mention when I asked for the manager she ignored me as well. Terrible in all aspects. You shall reap what you sow. read more

It is what it is. Because it was near where I was living I went down and ordered some take out fried chicken. Food was done quick I gave them that. Most of the food is very bland. They give you packets of plum and soy sauce, but those brands are so bad I can't even. All the signs in the establishment was upside down and faded. And I told the cashier, she said she didn't care and they don't need the signs. Why have them in he first place? I wish establishments like this could put a little more love and care. 3 stars for the quick and convenience. Food is meh. Place looks dirty. read more

I had been eating here for 20 years because it was the only local game in town. Recently, for the last 12 months they have gone downhill fast. The day crew never gets your order right, lies to you and when they can't get you're order right they claim no one in the place speaks English!! They recently doubled the price of chicken wings and give you chicken half the size! Rip-off! The girl on the night shift could give a shit. Very bad attitude lately. Because of their terrible service and attitude I tried island Garden up the street and wAs amazed! Less expensive, cleaner kitchen and better menu and food was delicious. The food is very good...that being said, the woman who handles the phone is unbelievably rude! I ordered 2 pork buns online for delivery as part of our meal and she called me to tell me that they only had 1 left. I didn't want anything else so she told me to call the delivery company to get my money back and wow, was she nasty. I had already paid by credit card so instead of giving me the $1.75 plus tax, she insisted I call Beyond Menu for a refund even though they were getting paid for the order. Been ordering from here for about 5 years now. Favorites include egg foo young (pork), beef and broccoli, lo mein. Rice is always good and fresh - egg rolls are ok too. All in all, perfect to go or delivery Chinese restaurant. Also recently tried the curry chicken. Very good - little bit spicy hot though. read more

One of the best local chinese restaurants I've been to. My usual meals: Sesame chicken: fantastic General Tso's Chicken/Shrimp: fantastic Fried Dumplings: some of the best I've ever tasted. Ruined dumplings from other restaurants for me Spicy Wonton: fantastic Chicken Egg Fu Yung: the gravy... man. so good. The Lo Mein is excellent. The fried chicken is excellent, but it has dipped in quality over the years. It tastes like they use less seasoning. The one thing I feel is subpar is their chicken/shrimp and broccoli. another thing is they need to start taking credit cards. but the food is excellent. Definitely make this your main chinese restaurant if you live in the area. read more

I am only giving it 4 but it really deserves a 4.5 I tried this place a few times and I have learned what to get, and not what to get @ New Wing Hing. Since then, I have been very pleased with this place. The fried rice and lo mein is excellent. I especially like the crispy sesame tofu dish. The vegetables are always fresh and of-course they still have the best crab rangoon I have ever had. Maybe one day I will try the other items I didn't originally like however I am really liking this place for basic vegetable dishes and good comfort food chinese. Ordered recently for the first time .. it was very good. Typical greasy food but good ! I ordered shrimp and pork low mein and house special fried rice no chicken and vegetable egg foo young! This is our staple Chinese take out place. Instead of normal take out restaurants that just cook a huge pot of soup and leave it on the stove for the whole day, they cook each batch of soup to order so it's fresh and awesome when you get it. They also give you ginormous amounts of noodles. Stick with lo mein or mei fun and the fried chicken wings are pretty good too read more

This place was pretty good, and actually has some of the best dumplings I've ever tasted. The other items are good too. They have pretty much everything you would expect to find. The quality has definitely gotten better, and I find myself coming here more and more. They also fill your order quickly which is definitely a plus. I live by the water, and so I am glad that this place delivers to my home without delivery charge. I love the egg foo young. If you order $35+, you will also get a free quart of lo mein. The only bad thing is that the lady on the phone doesn't speak English very well, and she often has the address wrong. read more

New Win Hing is the balls. Beef and broccoli, chicken and garlic sauce, sweet and sour chicken, fried chicken wings with garlic sauce and french fries, best on the island. The pork fried dumplings, are the best in the city. They say 30 minutes, they mean 15minutes. Its ridiculous, how good this place is. read more

i love new win hing , its chinese food made by koreans, they give out free sodas and fried rice, they will also make any of their dishes vegetarian and steamed and give you te sauces on the side, they are always prompt with delivering. the best chinese food! read more

I don't understand all the good reviews. This place was terrible. The General Tso's Chicken was fried decent enough, but the sauce was only passable. The fried wontons barely had any pork filling, and what was there was tasteless. The egg drop soup was gummy and came with a pre-packaged bits of... cardboard, I guess. (There's no excuse for this, by the way. Cut up some wontons and fry them.) And the pork fried rice was flavorless, which was probably for the best, given that what little flavor was there was pretty nasty. read more
