I put a work request out on Yelp for an outdoor gas line that I was having trouble with-Next Generation was the first to respond-offered to come the next morning. We set appointment and Angelo arrived as scheduled. He was great! Couldn't fix the problem at first but he came back a couple hours later with some serious tools and knocked it out. Price was more than fair...I felt like it was worth more. If you need plumbing work done-call him. Called on a rainy Sunday afternoon for a main line stoppage due to roots in the line. The owner came out himself. He worked diligently for 2 hours trying to clear. He got half of it but due to the severe nature of my stoppage he advised I call another plumber who had a stronger auger/snake. Although the issue was partly fixed, I am more impressed with his HONESTY and suggestions to get the issue 100% resolved. I live in a 50 year old house with big trees and roots so I know from past experiences about plumbing complications. Angelo responded to my call very quickly, arrived at my property within the hour, gave me a quote and scheduled the work for the very next day. The job was replacing two gate valves controlling the water to the house and yard. The main valve could not be shut off and the secondary valve was frozen shut (no water to yard). Angelo cut out the old valves and installed very high quality brass ball valves. He worked on the job for at least 2 1/2 hours in the hot sun. We're talking Brentwood, no shade at 2:00 in the afternoon, in July. Each time I spoke with him he was patient and friendly. The completed work looks and works great! Plus, added bonus, much better water flow than before. In sum, Angelo was a great guy, very professional and did a great job at a fair price. I own ten rental properties. I hired NGP to install some new faucets and toilets. When they got here we realized that I would need new shut off valves as well. They gave me a fair price to have this work done and stayed late into the evening to get as much done as possible. My favorite part was they told me they would come back on Thursday for sure but Wednesday was a possibility and they ended up coming back on Wednesday to finish the job. I feel like with everything going on today someone who does what they say they are going to do and shows up when they say they are going to show up is priceless. They were professional and I am extremely happy with their work and although I won't hopefully need plumbing work for anytime soon I will recommend them to anyone who ask. The water heater in my Brentwood home couldn't get ignited after the earthquake shutoff valve somehow got tripped. I re-ignited it a few times before, but not this time, so I thought the control valve might be bad. Called Next Gen Plumbing and scheduled an appointment with Angelo. He showed up on time, and magically restarted the pilot, and everything worked fine. He patiently demoed the ignition system and even inspected the earthquake shutoff valve. I asked him about the tankless water heater, he explained the pros and cons, and told me it might cost a lot more upfront due to the reconfiguration needed. After spending at least 20 minutes, on his way out, he told me it's free of charge! I couldn't believe it. Where could you find such an honest technician nowadays? I know who I should talk to if I have anything related to plumbing and water heaters in the future. It's a pleasure to do business with someone who is honest, with integrity. We had an emergency the day after Thanksgiving. Our water heater was leaking and causing water damage to the house. The weather was terrible (exceptionally cold and windy for this area). Yet Angelo came out within just a couple of hours to stop the water damage, even though he was already with another client. And he came out again the next morning to completely replace the water heater. He did a great job with the installation, and paid special attention to detail to make sure everything was done just right before calling the job "done." Angelo is awesome! . It is very hard to find someone who is willing to come during the week after 7pm and on weekends, when both people in your home work far away and late. He was very flexible with his schedule and easily accommodated our needs. He was able to come out and check out issues with our toilet, and explained in detail what the problem was and what he would need to do. He also looked at the other toilets and the shut off values in each bathroom. He gave us a couple of options, and never pushed us to doing more work than we were looking for at this time. He was very respectful of our home. He would either take off his shoes when going inside and he brought his own cleaning supplies to clean up the area he was working in. I did some kitchen updates and was worried that my new sink was too deep and would not clear the existing plumbing. Angelo stopped by to give me a free quote and jumped right in! I appreciated that he gave me 30 mins heads up, took his shoes off when he arrived and wore a mask the entire time. This review is a little overdue. I discovered a leak under my kitchen sink. I called a popular local plumber, they quoted me a rather large fee just to come and look and couldn't come for several days. I found Angelo on yelp, called him and he came the next evening (no house call fee). He called before he came, removed his shoes and went to work. I had what I believe to be an emergency at about 4:15am during the week. I woke up to sounds of rushing water coming from the bottom floor of my house. I figured out the sound was coming from my water softener but since I've never used one (mine has been unplugged since we bought the house a few years ago) I didn't know if something was wrong.
