My AC stopped blowing cold during the heatwave. To make matters worse, I'm just a couple weeks from the the close of the sale of my home. I had to get the issue fixed quickly and cheaply. I requested a quote from Next Level around 10pm and received a response within minutes. They let me know they can come out the next day for $59 to diagnose the issue and the fee would be waived if I proceeded with their recommended repair. After trying to deal with a guy who does HVAC "side work", we were without AC during the first real hot week of year. I sent out a project request on Saturday 6/19 to 6 places to have my system replaced. Most places responded in text that they would get back to me sometime between Monday-Wednesday. The sales manager called me Sunday morning to setup an appointment and came out the same day on Father's Day. I named a budget and he was able to stay 10% under that number which was a phenomenal deal. Honesty is something that HVAC companies tend to lack, but I did not feel that way when dealing with him. The crew made it out Tuesday first thing in the morning and we were up and running before 2PM with a cooler and harder blowing system than the one which was replaced. Our AC Stopped working in the middle of the September EXTREME HEAT wave with 100 PLUS degree SoCal 20 year record breaking temperatures. We called several local AC repair companies including the company that INSTALLED our AC. Appointments were 5 or more days OUT, nothing sooner. We called NEXT LEVEL HEATING AND COOLING and they arrived the SAME DAY we called for service! Our compressor fan motor and capacitor needed to be replaced. They got us up and running with a temporary fix (universal parts) so we could have A/C right away and ordered the manufacturer OEM replacement parts needed and returned to finish the job. Shout out to Mark O'Campo, the field technician, who fixed our AC. He was highly knowledgeable, honest, friendly and trustworthy. He texted us and let us know when parts were ordered and when he would be back out. I cannot recommend Mark enough. Great guy. Our bill was FAIR and LESS than what the local AC companies had quoted us. And it's important to note that NEXT LEVEL HEATING AND COOLING did NOT charge us for anything until the job was complete and to our satisfaction. Great service. Called yesterday and was able to get an appointment the following AM. Couldn't figure out why my AC unit suddenly stopped working outside but was still blowing air into the house. I tried to do some troubleshooting myself but didn't want to mess with the unit. Just as scheduled, Axel arrived and I explained what was going on. He inspected the unit and immediately began to step-by-step trouble shoot the situation. Axel found the problem which was a clog in the water hose coming from the water pump. I just had the best client experience with a heating/cooling service technician in my entire life. Jose, the owner of Next Level HVAC is by far the most honest professional I have ever dealt with. My AC unit suddenly stopped working outside and I did some troubleshooting myself but didn't want to mess with the unit. I reached out to Jose through Yelp and he responded quickly. He even was able to accommodate a 30 min window instead of the normal 2 hours due to my remote work schedule. Once he arrived, I explained the situation that the AC unit stopped working and that I was suspicious it may from a HOA contract crew that was doing some work in the neighborhood just a day before. Jose had me turn on the thermostat to cool and he went outside to look at the AC unit and immediately found the problem which was the AC power switch outside was put in the wrong way. Someone pulled out the switch and installed it back in incorrectly. What made Jose different then all other service tech was when I brought out my card to pay him for his time to come out he refused to accept payment. Jose already had the lowest dialogistic fee for coming out from most of the service techs I had seen on yelp but he still did not want to take payment because he felt he didn't do much work for the payment. I have never encountered anything like this in my entire life with any service techs. Jose has absolutely won himself a customer for life. HIRE NEXT LEVEL YOU WONT REGRET IT! My husband put a request to try and get someone to come to our house (that we just bought in Oct 2020) bc our AC was not cooling the home. Jose sent us a message right away and came the next day to figure out what was going on with our AC...it was a mess! LOL We had a system that was about 35 yrs old and did not cool bc of the adding of the square foot of our home and plain simple it was old. The ducts look like Godzilla came and teared everything up. He gave us some options that can temporarily fix the problem...but we live in "Sunny LA" so we decided it was best to change the whole system. He gave us a quote and we told him we would let him know. Since this is our first home; we also wanted to get other opinions and see where we stand. 2 other companies came and one had a similiar price as him and the other one felt over priced. We decided to go with Jose bc 1) he was not pushy (the other one called us abt 4x the same day they left) 2) jose was very professional and you can feel when someone is being honest and he deserved the gig. We called him on a friday and he told us they would come Monday morning. They showed up and got to work. They put mats on the floor where they would work so it wont scratch your floor etc. They cleaned all the dust. Our gig would take 2 days bc they removed our old system; added to the attic, they change all the duct work, new vents, new everything! I was super excited bc lately is been so hot and my 21 month old babywas so fustruated being at home with this heat. They finished and showed us everything they did. The guys waited for the system to cool the house. We were bless to encounter these guys bc they worked fast and ensure everything was up and running.
