Asked for the Ultimate package for my Jeep Gladiator to include interior, exterior and rubber mats. I asked for them to remove my antenna. As my car exited the line for drying, there was excessive soap on the rear tailgate. The soap was wiped off leaving soap streaks. The antenna was not connected until I stopped the attendant and asked for it to be done. The rubber mats were not installed back, but just placed in, and still very wet. For over $30 I would have hoped for some care and desire to do a good job. First and last time for me! Disappointing and frustrating to experience. read more

I am a monthly exterior customer and showed up on a Friday to get my car cleaned. The line was out to the road and after some time discovered that a car was parked blocking the access to the exterior entrance. I was made to wait over 15 minutes as I inched up in the full detail line and once I cleared the car that was parked, made my way into the exterior wash line that had no one in it. I complained to the manager who said it was a rent a car and they had nowhere else to park it. I asked if they were a car wash or rental car agency and to my amazement, he said both. Sorry but I can't help you. This place has gone downhill quickly and while it is a thriving business they are just trying to do too much in a cramped space. They will not be getting any additional business from me after being treated with a poor and lackluster response and if you don't like it leave attitude. read more

I have come to this location many times as I like that they have different interior/exterior packages to choose from. I was disappointed on my last visit because I had bird droppings at the top of my windshield and on the roof of my car and when the car came out of the wash they were still on there. Admittedly I didn't watch when the car was first going into to the car wash but it doesn't appear that they have any kind of brush or apparatus to try to scrub off stubborn stuff that is stuck on like some other car washes. I was also a bit frustrated because I had paid for one of the top packages and had thought that they would take a little more time with my interior seeing I had dirt on my dashboard which was still there after my car wash. Windows was not cleaned properly, dust and dirt left on dashboard, arm rest as well as the cupholders. I approached the workers and he is going to tell me thats glue. First of all i knew it wasnt glue cause my 4 year old fingerprints was all over the window. They take care of their own people cars. A black female Soldier by herself they just brush off. I literally wastched them spray a car down and scrub the inside of a car. When my car came out approximately 3 people went to it and barely did anything. They barely wiped down the back windows. Have taken both my cars to this location for oil changes for years, I'm also on their Car Wash Monthly Program. I own a KIA and needed to take it to the KIA dealership for a recall item. While there I asked them to change the oil because it was due and I was already there. When they attempted to take the oil plug out, they noticed resistance and saw that the plug was a non-OEM plug that had been cross-threaded. Now keep in mind, Newburgh Auto Spa is the ONLY place that has ever changed my oil. Because of the cross-threaded plug, the dealership needed to replace my oil pan and they documented the issue and provided me with the old pan & plug. The cost was $547.66 - knowing that the Newburgh Auto Spa was responsible for cross threading the plug by using a different plug than the OEM, I completed an "Incident Report" and provided the documentation and the old part to the General Manager (Brian Handley - at least that's the name he gave me). He refused to compensate me at any level and said KIA sold me a part I didn't need. When I asked to speak to the "Owner" he threatened to call the police on me and proceeded to tell me to get off their property and that he was canceling my car wash membership to boot (there were several employees around as I spoke to Brian and they can attest to his unprofessionalism). This all happened because a customer had an incident, completed their required paperwork and asked for some type of reimbursement. I never had any other issues at this business, but the manner in which I was treated by the General Manager certainly left me with the impression that they really don't care for their customers. I find that odd, because businesses like this are built upon repeat business and taking care of the customers that allow it to thrive. Brian tells me there is a new owner and that Chad doesn't own the business any longer. Whomever own this business, I would request that you contact me. My Car Wash membership is with a Jeep Gladiator - I'm sure you can look that up. Now Brian also told me that he would cancel my membership if I gave the business a bad review because in his words "that's what we do to those that give us a bad review". We'll see ....I only posted this so that I could get a response from the owner because Brian absolutely refused to provide me a name and number, also not good business. Annual Car Wash Program and oil changes for 2 cars probably has me spending close to $1500 annually - is it worth a call? read more

Not happy at all. I just spent $30 on the showroom finish. The inside of my car is still filthy. Cup holders are full of dirt, floor is hardly vacuumed, door jams aren't cleaned at all, it's horrible. The showroom finish is supposed to come with shampooing floor mats which wasn't done. I have leather seats that are still full of crumbs. I am just so unhappy. I am not one to usually complain but if you're paying for a "showroom finish" and the inside of the car is still filthy that makes no sense. Signed up for a monthly wash, took the $ 75.00 out of my account. Go to get a wash and tell me it's under a different vehicle, I don't even own that vehicle anymore! GM very nice and supposably fixed the problem and applied the right vehicle to my account. I go for a car wash today and the worker tells me I have no account! I go get the GM who says he fixed it and doesn't understand the problem, well if he don't know who does!! I demanded a full refund and will never return there. I hate to do this but I have to. This is for all the decent people who work hard for their hard earned money. For all the hardworking ladies that nasty men take advantage of and treat like we're stupid. I've come here a few times before but never have I seen such atrocious service or business. There service was never great, but the location was convenient. And I always like to give people and businesses the benefit of the doubt, however, things like this make me doubt that I should. Some people are so wicked. I decided to come here yesterday for a car wash. Line was super long and I had things to do, but I waited. I bought the exterior & interior ultimate wash. Never again. Now to summarize the horrendous service: 1) For whatever reason they let some people skip us (me and my elderly mother) in line once we pulled up to the front. 2) While we were there, an elderly woman's car was hit by another vehicle while being placed on the conveyor track. She told the manager and his response was "we don't hit cars". Unbelievable. There was a scratch on her car. Another car was also damaged. When she replied that she saw it happen right through the glass windows of the car wash, they said they would check the cameras. Meanwhile the owner was doing everything to avoid talking to her, and gave her the runaround. Not sure what the outcome was, but a business owner should always be prepared to take responsibility for their business: their employees, work, and customer service. You need to be responsible for everything that happens under your watch, and it is not a responsibility to be taken lightly. A business is not a small thing. Also, mistakes are inevitable-- humans are not perfect. But at least own up to your mistakes and be apologetic. At this point I start recording to make sure if anything happens to our vehicle, it will all be caught on camera. 3) Our car was not properly placed on the conveyor track. One of the workers kept pushing our SUV with his body and feet, to push it into alignment. Our rims looked like they were going to be damaged by the way they mounted the car onto the conveyor. At this point, we're preparing for the worst. 4) A car is then placed behind our car on the conveyor track but very hastily, that it looked like it was going to hit our car. Again, I was recording and prepared for the worst. Other customers around me were watching their cars too after the other ladies mishap. Thankfully nothing happened to our car. 5) After I pay and go to the front, and they "wipe it down", we inspect the car to see if it was clean. The inside was dusty and dirty. They left dirty fingerprints in our car. And when my mother pointed it out, I got the most jaw dropping reply-- they told us the service we paid for did not cover "that". Those fingerprints were never there, nobody even sits in the back of our car. We do not have children. The back of the car was clean. Whoever touched the dirty mats when they were taking them out, touched the inside of our doors with their fingers, and didn't wipe it down. 6) When we bought our car, it was not as dusty as when it came out. The passenger sides leather seat was covered in dust. Where did all this dust come from? They literally use one rag to wipe down one persons dirty seats, and then they take the same rag and go over your seats with it. 7) Pointed this all out to the manager and he refused to clean what they dirtied. Said I didn't pay for this, but my car was never this dirty to begin with. And I did pay for both an exterior and interior wash. I literally was a repeat customer and just spent $60 at their business. All it would take was 30 seconds to wipe the fingerprints off with some clean water. Then when I told them I was going to leave a review of their horrible service, he walked away like an angry child and came back with a nasty old rag to wipe it down, begrudgingly, and called me rude on top of it. Didn't even have the decency to apologize. Now I'm starting to understand why some people say they won't take you serious unless you're a bi*€£. If you speak up or not, they're going to call you one anyway. Especially if you're a woman and speak up for yourself. What a bunch of thieves. Next time I'll get a cheap $10 wash, and get a better job done myself. read more

I pay for the "showroom finish" which is the top package you can get for $33. Yet this place does a half ass job that it's a rip off. They barely vacuum the interior to the point that it's obvious that they do a 2 second swipe and that's it. The. When it comes to the other sure you get your car back dripping in water and soap, seats aren't back in there position, floor mats are soaked and just thrown in the car. Dashboard not even touched. $7000 to have a new engine installed after having a simple oil change here. Owner says he will not take responsibility for his technician. So with the technician being more concerned with selling me air filters then making sure the drain plug was tightened I would not recommend anyone coming here for an oil change. read more

Honestly, the $10-15 isn't worth my time to drive over to your shop and go through all of this. It was clearly an issue with your app not being accurate to what you were charging in store. However when I brought that to your attention, you didn't want to acknowledge the mistake and make it right then and there on the spot. I appreciate you're response, after I put out reviews on social media, Yelp and Google. My issue is more about the way you treated me in person, after showing you the obvious price issue. Even the customer behind me told me you were way out of line. Unfortunately the services were already done on our vehicles, so you won. By the way, your app always sends updates to people to save 10% for certain days of the week. So there seems to be a clear neglect for customers, and what they pay. So telling people about this is worth way more than the $10-20 that you overcharged me. read more

Purchased the Local Flavor.com "complete" detailing coupon for $94.99 (regular price "189.99). Made appointment, dropped off car, then received call apx. 4 hours later, "car ready for pick up". When I arrived, was informed that "because your car is considered an SUV (Subaru Outback), the additional charge is $30.00 (difference); since an SUV detail is $209.99. Also, tax not included so that was calculated on the "total" charge. Ended up paying an additional $48.00. Talk about blindsided. Then the girl asked "didn't anyone call you about the additional charge"? I said, NO, only the person telling me car was ready. Then for good measure, this girl said that front passenger seat and back middle seat were stained and needed extra cleaning. I reminded this girl my car is 11 years old, I transport grandchildren, hence stained seats. Just be warned when something is too good to be true (the price), it never is. Car looks good, but not worth the dishonesty of scalping extra dollars without any notice. IF someone had called to inform me of these additional charges; I'd understand. I've always gotten great service here whether it be oil changes, brake replacement or other service. On my most recent visit, last week, the left headlamp on my Mini Cooper wasn't working. I already determined that the problem wasn't the bulb. They thoroughly checked the fuses and found that they were all good. Upon further inspection, they determined that I had a bad connector. They ordered a new one on the spot. Apparently, someone went to pick it up because they had it a few minutes later. They quickly replaced it and now the headlamp works fine. The entire service, which included a free car wash (I upgraded to include interior) was professionally done. read more

We popped into Newburgh Auto Spa after a long day touring Storm King Art Center. We were tired and had just stuffed our faces with delicious Mexican food, so needless to say, we were in a hurry. However, the folks at Newburgh took really good care of us. We started by choosing which wash. There were a TON of options...which was good because our friend wanted something in between "really good" and "really cheap". We drove up to the spot they asked us to, and then we got out. They took it from there. We got to watch from those really cool glass windows while our friend's car was washed from top to bottom by their intricately designed systems. It was fun! And there was free coffee and tea in the little lounge area (if you were getting something that took longer done). When we finished, they had touched up the interior, washed, waxed, and dried the car, and we were on our way in less than 15 minutes. His workers saw the damage, and never mentioned it to me. I noticed it when i got home, and now it's been over 3 weeks and I'm still waiting to get it fixed. Shady business practices!...gifted full service detail certificate via local flavor. Gift recipient called to schedule appointment and was told since you have SUV it would be additional charge of $20. Upon the arrival of the scheduled detail, gift recipient was told by a different person it would be an additional charge of $40 and that the local flavor coupon only covered a portion of the detail however the certificate reads for complete interior and exterior detail. Manager came over after waiting 15 minutes and he said it would be $60 due to the size of the vehicle which is a cross over type vehicle . He was extremely rude and was speaking in circles and claimed that nobody over the phone would give prices which obviously is not the case. He then got extremely flustered when he couldn't explain the up charges and certificate at which point he handed back the certificate and said we aren't gonna do your car now and you can dispute the charge with local flavor and walked away. About an hour later a woman called and asked if the gift recipient was coming in for the scheduled detail. Obviously no communication. The very fist time I went there, I waited an hour and a half for an oil change when there was only One other person in the place. The second time I went there THE OWNER hooked my car up for a wash, completely screws it up, the truck in front if my car goes off the rail, crushing my grill. The owner replaced the grill but offered no compensation whatsoever. Please keep in mind that when I go here I am always on my way out of town on one of my excursions... next time, they come Out with a cabin filter and tell me it needs to be changed, it does because I've never done it before. THERE IS NOT A SINGLE OTHER PATRON IN THE ENTIRE ESTABLISHMENT!!! He waits an hour and finally goes up to the receptionist to ask what's going on... She says he's done and he can pay... he pays and goes outside waiting for them to bring the car around... half an hour goes by and stil no car! Winds up they didn't have the filter needed. Instead of one of the two mechanics running to autozone, the lazy mechanics order it and wait, never telling Bill they were waiting for the part to be delivered! After almost another hour the job is finally done, still no apology or compensation. I call the place, explain to the girl on the phone that I want to speak to the owner and I explain why, I tell her if I didn't hear from him, I'm going all over social media. So was my car clean.. yeah I guess so...but it took 8 HOURS!! When we booked the appointment they said 4-5 hours. Don't take our appointment if you can't fulfill it in a timely manor. Also.. the biggest thing was that I couldn't even drive it home afterwards. The stuff they put on the inside to make it shiny was so thick and wet that it would have ruined my clothes. I frequent this place often. Normally I would give it 3 * for the car washes that they provide because the car is often are not cleaned inside based upon what you pay for. Nevertheless I was planning on going out of town today and want my car detailed. I took my car to Newburgh Auto Spa today and the gentleman driving my car off blew his nasty nose into the towel he was using to dry my car then proceeded to wipe down my seats with the same nasty towel he just blew his nose into. Can you imagine? You go there and spend $69 for Express detail and this jerk who does not even speak English blows his nasty nose into the towel that he is wiping down my seats and car with. I immediately brought this issue to the attention of the young lady working at the front desk. She walked back and ask the supervisor to speak to the gentleman in his native language. They both apologized and proceeded as if it was a minor issue. Not satisfied with the action or lack thereof taken I asked to speak to the owner who was a very nice gentleman. Upon explaining the situation to the owner he removed the employee from the detail area to the basic Car Wash area. However I was extremely satisfied that he offered me a simple apology and proceeded about his business. To be honest he did wax my SUV for free but that is not what I was looking for or I could have paid for it myself. It is totally disgusting for this employee to blow his nose into the same towels that they are wiping down our cars with. Not only did he wipe down the outside he use the same towel to wipe down my leather seats.
