This is one of those situations when I go to a place & don't order what they're known for. With this situation, I came for a smoothie & didn't have much of an appetite for a bagel (which I always enjoy from the Brookside location). Their Mixed Berry Fruit Smoothie was really good. You can choose from that, Strawberry + Banana , Mango Mania & Peach. I got the 12 oz & it did the job (you can also get it in a 16 oz). The smoothie had the perfect amount of sweetness. I didn't catch what all berries were involved, just know that it's good. For everyone else who was eating at the time, all of the bagels that came out looked extremely good to the point I almost ordered one without having much of said appetite! read more

The menu here is such a great price. You get really good food. The service was quick. The staff was friendly. I really enjoyed the bagel sandwiches here and I had the smoked salmon spread. As always they give you more than enough on your bagel and for less than five dollars this was an amazing meal. read more

Veggie scramble Healthy bagel BLT on multi grain I love a NY Bagel any day. I love this place, there is a nice assortment of bagels and other treats like cookies, muffins, croissants, and cragels(?) Typically, me and my family go to the other New York Bagel in Tulsa but we'll occasionally come to this one. This New York bagel is pretty good. For starters, their food is great. I love to get the pizza bagels here. Also, their cookies are really good. The service here for the most part is pretty good. The only problem is we always tell them just to heat up our bagels, not toast them. But, they always toast them. That's why we always go to the other NY bagel in Tulsa because they actually listen to us. The inside here is pretty clean. Good ambiance to it. Overall? Bagels are good. I got a breakfast bagel with ham, egg, cheese. I think McDonald's has better eggs on their sandwiches than here. Lots of space inside. So even if the parking lot looks full you will still likely find a place to sit. Especially if it's nice outside and you can enjoy the balcony. Service left much to be desired. Everyone I saw working here looks like they hate their job. Not one smile. The girl who took my order didn't even speak. Just stood there looking at me until I said "hi, how are you?" Favorite spot to chill with great food at reasonable prices. The indoor is cozy enough to work from. There's an outside terrace to chill on when the weather is nice. Bagels are as close to traditional NYC bagels that I've found in the state. The salads, soups and cookies are all delicious as well! My go to is the half and half order. As a lox connoisseur I'm very excited to have e this place in Tulsa. Goes to show how diverse Tulsa food is for a smaller city. Amazing decor and the place is huuuuuuge! Great place to work from or have a casual business meeting. Plenty of seating for large groups as well. Now onto the : The bagel itself was great, fresh and had that outside bite. I got a customized lox bagel with cucumbers for crunch, toasted on garlic with onion and chives. The food here is great. I wish they'd put their cinnamon cragel on their app so I could earn rewards, but whatever. My only complaint is that there's a complete breakdown of communication between the register and the kitchen. I order a cinnamon cragel every week. And every time the person at the register asks, "would you like that sliced or anything?" and I say, "no, thank you." It doesn't come up with "sliced" or anything on the register screen. But 50% of the time I get a sliced cragel. Not the end of the world, but the bottom half is just a plain piece of bread because all the cinnamon sugar is on the top. I don't know how else to order the thing. I've answered their "do you want it sliced?" question with: "no," "no thank you," "no, NOT sliced or anything," and "no, just how it comes" to no avail. Forget the bagel. This may sound like bad advice considering the name has "bagel" in it. For me, this cafe gets a 5 solely for the spinach salad which I can sum up in one word, AMAZING. The spinach salad has chicken, sliced green apples, strawberries, tomatoes, blue cheese, and candied pecans on a bed of spinach. Love everything about it, but if there's something I could change, it would be replacing the tomato dices with cherry tomatoes. The best feature of the salad is the raspberry vinaigrette dressing which tastes so good that I could just drink it. New York cafe is a nice decent size cafe, operating at full capacity during lunchtime. However, orders are processed quickly. If you're looking for some peace and quiet, you won't be able to find it here as it is really noisy during this time of the day. Just put on your headphones and enjoy the food. read more

Great stop for a breakfast sandwich! First time trying the Five Boroughs sandwich. It has your choice of bagel, they suggest having it scooped (no extra charge on this sandwich,) chive and onion cream cheese, egg, cheddar, hashbrown, and choice of meat(the suggest bacon.) This is not a sandwich you want to grab on your way to work unless you have a bib and wet wipes! It's delicious but messy I have also tried the meat lovers bagel in the past in jalapeno cheddar bagel which is also one that stacks up. Try the jalapeno cheese sausage rolls, too, if they have any left when you visit. read more

Ordered a Lox and cream cheese bagel with no tomatoes and a whole piece of Romaine lettuce. There were tomatoes on my sandwich and when I opened the wrapping the sandwich fell apart. Wow, has this place gone downhill! Did management change? Because it felt that way. They didn't even have their signature Old School Bagel/Cafe 7 basket liner papers... One thing that really gets under my skin in the service industry is when you are placing your order or checking out and the worker is too busy goofing off, laughing, not giving you their attention. They did just that this trip, and so I shouldn't be surprised that our orders came out wrong, missing food, giving us the wrong food, etc...and the place wasn't even busy. There were mabye 4 people eating here. Most people just looked like they were squatting for the free wi-fi and coffee refills. They were supposed to be open until 4 pm, but they pulled all of the bagels and basically started shutting down at 2pm. This was really interesting, because they were so busy doing closing procedures nobody bothered to clean the booths. I had to clean off my seat, and we passed up tables we wanted, because they were dirty. When my sad "veggie sunrise" came out, it was cold, missing avocado and just completely devoid of any flavor, pride, etc...I tracked down my missing avocado which ended up being very under ripe and tough. I tried dousing my sandwich with hot sauces to give it some sort of flavor, but even that wasn't helping. I really don't know what happened here, but if this had been my first experience I would never come back. It has been quite some time since we've been here, but they used to have great service, packed bagels with flavor that were served actually hot if you asked for it. It used to be clean and busy, all of the time, not just wi-fi users, actual customers. If it's still here in a few years we might try it again, but we definitely will avoid at all costs. I will leave you with this sad, parting thought...I would have rather had a McDonald's bagel than a bagel from this location. read more

Okay... Unfortunately this place didn't deliver today. I've actually had it maybe once or twice before and it wasn't bad? Not sure if they went downhill or what... So sad about it! I ordered the veggie bagel sandwich on an everything bagel. I ordered this exact same sandwich at Einsteins bagels and it was just better. Here the bagel was very tough (not like a good bagel chewyness like it should be) and the egg was a little off... They also got my order wrong and I had to switch around bagel halves with my friend who I ordered take out with. Just overall not the best. Came here for breakfast after driving by yesterday. Very cute on the outside and even nicer inside! There are so many things to choose from. We got a healthy start bagel on everything and meat lovers on Asiago. To drink I got an iced vanilla latte and he got a cafe mocha over ice. Ok, so i think the cookies are not as good as brookside. Muffins usually are, but the Chocolate muffin is the moistest and best tasting. Used to love the orange/ cranberry, but feel like it's a little dry these days (likewise the lemon poppyseed- no thanks). With those grievances aired ;-) the bagels are on point. Quick service bagel stop that's good for breakfast and lunch. Came here with my friend on a Sunday around noon. There was a small line but it moved quickly. We got our to-go, and they just call out your name from the left hand side counter. Otherwise they give you a number and they'll just find you wherever you're sitting. The wasabi bomb on the everything bagel (toasted of course) was the bomb. It came with lox, cucumber, red onion, and a very generous amount of cream cheese. I also got a small hot chocolate which was too milky for my taste, but was still warm and comforting. Really good thing to have for brunch or when you want a heavy meal. We are ours right before going on a hike on turkey mountain so we were energized for the hike (yay for carboloading!). read more

If you're craving a bagel I highly recommend this place! I was in the mood for a bagel and went by their drive through and it was all worth the wait.
