I give no stars. Tony, the General Manager came out to measure and take ourv $624 deposit on July 12th or 13th. We scheduled installation for Sat. 8/06/16 at 8am. We received a call at 7:22am on my cell but I was busy clearing my basement. We stayed until 2am on Sat clearing our basement and woke up atv6am to finish. I returned the call just before 8am and could only understand police and roadblock. I called an hour later and asked if they were still coming and was told, "I don't think so". I immediately called and left a message for Tony. I received a call back from Tony at 5pm to add to the installers excuse ( he could not get out of his neighborhood". Tony reassured me that the installers would come the very next day, Sunday at 8am. We did not receive a call or our installation. My Husband Tony, the GM and could not leave a message on his voicemail. Tony called back at 1:30pm. (Really).... He had a story of how the installer had to make a trip the the ER with his Daughter at 3am ( although we do not believe the story; we felt that we should have received a call first thing Sunday a.m. informing us. I immediately let Tony know that we were taking our business elsewhere after reading the reviews. My bank reversed the deposit payment of $624 back into my Husband's account within two hours. We let our bank know that services were never received and informed them that the company is a fraud and unprofessional. We shut off my Husband's bankcard and he picked up a new one today. ------------------------------ I am shocked at the positive reviews for Next Day. Had an appointment scheduled for the 10am -11am slot. When sales guy hadn't shown, called the company. Was told they would check on his location and call me right back. Waited 20 minutes, called back. A different person told me the sales guy was en route and they would see where he was and call me back. A bit later, get a call from the sales guy stating he had a family problem and he was on his way...would be here in an hour. So, he shows up after 1pm (2-3 hours late). I won't bust on his personality, overall, but I could tell he felt flustered and uncomfortable. He sat down to give an estimate that was exactly 60% higher than the one I had received from another large reputable company. (Exact same product/brand, etc). I said, let's just stop here, since you are 60% higher already, even though you have a low price guarantee. He said he would call his boss and see what they could do. I offered him a copy of the other company's estimate, but he refused and said he would email later with a new estimate. He called that evening and told me the best he could do was a bit less (still 40% higher than the other). I asked about their price guarantee and he said that was best boss could do. I told him we weren't interested in the hardwood floors, then, but I would still like a written quote for carpet for upstairs. He promised to email quote that evening. That was last week....never heard back. Just disappointed in having to wait for the sales guy...and having to track him down. Kind of disgusted they offer a best price guarantee, but didn't seem interested in honoring this. Then, of course, sales guy never even completed the circle, when he failed to email the promised quote. Sorry, cannot recommend. read more

After too many years with the same carpet (12) along with usual pet stains, we finally bit the bullet. I contacted at least 1/2 dozen companies both listed through Yelp and advertisements on a Sunday evening. Monday only 2 companies contacted me back. Jason with Next Day listened to what we were seeking along with price range-major factor. Came same day with samples we requested. No attempt to steer into a higher price category or negatively commenting on anything. Came away with good feeling and written estimate and waited for the other contacts to call and get some estimates. Sadly, Dominion Carpet and Mo the owner came out the next day. His cologne hit us before he walked in door along with all the comments that Jason did not make, quality terrible, we were seeking Berber and some kitchen floor. He brought in 1 sample-a high end carpet. We went through 1 hour of cologne and sales pitch and too high a price and no written estimate left! Jason followed up via telephone with some additional suggestions and sent within a couple of days some pics. We had him come over that Friday--with the flooring sample for kitchen -Raskin Resilient tile-which we loved. We bumped up our price range for the floor since so reasonable from the simple vinyl. We agreed on a price that day and an install date for the following Monday. 4 gentlemen, Felix, Tony, Irwin and Jose came out on time, knew what they were doing, courteous and moved furniture with no issues. 10 hours later we had a new house-so to speak whole house completed. We will definitely recommend to anyone seeking new flooring and carpeting. Next Day did what the customer sought-price factor, time frame and smooth sailing with install. Most important-followed up immediately with our Yelp request for info. I am still waiting for the others to contact me--LOL! I needed carpeting in my master bedroom, called Next Day Carpet and Flooring around 3 PM on a Friday and they were able to fulfill my request the next day at 8:30 AM. I am extremely picky about customer service and these guys truly exceeded my expectations. The General Manager understood how important it was that I get carpet the very next day since company was coming and he made arrangements for me. Absolutely outstanding service from my first contact to schedule the estimate to when the estimate itself with James (who was super friendly and non-pressuring) to the installation. The installation in my master bedroom took just a couple hours and we left the guy alone and it was just fine. The quality of the work and the product are outstanding. Highly recommend this company! I called Next Day Carpet and Flooring in Woodbridge, Va. to come to our house in Culpeper, Va. about installing carpet in our home. They were very courteous and friendly on the phone. A date was set up for Wednesday, Feb. 25th. GC brought samples, measured, and gave is a very reasonable price and the deal was made. We set Friday, Feb. 27th (2 days later) for installation at approximately 9. Edwardo and helper arrived at 8:30 and began to move furniture and removing old carpet. They worked until after 5 and finished 3 rooms and stairs perfectly. Furniture was replaced with care. We could not be happier with the carpet, the service, the promptness, the price and the personalities of each person we dealt. We WILL use Next Day Carpet and Flooring again and refer our friends. They said that they could install next day, but had to reschedule when they actually saw the job. Then they showed up late on the rescheduled day. After two hours working, they went into town to have lunch for an hour. I got a call from the owner at 5:30 pm this evening asking me if they could stay and finish the job until 10 pm! Mind you, this was a kitchen vinyl floor so we can't even cook dinner or go out since they are in our house. I asked if they could finish tomorrow, he said "No, because they have another job". This is a great company to do business with. Tony was great providing all the information required for our large project. We replaced the carpet for our entire home. The workmanship was great, the carpet is great and the padding was excellent. Replacing carpet is all about how much time you are willing to spend educating yourself about the millions of options available to you within your budget. After six month of use I can make a review that is very positive for the Shaw carpet and padding that was used and the installation. ANTHONY BULFON IS A THIEF! Tony deserves ZERO STARS - all the 5-star reviews are from almost a year ago. Tony collected money from me for carpet and installation and he has never showed up to install it and never gave me a refund. On the day of installation no one showed up. I called his cell, I called his office, I emailed and texted him all day. Finally, he called with a story. I just asked for a refund. He begged me to allow him to fulfill his contract. I agreed, then he never called to set up a new date for installation. I filed a complaint with the BBB and the FTC. Then he called, and I asked for a refund. He said he would drop off "a check or cash." That was 10 days ago. I am calling the police as this is now a criminal matter. He stole thousands from me and no services are rendered. read more

I wish I could give no stars...Please do not waste your money or time dealing with this shady company. I paid thousands and thousands of dollars to this company, May 2015 to replace my carpet and vinyl flooring in the bathrooms and laundry room. Ever since the installation, there has been huge bubbles in the vinyl flooring in the two large bathrooms and the laundry room.  Even if you step on the bubbles, they just move to another location in floor and are huge. That shows how this company's work is and they will lie to you and tell you" they have a lifetime warranty on installation and products". Yea complete load of b.s, I called this company a month after installation to let them know about bubbles to get fixed and general manager Tony in Virginia told me to wait a couple more months to let adhesive stick to sub floor to let bubbles go away on there own. I did that and played a game of phone tag with him and his incompetent employees for a few months and finally a year later, Oscar came out to look at floor after being schedule 2 times before and changing plans around so I could be home and having them not even show up or call until I called them. I then call Tony who seemed so shocked and said deal only with him if I have any problem, ok if you say so. .  I told him what Oscar said that since its 2 layers of vinyl flooring, its best to completely remove flooring and the sub floor which is the thin piece of wood underneath. Oscar also said the way they will try to fix this is put little tiny holes in the flooring to get holes out. Sounds completely cheap to me and a way to fix this the least expensive way for the, no matter what it looks like. I told Tony the general manager, I wanted it removed and done the right way since I paid so much and he told me he wasn't at office and to call him over weekend and he will have my file and we will talk cost for me. I was super busy and didn't get a chance to call that weekend, do you think he would ever call me?, no way.  Another couple of weeks went by of him not answering my call and him calling me late when im busy at work. Finally got a hold of him and he totally "forgot" everything we talked about or the fact that Oscar came out once to looked at it. He didn't even tell me about the option of replacing it the right way which is replacing the vinyl flooring. No he said we will do the industry standard way of fixing this which is poke holes in it, when I told him I didnt want a bunch of holes in my flooring, he said i wont see them. Sounds like a cheap way to me but he said if im not satisfied with it we will go another route but Oscar is his best installer so I said fine. I scheduled for Thursday May 5, 2016, and they would call me the night before to tell me a time I should expect Oscar to come. No calls the night before and I changed an already scheduled  appointment and no one showed up or called me still to this day, a week later! So months of phone tag with them and 3 scheduled days where I was told this will get fixed, NO ONE showed up or called me. Great company huh? Oh and carpets are fine for the most part but we do feel some bumps when we walk and you can see lines of where they bring the different pieces of carpets together such as from room to hall way which your not suppose to see at all. I definitely regret choosing Next day carpet and flooring to do this job and feel like I wasted a lot of money!!! Please choose another company for your flooring and carpet need. This company will do everything right to get your money and have them install your carpet or floor. If there is any problems which there will be after installation,  you will be going through the same problems I am. SAVE YOUR MONEY AND DO NOT USE NEXT DAY CARPET AND FLOORING. We needed new carpet in the house we bought and I had heard good things about Next Day so I gave them a call. First Jason came out who was such a nice guy and very knowledgeable about the products. He wasn't pushy and didn't try to up sell us on anything! The prices were by far the best and I loved the turn around time for what we needed. Anyway, the bedrooms were installed in 5 hours and it looks fantastic! But here is where these guys seriously rock.....the previous owner really messed up the basement carpet by cleaning with a rug doctor and letting the carpet sit sopping wet for days which led to a foul mildew smell. We were going to hold off on re-doing the basement since we had already been shelling out so much money with moving and decided to get the carpet cleaned really well. Well, that didn't work at all. I walked into the house 2 DAYS BEFORE we were to move in and the smell was putrid. I called Next Day and spoke to Tony (the owner) at 6PM and asked if there was any way possible to have the whole basement redone the next day. Well guess what, THEY DID IT! The day before we moved in the nasty carpet was removed and brand new Berber was installed! The smell was gone immediately! The installers worked their butts off and got it done. Overall, the whole entire team is hands down the BEST!! I would recommend them over and over and over again. I deemed it necessary to leave a review after the gentlemen from Nextday Carpet and Flooring installed carpet in my basement. Tony from NextDay carpet was fabulous and gave us an unbelievable deal on our carpet. We did run into one problem where the carpet we selected wasn't available and the installers had already pulled up my old carpet. They brought two other samples that my wife and I didn't really care for so Tony quickly resolved the problem by offering us better carpet that matched our color selection at no additional charge. After the installers finished installing the new carpet we were ecstatic with the results. LIARS. FRAUDS. BUYER BEWARE. DO NOT TRUST THE WORD OF THEIR SO-CALLED MANAGER, TONY. AND, DEFINITELY DO NOT GIVE YOUR CREDIT CARD TO THESE PEOPLE. Next Day Carpet? Ha! This company should be called "Carpet Whenever WE Feel Like It." I contacted them about a time-sensitive job. I needed to have the badly damaged carpet in my rental property replaced in time to re-lease the property by the end of the week. I explained that I'd had two other carpet companies lie and jerk me around about being able to handle an installation by a certain date, only to be contacted on the day before (or the day of) the scheduled installation to tell me they couldn't do it on the day they'd assured me they could. I stressed to them the importance of getting the job on the next day, as their name suggests they could do. They were quick to schedule a time for the measurements and carpet selection. They were also very quick to take my credit card number and have me sign an "order" that did not provide any details about what exactly was being ordered. They assured me they had the carpet I selected in stock, and they also assured me that they'd be able to install it the next day, which was critical for me. I was supposed to get a call later on the day I placed the order to inform me what time the installation would take place the next day. I waited, and waited, and waited. Finally, after 9 PM, the lying, no-good Tony calls me with nothing but excuses. Supposedly, he had "3 vans break down" on him, on the very same day. Yeah, right. What are the odds? Slim. He then proceeds to profess his honesty and fair business dealing practices so he just wanted to give me a heads-up that my installation might not happen on the next day. Seriously? After I stressed to you the importance of getting this job done by a certain time? I told him that he needed to figure it out, get some rental vans, or whatever he needed to do because my carpet needed to be installed by 11:59 PM on the next day, or he was going to not only be liable for the deposit amount, but also the lost opportunity costs I would incur due to an inability to deliver the rental property to my new tenant due to the carpet not being replaced. Needless to say, I never heard from them on the day installation was supposed to take place. I called Tony that evening, and he FLAT OUT LIED to me, saying that the vans had been repaired, and his installation crew was en route to my condo to do the install. LIES, LIES, NOTHING BUT LIES! I went over to my condo the next morning to take a look at the new carpet that was supposedly installed the previous evening, and you already know the outcome. The same damaged carpet that was supposed to be replaced was still there. I called them, I texted them, I emailed them. No response. I just got off the phone with American Express to report the fraudulent charges, and will also be filing suit to recoup the additional damages incurred due to their failure to meet the terms of their contract. STAY AWAY. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME. DO NOT BELIEVE THEIR LIES. read more

I am extremely happy and overly satisfied with the entire experience using Next Day Carpet. I called signed up for an estimate only. I received a call a few hours later setting up a time for my free estimate. Jason came to my house the next morning. He was very professional and discussed all of our options. He was extremely knowledgeable and through with his information. Shortly after he left we received the estimate we had just discussed via email. When we were ready to schedule I called and left a message. Tony called back that day and we scheduled the installation. Two nice men showed up on the scheduled day. ( I didn't schedule the following day because of my schedule. True to their name, the next day was available.) I didn't receive a heads up call the morning of. It was fine, though, because we knew roughly what time to expect them. Installation took about 4 hours. The nice young men were efficient and did a wonderful job.
