I've used this cleaning service on and off for years. All in all, they do a good job and I feel like the place is thoroughly dusted off and bathrooms/kitchens are cleaned. Their office scheduling service is dependable. I've been at home when they are cleaning so I know they are fairly attentive but results can vary if you are NOT at home with a bit of oversight. The cleaning women don't speak English so special instructions are hard to give if you don't speak Spanish. Their timeliness is dodgy. Their carpet cleaning services are basic vaccuming rather than deep cleaning and I know other cleaners can bring that service for regular house calls. Please don't use this company, or its related company, New World Services. New World CLEANING Services is owned by a husband, New World Services is owned by a wife. I started with New World Cleaning Services - the last straw was when I (1) walked into the power bathroom of my renovated home and saw toilet water from the toilet brush all over new wallpaper (what kind of person cares so very little about the quality of their work that they shake out a toilet brush all over a wallpapered wall?) and (2) despite having explained many, many times that bleach, ammonia and other harsh chemicals cannot be used on a marble tile floor because it is a natural stone, they had used something other than the gentle soap I gave them and stripped the finish off all of the tiles on our new marble floor (this was discovered late at night, getting ready for bed). I then started using New World Services but that was just as bad. Newly refinished hardwood floors have been scratched and the crew cracked and broke part of a very expensive imported chandelier and did not tell me - I was left to figure this out weeks later. If you are OK with a cleaning crew seriously damaging various parts of your home, and not telling you that they did it - leaving you to find it out - then by all means, hire them as either of these companies are for you. read more

New World Cleaning did an excellent job cleaning our townhouse. I never had a problem with the cleaning they performed and was often very impressed with small things they cleaned I would never have thought about. Taking only their cleaning into consideration, I would rate them 5 stars. However, they were careless regarding breaking things and they never brought anything to our attention that they had broken in the 3+ years they cleaned our place. (We were not usually at the house when they cleaned it.) We began to discover small broken items or chipped furniture, but it was days or weeks later when it was too late to address with them. We overlooked it at first because they did such a great job keeping the house clean, and for a fair price. However, one evening in November 2014 after they cleaned our house on a regularly-scheduled day, we discovered the automatic ventilation hood to our gas cooktop was broken and would no longer go up and down when the button was pushed. They had just cleaned the house that day. We called them immediately the next day to address it. We had a hard time reaching someone in charge that would provide any answers; the two people who regularly answer the phone when we called kept saying the boss would call us back but we never heard from them. Eventually, they told us they don't clean the hood so they could not have broken it, and would not take responsibility. We took them at their word and let it go, and paid to replace the entire ventilation hood system at our expense. Then on April 17, 2015 I was at home sick on their regularly-scheduled visit. I saw them cleaning the hood that they told us they never cleaned and therefore could not have broken. My husband called their office that day. He explained what happened and what I observed. They said they would look into it and call us back. The next day, my husband called them back. The person who answered the phone told my husband she checked with the team and they said that I could not have seen them clean the hood because I was downstairs the whole time (the kitchen is on the second floor). I was downstairs for the first part of their visit, until someone came downstairs to clean, which is when I went upstairs and observed them cleaning the hood on the second floor. We received the same "we'll call you back" every time we called over the next two weeks. On the day of their next regularly scheduled visit, April 30, 2015, my husband called and told them this was the last time he was calling about the issue and the next call would be from our lawyer. Only then did the boss return his call. They said they were not taking responsibility for fixing the vent and they would not clean our house anymore. My husband agreed; they absolutely would not clean our house again, and we have not heard from them since. The reason we hired a cleaning service that is bonded and insured was so if something major broke, they would take care of it. I understand that things get broken, but breaking something, not taking responsibility for it, and then lying about it is completely unacceptable. Though they did a great job cleaning for a fair price, I can't recommend a company I can't trust. read more

We have been utilizing New World Cleaning's services for about a year now. They cleaning team always shows up on time, are very friendly, and do an excellent job of putting our house back in order. Full house cleaned, from 1pm til 6pm, staff was terrific.

I would not recommend. The cleaning was fine, but had a pretty bad experience with the business side of the company. We were scheduled for a Monday morning cleaning in July. They were supposed to come between 10-11. That time came and went. I called them to see where they were and was informed that they had mistakenly sent a cleaning crew to the wrong house and that they would be over soon. One person shows up to take a look at the house which was empty ready for a move-out cleaning. She takes a look at the house and tells me she'll get someone over there in an hour. By 1 PM there was one girl trying to do a move out cleaning all by herself. My husband and I came and went several times and there was only ever one person that we saw cleaning the house. I got a call from the manager saying that they were finishing up around 8 PM. After that we didn't hear from them for two months. No invoice, no receipt nothing. When I finally got a receipt it's for about $50 more than we were quoted. After some back-and-forth on the phone we finally got them to reduce the price by $30, but they told us that was all they could do despite the fact that it was their mistake and that they were several hours late for the cleaning. read more

WOW the best cleaning service I have ever had done. My roommate and I gave these two ladies a TASK. With only two days before our move out inspection, we needed every type of cleaning imaginable, and Kalie and Ines surpassed our expectations. They were friendly and helpful the entire time, they bagged our clothes when the washing machine was full and organized our entire bedrooms. The accommodated to our pets and took our kitchen from a mold filled sink to a spotless dream. Shoes that were thrown in disarray are now neatly organized in the hall closet and a seemingly permanent stench is replaced with fresh air. We are 100% sure our apartment did not even look this good when we moved in! New World Cleaning service is very reliable. Even in the worst weather, they show up. There is never a dust puppy under anything! I am always amazed at what a thorough job they do. When there was time, they even washed my mildewed shower curtain. They are very honest and nothing ever goes out in the trash that shouldn't have. They also help with moving and heavy-duty floor waxing, etc. Great people. read more
