Came here on a recommendation from my sister while home for Christmas break. Great selection of gel no chip colors. Lots of nail techs available/working. Very affordable prices- $15 for regular pedi and $23 for no chip. Pedicure spa add-ons are well worth it. I paid $35 for the lemon pedicure and got: mud mask on my legs, callus removal, 10 min massage, and hot stone massage. This pedicure was nearly an hour long and I appreciate that, especially because in this neighborhood there are tons of nail salons that quickly get you in/out for a pedicure in about half an hour which is not relaxing. XL is totally relaxing. I almost fell asleep several times during my services. Jenny was my nail tech and I loved her work. I'm only giving this 2 stars bc Ivy was super nice and i love how my nails came out even though I was rushed and i didn't get a mini massage. Cindy has a horrible attitude and was extremely rude and nasty to me when i asked if i was waiting for Ivy to do my nails, insisting that when I called I never specified tips ( which i did). If I could give zero stars I would. My elderly mother-in-law went to this establishment and has been for many years but this particular time her experience was horrible. She was treated with disrespect. It was so terrible that she had to get up and leave in the middle of being serviced. The type of disrespect she experienced was a vast difference to what she observed the staff to be doing onto their "other" customers. Hmmmm. Even if there is new staff, the service should be consistent, professional and free of bias. Hmmmm. I gave this business a chance by calling them directly, speaking in a calm collected voice but they responded with silence and no further inquiry to understand what they did. Take your business elsewhere ladies and gentlemen. My friends and I were looking for a new nail place to try. Someone had suggested XL so I thought it was worth giving it a shot. We got there a little after 5 and it was pretty busy which is usually a good sign. We had to wait a while because they had a few appointments a head of us. Once we were taken it was a nice experience. The whole process of getting the gel was about 30 mins. When a nail salon takes the extra time to do extra steps I really appreciate it. The manicurist was very nice along with the other women working there. It was $30 for the gel dip powder which is not bad compared to other places. I would definitely recommend this place but I would make an appointment first. read more

I love this nail place. I've been coming here for years but quality has really been slipping. The basic pedicures just haven't been very good lately. I leave the store with my feet not being as smooth and pampered. Still the paint job is always wonderful. However last time I went something completely unbelievable happened. I have never gotten a cuticle cut when I came to this place in the past but I had this lady that was incredibly rough with my nails! Even filing my nails hurt as she kept filing over my skin! I was in pain the whole time but didn't want to say anything as I've tolerated worse. Then she cut my cuticles super fast and careless and that hurt as well but I wasn't sure why it hurt so bad until I woke up the next morning and saw bloody scabs on the cuticles of not 1 but FIVE of my nails!! I will address this when I go back there the next time! It's insane! My cuticles were inflamed and burning for quite a few days after. The first time I've ever gotten a really bad egg. I do like this salon overall for walk ins. Not very good for designs! There was another time I asked them to do a simple ombré pattern on my nails and only one girl in the whole salon could do it. read more

I have been coming to this place for years because it was close to home. I just don't see the point anymore. They're only getting worse. The wait is always long, the acrylics are done by 2 workers only. My last set lasted me a week. I got them on March 4th and they were off a week later, one just flew off and the others followed. There was barely any glue on them to begin with. I had a feeling they'd pop off. I understand the prices for an acrylic set here are cheaper compared to most salons but it's not worth it. I will be trying other places. The hygiene has gone down as well. I feel like the tools are never clean and my last pedicure I got was from the summer which ended up giving me a bad infection under my foot that lasted for months which required surgery. I'm terrified of getting pedicures now anywhere, especially here. read more

Pros: Cindy is the best at doing SNS nails. Kay is a close second. My nails always last for weeks and look great. My high rating is for the SNS nails. The staff of amazing! Pricing is average. Cons: The pedicures are not the best and tend to not last as long as they should. Usually in two days the polish chips. I really like this place but I do wish they would invest in fixing up the salon. It is very run down and needs TLC. read more

Price is decent but you get what you pay for. I was very displeased with the polish job as I ended up with nail polish on my cuticles on multiple nails... my acrylic full set ended up taking over 2 hours because my nail lady kept stoping to charge other clients. This is really what frustrated me the most. The nail polish on the skin could have been easily over looked but to have the lady continually stop to attend other clients was very unprofessional when they had many other workers who could have been in charge of the register. love this place! They are so accommodating and friendly. I just went to get a pedicure and gel manicure and the girl did a gel manicure AS I got my pedicure. I meaaan... is that not amazing? It definitely chopped off an extra 30 min I would have spent getting the gel manicure after the pedicure. On top of that, they work with you for a design and to match nail colors. I would definitely recommend. I gave 4/5 stars because they do the pedicure with gloves on and I just don't like that; personally. Otherwise they are great!! read more

I wanted to give them a better rating, but I just couldn't. The good: I got a beautiful pedicure. They also put on my first set of powder dip nails and they came out beautiful. They lasted a full two weeks with no chipping. The bad: when i went back two weeks later to have the nails removed, they used the drill to file off all of the acrylic. I didn't realize until later that they are supposed to soak it off with acetone. I currently have dents and scratches in my nail bed and my natural nails are breaking, which they never do. I am disappointed, and cannot wait for the damage to grow out of my nails. Just beware of how they remove your powder dip manicure! read more

I asked for a color change on my toes bc my two big toes got messed up - so i asked for another French. They charged me 13 bucks for a COLOR change. It says 8 on the board so i assumed it would be a few dollars more but $5.00 when all you did was a color change is OUTRAGEOUS. this please is dirty, hot, the AC doesn't even work. Avoid if you are interested in keeping your nails healthy and strong They weaken your nail bed with filers so you have to keep following up! Their pricing is cheaper than most neighboring salons. However, their customer service leaves much to be desired. *Only go for a cheap set or a pedicure. Don't expect anything spectacular! They do not do designs! read more

Absolute worst nail salon in Deer Park. They rushed through my gel mani and would not fix the sloppy job they did, they said they would have to recharge me the full amount if I wanted it fixed. They lost 3 valuable customers because of they're manager Cindy who has a very nasty attitude and only cares about money. Never go to this place they're service is terrible. I used to get pedicures here all the time till I got an infection, I don't go for pedicures anymore.

I went here the other day and will never go back. First off it's not a nice place, very run down. Hand written sloppy signs with pricing, even the name tags on the workers had tape over a used ones with their names. Molding coming off the walls, uncomfortable old chairs at the pedicure station, that's what I went in for and honestly should have left. The people working there are extremely nice, the pedicure gets a 3 out of 10. I asked for a white french and the polish was yellowed and top coat had no shine so when I got home I had to redo the polish myself. read more

If I could give this place a zero star oh boy I would. This place got me highly annoyed along with the employees. I went in today asking for a gel polish pedicure. Which thank god they did something right. And I also asked for "DIP POWDER". I had a picture on my phone saved for what I wanted along with the shape. First off who in there right mind charges $10 to have coffin shaped?!? Explain. This is ridiculous. If I am paying for the née set it should be included. Number two, I told the lady who was doing my nails to make it even and she then cops an attitude with me. Like excuse me? She was rushing while doing my nails. She was also not gentle at all she butchered my cuticles. She then proceeded to ask me is this good with an attitude and when I would say no she proceeded to talk Chinese to the worker next to her. I'm sorry last time I checked if they want a good tip they better give me what I asked for. She pulls out a powder along with a liquid I told her I don't want acrylic and she goes it's not acrylic it's dip powder, and I went on and told her that's not dip powder. And the man came over I think his name was Michael and he goes thats dip powder. After she applied the "dip powder she told me to put my hand under the UV light? Like weird? I don't remember ever asking for this. At this point I knew that I was going to be paying a fortune. During this whole process I did not get the dip powder I got uv gel instead. Like I'm sorry if a customer asks for something you give them what they want.. I'm not gonna complain the nails came out okay.. not great. The lady was sooo rough and harsh on my nails. my sister has been going to this place for years and all she gets is a simple short square w/ regular polish.... the ONE time i went in there to get a full set the man doing my nails DID NOT know what he was doing he kept layering and layering acrylic on top of acrylic. when he was done piling acrylic onto my nails, there was a large space in between my cuticle and acrylic as if i ALREADY needed a fill in, so i had to point it out to him. and then. Cindy (who i assume is the manager/ owner) had to step in and buff them out herself, while the man was putting on my gel polish. which he continued to PILE on. I have been a customer of this nail salon for a a while its convenient to where I live...I do not do gel nails here because I find their products damage my nails so I usually do a mani and pedi. The girls who work here are ok the manager or owner is not friendly thats ok. What is not acceptable is when customers come in after I've been sitting in a chair waiting to have a manicure for 15 minutes and they take the three girls who walked in after me first when i questioned why havent I been taken care of their response was two of the girls had an appointment which I respect but they had no excuse why they took the 3rd girl before me..I got up and left and will not return to this location. I have been a customer for about 2 years but will not be returning to this nail salon. They constantly have new staff with the newer people not knowing what they are doing. The last time I was here for my regular gel mani and regular pedi I asked for the color match and the manager was arguing with me insisting they were the same color ( mind you my toes were bright orange and my fingers were coral). After that she told me to pick out the color on my own that matched instead of helping me, and gave an attitude when I asked for them to be redone. After being there for 3 hours and with 2 nail techs( who don't speak English) working on me since one didn't know how to do a gel mani I paid and tipped the lady who did my gel mani and redid my toes but the one who messed up my nails first had the nerve to tap me and ask for a tip. Don't get me wrong I do tip but if it takes you an hour and a half to do a regular pedicure which was mediocre and don't know if colors match I am not a happy customer and will give its credit where it's due. This place was my go to but after that experience I refuse to give them anymore of my money , although they have good prices I'd rather go to a place where my nails come out the way I want , after all you are paying for the service. read more
