They are over priced and they gave me a mushy hash brown that they must of just thrown on the grill for two minutes after it being frozen. Their chicken cutlet is all bread and hard chicken pieces. Don't eat here ever

The bacon egg and cheeses are delicious and cheap. I think they're $2. But it's cash only for anything less than $10.

The pesto parm was a huge piece of crispy chicken breast, nicely melted mozzarella cheese, with just a little kick. The bacon ranch parm the pickle de gallo - brilliant. Bacon was weak it looked like one piece cut in half, siracha ranch gave the sandwich just the right flavor. Parm tots - even though the tots did not have the standard crispy texture all the flavors were delicious. Finally dessert - fried dough bites - not overly greasy like typical fried dough. The combo of chocolate and peanut butter sauces made me wish I had ordered two of them! Only thing I would do to make them even better is if there is special instructions I would add extra chocolate and peanut butter sauce.

My husband had the Fajita Rita wrap sandwich and I had the Bacon Ranch with a side of the cheddar tots. Everything was delicious. The folks at the shop made it extremely quickly so A+ for service in my book and they were really really kind to put the sauces on the side for us since my husband and I tend to have issues with certain flavorings so it made us feel really happy to be able to ask for that on the side and have it done because we know how busy Shoppe can get. I definitely recommend their sandwiches and those tots are out of this world.

Since I got…read moremy Traeger few yrs ago, I have been looking for a place to get quality meat whether it's beef, pork, lamb or poultry. Steve who was working Friday night provided answers to every question I had including on recreating the porchetta my in-laws would do every Thanksgiving. I needed to find a butcher who could get me a fresh ham, remove the bone, and remove the fat cap but keep it in tact so I could wrap the pork back in it after seasoning. He said they could do it all but also discussed options if I wanted to do a 6 lb porchetta vs a 20+ pounder. He even gave me a history lesson on the Boston pork butt. I then started with questions on beef short plate ribs and rib roasts and chuck eye. Well after talking about marbling on the long short ribs in the case (not the Littles usually in super markets) I bought two for dinner on Saturday. I smoked them for about 6 hours. They were so tender and delicious. By far much cheaper than most BBQ places that charge $50 per rib. My friend, John, who shops there often picked up a a pot roast for saturday dinner. He said it was like butter. So if you get a chance stop in and pick up some meat or house made hot dogs or sweet and hot italian sausage.

Customers were coming in to pick up their meat orders. The deli area offers a variety of cold and hot sandwiches, salads, sides. Great selection. I ordered a roast beef and Swiss on a hard roll, with coleslaw and horseradish sauce. It was fantastic! The meat was flavorful and plentiful and that homemade slaw added a great little kick. They also have baked breads and goodies. I left with a sourdough bread and a choc chip cookie. There are some tables outside to eat. They also sell unwashed, unrefrigerated chicken eggs from a local farm. So great! I did buy these, but somehow they didn't make it into my bag which I did not discover until I got home, but other than that, service was super friendly and helpful. So refreshing to have quality customer service. The store is well organized, nicely decorated, and extremely clean. I recommend a stop in and I will make a point to return as soon as possible.

Lots of specials that change weekly. It's dark inside with lots of great decor and memorabilia. The employees were friendly and helpful. They offer homemade limoncello. Events during the week like trivia night, karaoke and bingo. There is the main entrance and a takeout entry on opposite ends of the parking lot. The burgers were really good. I got the chile burgeritto. The chile was very good and had no beans in it. The chopped onions go great with it. The fries were good, but very salty. We also got the fries with gravy and cheese. Those didn't have as much salt and were great. The onion rings were just ok, nothing special. I definitely had a good first experience.

Took the kids, they got the cheeseburgerritto and the chili chicken ritto I got the steak and cheese then we shared a buffalo chicken Mac and cheese. We all agreed the Mac and cheese was close to perfect.. and that's saying a lot. It's not fancy but it's well made, not from A box and they use quality cheese and the pasta is cooked well, just firm enough to hold the cheese and the Buffalo chicken was very tasty We all enjoyed the "rittos" my steak an cheese was one of the best I've had in years.. fries are good, I'm not a fry person but they seemed fresh, cooked and seasoned well. Pickles were tasty, not made in-house although I'll bet they could if they wanted to. But still a very solid pickle. The waitress was very polite, professional and helpful. My friend and I both had burgers, which were delicious -- but what were REALLY awesome were the french fries. Slim, perfectly cooked and salted -- hoo mama. Other reviewers have mentioned that the menu has more of an Asian influence -- this continues to be true, and in fact, when we return I'd like to try some of those more specifically Asian or Asian-inspired dishes. One thing I perceived, though, was that the pickles on the burger were brined in something that tasted almost seafood-y -- I'm allergic so I don't think it was actual fish sauce or something, but something that gave it a slight fishy taste, like when you have seaweed. Anyway, that was the only thing I didn't care for -- but it didn't bother me enough to not want to try again! We loved the ambience and the location was also super convenient with free parking in the back. I'll update my review after my next visit!

3.5 stars We were on…read moreour way home from a road trip and were looking for a great lunch spot on our route, when we came across Foundry Kitchen and Tavern, which was located in the quaint town of Sandy Hook. As we drove through the village, we saw the restaurant on our left-hand side. It was housed in a historical brick building with a sprawling deck overlooking the Pootatuk River. It was a beautifully sunny day, so I immediately suggested that we dine outside. Unfortunately for us, the part of the balcony that was covered and offering live acoustic music was completely full. That meant that we were seated on the far edge of the patio with no shield from the strong sun or any ability to hear the tunes. In addition to the unideal seating, the food took a very long time to arrive, so I just sat there roasting. The server offered to move us inside, but we stuck it out for the view. I had ordered the Fattoush Salad with Chicken. The Mediterranean bowl included mixed greens, tomatoes, cucumbers, feta, kalamata olives, and fried naan croutons, though I had omitted the red onion that was also supposed to be in the blend. I had asked for the red wine vinaigrette on the side and wound up not using much of it. The salad was fresh and tasty, but the chicken had an odd preparation. It was not grilled (like I would have hoped for a healthy salad topper) and not deep-fried, but was roasted or pan-fried or something, which I had not expected. It had a crispy skin, but remained reasonably tender at least. I also grabbed a few of my partner's fries, which were excellent. After we wrapped up the meal, I stopped inside to cool off and use the facilities, which consisted of a singular, unisex bathroom in the corner of the rustic dining room. There was a bit of a line, and they could certainly have benefitted from additional restrooms. I really did like the antique atmosphere at Foundry Kitchen and Tavern, but I think that the heat just made the experience a bit challenging for me. I would definitely consider returning, but would be more diligent in my seating and food selections.
