We spent the day with our toddler by going to a petting zoo and park and decided to grab lunch nearby. We never ate here before but we were craving pizza and it was close. The older gentleman (owner?) and young girl working there were so friendly and sweet with our son. He is very shy normally and they were singing him songs and being sweet with him. We loved the pizza especially our toddler who ate a whole slice along with some French fries. Just the fact they were making him smile and laugh helped us have a very relaxing and easy going lunch! Thank you for the great lunch we will be back soon!

Pretty good pizza. Space felt very cozy. They served us lemon water which was nice. Service was very attentive, always asking how is the food and if we needed anything. Reasonable prices too. Also they have a very extensive menu. We just got a chicken vegetable slice and a slice of the Sicilian pizza and they all had the right amount of sauce and cheese.

When it comes to pizza, loyalty to a geographic region's tomato pie comes close to fanaticism. It is completely understandable that raging debates about whether Brooklyn or Pittsburgh or Trenton or Philly or some little shop on the wild streets of South Boston make the best pie. But, the wise peacemakers among us know the secret - they are all the best if you love them. So much better to put aside parochial claims of superiority and just eat them all! Even the worst is so much better than what those poor souls have to accept as pizza in Colorado or some other state with altitude. Just mange and enjoy. Let your oralgasms carry you away... Newtown Pizza makes a decent pizza, but it will never be mistaken for an escapee from Napoli nor Roma, let alone Brooklyn Heights nor Chambersburg. Yet, walking by the display counter with all the attractive pies can set your glands a-squeezing, and the Trenton Pie is very aesthetically pleasing to the eye and tongue. The crust holds the weight of the toppings firmly, perhaps because it is a bit thicker than Romana, and the ingredients are top shelf. Still, the overall taste sensation is not the transcendent experience of my favorite pizza shrines. Nonetheless, it is a standup slice worthy of consumption. The Eggplant Parm is not always prime, as I have found it to be tough chewing at times. The same goes for the steak sandwiches. Mostly a good fill, but occasionally a little under or over grilled. Just enough to keep you guessing. Friendly ownership, staff and crew, and a good citizen in the community. As offered at the top, to each his/her own when it comes to pizza. For those of us who love Ntown Pizza, the world is your oyster. Chow down close to home. For the others of us who have different pizza needs, we know where to go to satisfy them, both near and far. 8.27.13 I just had a couple of great slices of Newtown Pizza's Margarita Pie. Really excellent. I like a slightly charred crust because it tends to be crunchy and supportive of the weight above it. This one was, with a mildly sweet sauce and fresh mozza, doctored with a light dusting of hot chili pepper flakes. Take a look at the photo. It was as good as it looks. Keep it up fellas and cinco estrellas could be close at hand.

Okay sorry I really wanted to like this place, I drove by it several times and fell in love with the old stone building and hanging lights outside. I was hoping for the same type of decor inside. I walked in and BAM! its just another pizza place, with the old time table cloth, plain white walls and the initial feeling was unclean. I had a piece of Sicilian pizza and my friend had a piece of buffalo chicken pizza. The crust to the Sicilian was lite but the cheese and the sauce were nothing to write home about. the chicken pizza had an attractive swirl of buffalo sauce but it was not enough and it lacked chicken. Curious about the sauce I ordered mozzarella sticks with sauce. The sticks did not taste fresh and the sauce had no flavoring. I was not impressed. I was just expecting more from a restaurant in Newtown. I must say though the young adults working there are very nice and professional and the service was excellent. I will not be returning.

Pizza was good but could have a bit crispier crust. Plus one star for the cleanest bathrooms ever.

Be careful. They do not always adhere to their posted hours. They sometimes close 15 minutes early. It happened to us tonight.

Best pizza in Newtown. Consistent, good balance between cheese and sauce and always delivered hot. Keep up the good work.

Dillon, our server, was OUTSTANDING!!! He was professional, and so attentive to all our needs. He was knowledgeable about the menu. He even went and found out the info for the wine that I was drinking (Duckhorn Merlot), which paired so well with the lamb chops (that I would recommend). We would ask for Dillion again for a future visit, but I am sure all the servers here are great. The decor and lighting was great The bread came out first. Delicious. The food was excellent. I had the split lamp chops. My wife had the chicken parm. They were prepared perfectly along with the veggies included with the entree'. We had the whipped chocolate mousse for desert. WOW!! Our compliments to the chef all the way around. We even got visited at our table by one of the kitchen staff who ask how everything was. It does get a little loud in there with such an open dining area. Not enough where you can't each other talk. I felt bad for the female singer playing the guitar. It was a little hard to hear her. She did a wonderful job. Great playing, great voice and very relaxing for a perfect meal. We are looking forward to a future visit. Kudos to the entire staff!!!!

After leaving the hospital because my husband said their pizza has been good in the past I was like okay let me call them it was probably a one time thing and we can just get a replacement. The customer service was HORRIBLE !! The manger Nicole had the worse attitude; zero concern. Told us it wasn't her problem. After I asked to speak to someone with a better attitude she put me on a long hold; came back and seemed concerned then just responded " there's nothing I am willing to do" told her we just wanted a fair solution to the issue to which she said she wouldn't provide; so when I let her know I would contact the health department after she told me " this is how our pizza is made " she said go ahead that's not a problem. We never once asked for a refund just a replacement to what we completely overpaid for. Will be contacting the health department as no one should have to experience this; then receive such horrible " customer service " she claims there was no one above her to speak to and no owner would care of my bad experience so they don't care about the quality of their food nor providing a good experience to their costumers.

I called the order ahead for pickup. I placed the order for a Crispy chicken avocado salad and a personal buffalo chicken pizza. They stated 20-25 min. I have to say the food was just coming out when I was arriving. So that's a plus. During this pandemic no employees were wearing masks. Got the food home ready to eat I opened my salad to find out they gave me the wrong salad. They gave me the plain old crispy chicken salad which had bacon in it and my girlfriend cannot eat bacon. Which is why we ordered the one without. Upon playing my salad and removing the bacon off hers I started to eat. Only to see a dead bug or beetle of some sort in my salad. This completely turned us off and we could not even finish the salad. We didn't even get in two bits before we saw this. I would say something like that on a first experience is not a good start. Hopefully somehow they can make it right or refund the charge. I don't typically write negative reviews about a place and give them a few chances but this is where I draw the line with dead bugs in my meal. Back to one of the many other pizza places around. What a disappointment.
