It's a good atmosphere with large dining rooms and plenty to sit. I like their salads. They give you a good portion of what you pay for. Everything tasted fresh. Sometimes I get their pizzas, which are NY style. Tastes pretty good, made from fresh ingredients too. Their cashiers are pretty nice. They give me tips on what's good and what's "great". Have to say I like this place for the most part. The food is pretty good other than one time I got the salad with the "steak" on it. Not good at all. Chicken salad sandwiches, or the Southern Salad are my personal recommendations. I will have to try other items at some point. My most recent visit was a bit irritating though. The menu being on the side where people are crowded inside the door needs to be "NUKED". Put the menus behind the cashiers please, so people are facing forward and the lines moving. The cashier was new, so I have to cut her some slack. The order was delivered to our table as a "To Go" order. So I had to eat my Southern Salad out of the plastic container rather than asking for one of those really nice bowls they usually have. Fortunately the food was really good for both of us, and I want to come back and try more items at some point. My biggest issue there is the way food is delivered from the kitchen to a large tray that is sitting right next to the Takeout Register. I watched food sitting there with no server picking up in a timely manner. I watched people in the Takeout line standing closer to the food than I would want a stranger standing hear. I watched two Red Bull promo girls come in to put Red Bull right there where food would come out on to that tray. Now if I had sat somewhere else, I would have never known all this. Personally I think they need a different system, but maybe other people don't get bothered by strangers being too close to food. JMHO. Regardless, I will be back on occasion when the mood strikes. Just not as a regular because these minor details do detract. read more

I loved eating here at Newk's! My favorite vegetarian sandwich to get from them is the farmers market sandwich, it is definitely filling. This sandwich is unique because it isn't just lettuce and tomatoes but there is grilled zucchini, squash and onions on this sandwich. Not impressed. Waited over 20 minutes for mediocre food. Iced tea was watery. Had half farmers market sandwich and cup of tomato basil soup. Soup was too thick snd bland- much better tomato basil soup at La Madeline, or even Wolfgang Puck in a can. Sandwich ingredients tasty, but bread is so thick cannot eat as a sandwich. Our visit to this restaurant was just okay. Upon entering, loved the space. It was very open, airy and much larger than we expected based on how it appears from the outside. It didn't feel like we were sitting on top of or too close to others in the restaurant. Love that the outdoor seating has fans and is covered from the elements. Very nice touch! Now....for the food. I chose a pairing of Caesar salad and the turkey breast sandwich. The salad was underwhelming with a slightly watery dressing. The sandwich was good with a nice flavor and it was toasted, which was a nice touch. My bread was a little too toasted, but nothing that made it inedible. My husband got the pepperoni pizza. He said the flavor overall was good and he could tell the pepperoni wasn't the average pepperoni, but the portion size based on price just wasn't worth it. My daughter got the kids cheese pizza and she also stated it was much smaller than she expected. The sweet tea was everything but sweet, but the drink area was well maintained and clean like the rest of the restaurant. We discussed if we would ever come back and perhaps we would for just a sandwich, but it wouldn't be our first choice. read more

My family of 4 ate dinner here and really enjoyed everything! I had the Newk's club with a side of pasta salad and brought half my sandwich home. My husband had the 5 cheese pizza without the goat cheese and he really enjoyed it. We were very pleased with the staff here. Newk's has a cool condiment bar with everything from pickles to roasted garlic and jalapeños. The atmosphere is modern and clean. The bathrooms were clean. I like that the kitchen is open. The only complaint I have is the order area. This is a new restaurant to our area so most people need to really read the menu, which is up on the wall in front of the order counter. It was a bit chaotic. read more

Decent spot. I got the chicken salad sandwich once which was ok but the Italian sandwich was pretty good. Definitely a nice lunch spot.

I gave it 5 stars because nowhere, and I mean NOWHERE else can I get the level of taste and quality and satisfaction I get from their Salmon Cesar Salad. It's AMAZING not to mention it's two servings per order. I have also tried the "Reese's" type rice crispy treats and O.M.G.... sooooo good. They are also available on Uber Eats and DoorDash and a lower delivery rate so that's always a plus. I think next time I will try something different, my co worker enjoys their pizza so I may venture out and order that. read more

New place in Kennesaw that has a variety of soups, salads, sandwiches and pizza. The atmosphere is really upto date, with great tasting food. A new favorite lunch spot. So my husband and I were lookimg for a new place to eat after church, where we could be away from the football crowd. So this was our first time here. I eat out about 5 times per week. I am always looking for a good place to dine. Staff is friendly, waiting time is above average, food quality is above average and price is good. Great food and fast service. First time I have tried Newk's and was pleased! It's comparable to Panera but might be a step up, although I still love me some Panera. I had the turkey sandwich and a bowl of chili. Sandwich was awesome and loved the multigrain bread it came on. The chili was good but could have been a little more hearty. Will be back! read more

Newk's over Panera. Food is consistently fresh, sandwiches are dressed with an appropriate amount of condiments, not drowning in mayo or mustard. Salad dressing comes on the side without having to ask for it. Both the bleu cheese and lemon basil dressings are amazing. I love their condiment bar where you can pick up breadsticks, crackers, extra cheese, capers, roasted garlic, peppers and a few other things to go with your meal. I used Newk's catering for a work event and the boxed lunches are a phenomenal deal. Highly recommend Newk's if you are in the mood for delicious soups, salads, sandwiches or desserts. I haven't tried the rest of the menu yet but I bet it's just as delicious. read more

This place just does it right. They have great fresh food. A fantastic environment and good prices. Sandwiches are about $7-9. Expect to pay about $10 for a meal with lots of great options.
