BLT
Elaine M.

Veggie scramble Healthy bagel BLT on multi grain I love a NY Bagel any day. I love this place, there is a nice assortment of bagels and other treats like cookies, muffins, croissants, and cragels(?) We were needing lunch so we ordered BLT on multi grain, veggie scramble without cheese on plain, and healthy egg on sesame. All 3 bagels were well stuffed. Delicious and easy to eat, wrapped in parchment. Definitely will be back when I'm in town and going to come here for breakfast!

Favorite spot to chill with great food at reasonable prices. The indoor is cozy enough to work from. There's an outside terrace to chill on when the weather is nice. Bagels are as close to traditional NYC bagels that I've found in the state. The salads, soups and cookies are all delicious as well! My go to is the half and half order. For less than $9 this is a deal for amazing food in a great spot!

The place isn't perfect, but it's definitely good! Our server was nice, and the food was quick to come out. The cheese on the bagel was a little cold, but this place has a great ambiance! I definitely recommend coming here!

"Not sliced" cinnamon cragel

The food here is great. I wish they'd put their cinnamon cragel on their app so I could earn rewards, but whatever. My only complaint is that there's a complete breakdown of communication between the register and the kitchen. I order a cinnamon cragel every week. And every time the person at the register asks, "would you like that sliced or anything?" and I say, "no, thank you." It doesn't come up with "sliced" or anything on the register screen. But 50% of the time I get a sliced cragel. Not the end of the world, but the bottom half is just a plain piece of bread because all the cinnamon sugar is on the top. I don't know how else to order the thing. I've answered their "do you want it sliced?" question with: "no," "no thank you," "no, NOT sliced or anything," and "no, just how it comes" to no avail. It's just frustrating because the food here is so good, I'll keep coming back, but I'm rarely leaving in a good mood.

As a lox connoisseur I'm very excited to have e this place in Tulsa. Goes to show how diverse Tulsa food is for a smaller city. Amazing decor and the place is huuuuuuge! Great place to work from or have a casual business meeting. Plenty of seating for large groups as well. Now onto the : The bagel itself was great, fresh and had that outside bite. I got a customized lox bagel with cucumbers for crunch, toasted on garlic with onion and chives. My only small complain was how little lox they put and if you've had a bagel on you already know how much lox they add. Either way it hits the spot and the place has an awesome atmosphere.

I love your staff. Don't get me wrong. You guys are very friendly very respectful. But when it comes to a New York style bagel, I'm from New York. I've been in Oklahoma for four years and I'm just tired of people saying New York style food when it taste nothing like New York style food. I gave this restaurant multiple chances to improve and the bagel still does not add up to a New York style bagel. Just my opinion on food that I actually love, but it just keeps missing the taste. The fact that a New York style bagel is toasted on the outside And soft in the middle, but it keeps missing that taste and the authentic New York style bagel.

This is such a wonderful place to grab a delicious bagel and sit around to just take it easy! I brought my book and my fiancé had some work to do, and so many people even on a Saturday morning were in here on their computers and with their families. There's a ton of seating, and the staff is super friendly. More than anything, the food is very reasonably priced and it's a great atmosphere!

Forget the bagel. This may sound like bad advice considering the name has "bagel" in it. For me, this cafe gets a 5 solely for the spinach salad which I can sum up in one word, AMAZING. The spinach salad has chicken, sliced green apples, strawberries, tomatoes, blue cheese, and candied pecans on a bed of spinach. Love everything about it, but if there's something I could change, it would be replacing the tomato dices with cherry tomatoes. The best feature of the salad is the raspberry vinaigrette dressing which tastes so good that I could just drink it. New York cafe is a nice decent size cafe, operating at full capacity during lunchtime. However, orders are processed quickly. If you're looking for some peace and quiet, you won't be able to find it here as it is really noisy during this time of the day. Just put on your headphones and enjoy the food.

Asiago Bagel , salsa cream cheese with egg and ham

Absolutely delicious. Great atmosphere, the restaurant is more contemporary look. I had gone 9 months ago and now the service was a lot better than the last time. Had Huevos Rancheros with Asiago Bagel ( the bagel has toasted cheese on top) cream cheese it looks like has salsa mixed to die for with ham . Then, had another one same thing but with Jalapeno Bagel with bacon and still put more salsa ,Lol.

One of our favorite Sunday after Church destinations. I ordered a 1/2 Chef salad. It was quite large and very fresh, very filling. It's a nice bright atmosphere with outside seating.

Always a great time at old school bagel! The workers are always nice and the restaurant is always clean.

Five Boroughs on an Asiago Bagel with Bacon

Great stop for a breakfast sandwich! First time trying the Five Boroughs sandwich. It has your choice of bagel, they suggest having it scooped (no extra charge on this sandwich,) chive and onion cream cheese, egg, cheddar, hashbrown, and choice of meat(the suggest bacon.) This is not a sandwich you want to grab on your way to work unless you have a bib and wet wipes! It's delicious but messy I have also tried the meat lovers bagel in the past in jalapeno cheddar bagel which is also one that stacks up. Try the jalapeno cheese sausage rolls, too, if they have any left when you visit.

Bagel was good. Took 15 minutes to get it, and the staff were incredibly unfriendly. 3 stars for nailing the New York experience.

I ordered the Hunter, which comes with Rabbi's Pastrami, Russian Dressing, Swiss Cheese, and Sauerkraut. Typically this comes on Rye bread, but they'd run out by the time I got there. The Housemade Club was a fine replacement though! This sandwich was so good. The sauerkraut was a 10/10 and the house cured pastrami was extremely flavorful and filling. The sandwich options come in both 6oz and 12oz. I personally think the 6oz was more than enough! Each order comes with a pickle and chips. I ate half of my sandwich right away (amazing) and then half a little later. The pastrami and saurkraut are so juicy that it did make an impact on the bottom piece of bread, BUT I still ate every bite and would still highly recommend. Just keep in mind that it is best when eating soon after you've gotten your food! Either way, you'll need some napkins close at hand.

Kinda hard being a first visit. Went for brunch with daughter. It is exactly as others (Yelp,…read moreGoogle) have reviewed. It is strictly serve yourself. For us it took a bit to get use to even in the smallish area. It's arranged in a sort of circle -- staff and food in the middle and you walk around it, getting drinks, napkins, silverware, etc. The staff seemed nice enough, opposing other reviews. They gave us menus that we took to a table to look over. It was quite small. I didn't see pastry offerings, but it was our first visit. I want to see signs -- What it is & how much$. I hate it when grocery stores can't get their signage in line with their pricing. Honestly, I don't recall which sandwiches we ordered but we both had their house cured meat. She liked it, I didn't care for it. To me it was like Sunday beef roast on a sandwich. The little shopping area is really cute. We didn't have time that day to poke around. I hope this helps you navigate your visit. It's always a good idea to know what you're getting into. We'll go back, with better knowledge.

So, the item I wanted sold out (of course) & I was told to come back the next day and it'll be available. It's off of their (seasonal) Summer Menu so I went ahead with another that was on it, a Cascara Energy drink. It's iced and it was super good. Hints of cherry in every sip. I got the Polish Sausage Roll to go with my drink. I grabbed some dijon mustard & went to work. I enjoyed it, there was a non-polish sausage one as well. They're a pretty good size. The server was super nice & friendly. Compared to other locations, this one had chia seed puddings. Different kinds that look good & all had fruit on top. I just might start visiting this one more often.
