The overall location decorations, specially in the outside, are nice and might raise expectations specially because its right in front of a nice hotel in the Dorado area. We were a group of seven and even though service was nice, they were a bit slow. But there is no rush and you want to have a nice chat with friends and family it does not matter. Time flies while you are having fun ! Use to say a friend of mine. My plate was the veal ribs and even though they were good it did not impressed me. The avocado with Tuna was excellent and the hamburger as well, I heard, did not got the chance for a bite. Mean (average) rating is three considering food quality, price, and service.

Lamb chops and parm Asapargus! Was delicious! The shrimp and Mushroom risotto not pictured because I ate it so fast!! The best!!

Cauliflower pumpkin soup, with the croquettes at top

4.5 stars for this upscale restaurant located right across from the Embassy Suites hotel. Attentive service, nice outside patio view, decent wine selection. We weren't famished, so we grazed from the appetizer menu mostly. I had the cauliflower pumpkin soup, with just the right balance of both vegetables. She had the tuna tartare, which was fresh and satisfying. The standout dish was the goat cheese croquettes with lavender and honey dip -- savory and decadent and definitely not on my low-carb diet. The chorizo and chimichurri lacked pizazz. But we both enjoyed the organic salad with balsamic, a refreshing European finale to our meal.

Food was pricey & Al la carte. Ate the Ceviche which did not taste well. Dorado Cesar Salad was acceptable. The Filet was terrible. Meat was tough & over cooked for everyone. Steak shown was supposed to be medium rare yet it was well done. Highly disappointed in the quality of the food. The server was kind. Overall I was say do not go to this restaurant as you will waste your money.

We had a pleasant experience here. The staff was very friendly and attentive (Luis did a great job!) The food was delicious - perfectly cooked steaks, and the truffle mac and cheese was delightful. Highly recommend if you are looking for a nice and delicious dinner in Dorado.

The restaurant is on the hotel grounds which make it convient. With that being said:.::: ordered the tuna tartar (ehhh), caprese salad (they didn't put balsamic vinegar), cream spinach (more water then cream) rib eye steak (too fatty) pink Salmon (dry) passion fruit mojito ( barely any liquor) margarita (too salty), waitress ( not all there) .... Total bill $155. I could have passed on this restaurant! Nothing overwhelming and overpriced . Also..... they don't know what steak sauce they is!

Perfect romantic setting. Previous reviews had me skeptical upon arrival... BUT they must not be able to afford!!! Steak, king crab legs, longest drink menu ever. Took my lady out to eat here for her birthday and haven't ate somewhere this nice since top of the hub in Boston.

We had a great experience! Everything was delicious and the service was excellent. We had the filet and the New York strip.

This is truly the worst steakhouse ever. The food quality is way below average. You can eat better at a Applebee's. Please save your money

We ordered appetizer , we had the croquettas de jamon (ham croquettes ) and popcorn shrimp in walnut spicy honey glazed lemon , absolutely 20/10 !!! And if anyone is worried about the item being spicy I don't believe it was but it had a little tiny aftertaste kick more on the peppery side but none the less delicious , for entrees my s/o had lamb chops in pumpkin puree and cherry aujus ,with a side of KGB Fried Rice and sweet playing and I Had the shrimp mofongo in garlic sauce with a Side of avocado , sooo let me give these two entrees there flowers Lamb Chops Cooked medium well - Perfectly cooked to expectation juicy ,tender and the fat rendered making it incredibly flavorful rich and savory The pumpkin puree and pumpkin pave & cherry ajus took this meal to the moon way way way beyond expectation it added a the pumpkin was sweet and smooth that paired so well with the meat and the cherry ajus just bright everything together in a beautiful unified marriage of flavor every bite was the perfect bite and complimented it so well my s/o and I couldn't stop rolling and closing our eyes per bite no exaggeration! Easily the best lamb dish I have tried in an extremely long time !!! Mofongo de camarones By FAR THE BEST MOFONGO i had in PUERTO RICO and I had quite a few throughout the years and on this trip so I could compare !!!! Everything about this dish was perfect and I know speaking about a Mofongo in this light is SERIOUS !!!! The shrimp was cooked exactly how it should be cooked tender and juicy .... Please have no fear of overcooked dry shrimp bc from KGB that is NOT happening they are serving nothing but excellence !! The garlic sauce surprised me because it wasn't thick like a gravy or creamy where cream was added like I have normally experienced when ordering in other places ; it was more of a light garlic sauce flavor that soaked beautifully int the Mofongo without over powering it, Then I discovered onions in the sauce which made it even better bc I love onions in a meal then requesting avocado as a side to my meal was the perfect pairing , it added that fresh , and creamy element that connected the whole bite together and balanced all the rich and garlic flavors with the shrimp , it just WORKED !!like I mentioned after trying so many Mofongos and bifongos around PR , this exceeded my expectations 10/10 best one I had in my life Finished our meal w a nice double espresso each We left feeling completely satisfied and full but not with that heavy , uncomfortable feeling you often get after eating a super rich meal . Everything was well balanced from the start to the end . Amazing food, Excellent service, & beautiful ambiance and made it such a wonderful experience It was a dining experience to remember ! Worth every twist and turn we made to end up there

The margaritas were amazing. For appetizers we had the dumplings and boy where they great. But the best appetizer was the calamari in sweet Thai chili sauce Trust me. You'll want to have 2 orders. However. The star of the night was the Lamb Chops. Made to perfection on a bed of sweet potato purée. So even though there was a blackout , for which their generator kicked in immediately, it didn't take away from the wonderful experience . Surely next time I stay at Dorado I'll definitely be back.

I liked the jovial yet professional service but the food is what made it great. Started with a tuna tartare daily special recommended by the waiter, it was great. Many layers of flavors and the tuna and avocado was fantastic. I then had the ribeye (the smaller one, at only 20 oz :-)) and it was one of the best steaks I've ever had. For those who haven't seen my other reviews, I've been to hundreds of the best steakhouses, from NY to Chicago to Las Vegas to London, and while this wasn't a steakhouse it was fantastic. A nice think ribeye, perfect marbling but they also got the medium rare exactly as it should be, with an incredible char on the outside. I would fly back to Puerto Rico just to have this steak again. I also liked the crispy brussel sprouts and the asparagus were excellent, larger portion than you get elsewhere and nice thick asparagus. Finished with the I think 7 layer coconut cake, which I thought was the nicest dessert (split it with my wife's key lime pie, also good, and daughter's carrot cake donuts). Can't wait to go again.

Started with the butternut squash soup with coconut emulsion that was so good. The bread basket includes 3 types of breads and butters. You will want to eat it all but have to save room. We moved on to the king crab - perfectly cracked and flavorful w/their own house made sauces. It was the best crab I've had outside of Alaska and we live in Seattle where it's plentiful. Next we had the halibut with an amazing crust of hazelnuts and truffles. It may have been even better than the crab, but it was close. The fish came with a taro mash with truffle - and we didn't realize that so we also ordered the potatoes with Burrata and truffle. You can't have enough truffle. Finished with cappuccinos and molten cake. Really excellent experience all around. Don't miss it if you are in the area. I want to go back and try more on the menu. It was that good.

Well, the person who answered didn't provide me with a time or anything after I provided my phone number twice, as if I'm supposed to stand outside the gate from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM waiting for a text message with a code for the gate guard. Well, I never received a text from COA, and when i tried to call back twice after waiting fifteen minutes, nobody answered. I suspect the person was avoiding answering because of the caller ID. Needless fo say, I returned to San Juan and told my team that we'd postpone our dinner meeting until I found somewhere else to eat and discuss business plans. Again, i get the feeling that Deaf people here in Puerto Rico are treated like we don't exist or that we're an inconvenience--second-class citizens, as if my money isn't good enough. As if we do good enough to afford McDonald's, it's an attitude that I've encountered in other parts of the world: India, Brazil, Thailand, to name a few, where accessibility doesnt exist, and Deaf people and people with disabilities are given low expectations. Again, as if hearing and intelligence are linked, which they are not. Since I'm Deaf I must have a low wage job.
