So I made the decision to start to look for another little sweetie to join our family and help bring my CoCo back to life. After searching and talking with so many breeders I found my sweet girl Sassy. Sassy is such a sweetheart and I felt she would be a perfect fit for our Family. So since I live in Maryland and and I personally don't believe in shipping a puppy, My Grandson & I went on a journey to New York to visit Emerald City Shih-Tzu's and a lady named Shelia. Shelia was very sweet and her puppies so well cared for. I fell in love with Sassy way before I ever got there however I also met another little tiny girl we named LuLu. Sassy and LuLu both came home with us and CoCo loves her little sisters and they love her. Prior to taking Sassy I explained to Shelia I just couldn't afford both girls even though I Truly wanted them both. Shelia was kind enough to cut me a I'm great deal and discounted the price so I could afford both my girls. When we were ready to leave and go home Shelia had Goody Bags waiting for both of the girls and has stayed in touch with me whenever I need to ask anything. We did a one hour trail ride. The trail was fun - not too challenging and we even got to stop by a beautiful creek so the horses could take a drink. It's absolutely magical & no better way to see the beauty of this region. Now the horses: They are all beautiful, very healthy and thus happy. The property is expansive and beautiful. Rolling Hills, gorgeous pastures, shady forest with rivers cutting through it. The horses are phenomenal! It's clear from the first moment that the animals are adored! Exceptionally well taken care of, pampered, and of course it reflects in their tempers! They love their humans and could not have been sweeter to us! Have you ever met a horse who's a hugger? I did today and his name is Sweet Tea! The check-in process was smooth and easy. Even the Gift Shop has some really cute and memorable selections, which is rare! We were a party of 6, 3 adults and 3 kids. Some experienced, some real novices. Our guides, Randall and Zoe were a pleasure from the beginning to end. Zoe - thank you for matching every rider to their horse thoughtfully and perfectly! This young lady must have a sixth sense about human/horse personalities because, as the absolutely delightful owner Erika was describing their wonderful horses, it was sometimes hard to keep track of whether she was talking about the horse or the rider . Randall and Zoe - our guides were respectful, patient, informative, fun, and engaging. They made this experience unforgettable for everyone in the group! She met our friendly dogs and agreed to watch them the following weekend after LD. She asked me to text my email address so she could bill me prior to coming. 5 days went by and I did not receive a bill in my email so I texted her figuring she had a busy LD weekend pet sitting and it slipped her mind. No response. Texted her later that evening - no response. Called the next morning and left a voice mail - no response. At this point, I had 1 day left before I had to leave for a 4 day trip and had to scramble to find another dog sitter. I never received a text/email/nor did she come to the house (I have Ring). I wish my experience was different, she seemed so pleasant.

She is insured and has the experience to deal with emergencies which made us comfortable leaving our elderly cat in her care. Overall a positive experience. We will use her again.
