Wow! Quality and service rank highly in my reviews. Mom and I came here after a day of doctor appointments for her. She git great news, so we wanted to celebrate a bit. The entire staff was so incredibly gracious, respectful and attentive to my mother. They vibe was genuinely uplifting beginning to end. My mom is 86 and has limited mobility. She has been through the ringer medically these past couple years. It is a rare treat for her to be able to even go to a nail salon, much less get such a nice pampered treatment. She chose the pedi with the 35 min massage, so that's what we both did. It was zen experience with a great pedi to boot. I am so thankful how wonderfully nice these ladies were to my mom -checking to see several times how she was enjoying it. They have lots of dip colors, massaging chairs and obviously do care about proper sanitation bc they had an autoclave machine. We looked at several places online. We chose the perfect one. read more

Been coming here for years. But this time I went in for a normal pedicure and dip powder on my hands. The prices have gone up each time. Which doesn't make a difference but this time after going, here it is two days later and I have pain and tingling in my feet and nail bed on my toes. The guy scrubbed very hard with the tools and the water got very cold and cloudy as he was doing the service, which seemed unusual, but I expect people to know how to do their job. I didn't really think about it until after.. that the water being dirty from the callous removal.. and hard scrubbing might've caused a problem. Now I may have my first ever infection in my life. On top of this they never have the same nail techs that I love and they always lie and say they are out of town or at another location, when really they no longer work there. I don't like changing nail techs to avoid beginner nail techs that damage my feet and cause infections. Smh. Lastly, this trip took 2.5 + hours! Normally 1 hour, a hour and a half but on a weekday midday no other clients it took ALL DAY. Not acceptable. Needless to say I'm on the hunt for another salon. read more

I had a horrible experience at another nail salon. My nails were not done how I requested and were insanely think. Nevertheless I waited till they grew out to get them done again. This time I decided to do more research and stumbled upon Nexus. They had great reviews so I thought I'd give them a chance. Sugar did both my manicure and pedicure. She was so patient when removing the horrible tips and dip from the precious place. She did an amazing job!! I would definitely return. The owner was also very kind! read more

A friend recommended this nail salon and we are so happy that we decided to give it a try! While it's a bit of a drive for us from the Energy Corridor, I think we've found our new go-to nail place! We had an absolutly fabulous experience there - great service, friendly staff, and a welcoming atmosphere. My husband and I decided treat ourselves and get the Organic Nuskin Pedicure ($60). It was AAAAAMAAZZZZIIINNGGG....we both felt like we were in heaven. We got massages upon massages on our legs in feet, in addition to a well needed shoulder massage. The massage chairs are comfortable and feel great - so much better than our previous nail salon. Did I also mention that you get a free complimentary drink with your service? And if you want to make a day of it, this nail salon is right next to a boba tea, delicious food options, and Costco. I highly recommend this place, you won't regret coming here! read more

Decent shellac manicure I've gotten in Sugar Land! The staffs were professional and my nail techs did a fantastic job on my manicure with great attention to detail. Overall, very pleased! Also I leave happy and super satisfied with the service that they provide. I've always chose Nexus when I'm in the area to get my nails done here in Sugarland because not only are they super clean, but they are very professional. It was my first time here because a friend recommended me and will be my last time. I made an appointment online. It's a nice place however the staff, especially the guy, was very standoffish to me. I was never offered a drink like the other customers and I think they got confused because I wanted a pedicure but the lady ended up just applying color without everything else. I noticed also they treated the other customers politely. I felt very out of place. The man who did my nails needs to fix his attitude. He acted like he did not want to be there at all. I was seated at the pedicure chair and he snatched the pillow and towel from me telling me to move to the table. My bag fell when he flipped up the table on the side of the chair. The whole time he was doing my nails I felt very uncomfortable, intimidated, and rushed. Towards the end I especially felt rushed because he would just gesture at me, never speaking a word and applied the oil as fast as he could and rushed me to pay. I do not recommend him at all! Well let's see.. I made an appointment online from a recommendation from YELP. And when I got to the salon it was a ghost town. I've been here before and it was crazy busy. Hmm... red flag or maybe it's just early? I went inside and said that I have an appointment. I was told that the ladies that my appointment was with do not work at the salon anymore. And that the salon is under new management. Hmm.. well that's weird. I sat down and my pedicure water was COLD and my overall experience just wasn't the same as my 1st time. Gel manicure and pedicure was fine. But, definitely not worth $74!! No wonder the salon was a ghost town. read more

Very pleased with the quality of the service we received here! The Vietnamese iced coffee was delicious. The nail techs were so gentle and kind. They took their time and even made suggestions for nail color to ensure that we were happy with the final result. Only didn't give a 5 star review because they didn't honor the 20% off promotion they have here on Yelp. Upon check out (after receiving our services), we were told it was only for their opening, and they can't figure out how to remove it. This will be my new spot for sure! I just moved to town and a very close friend used to do my nails to perfection so I'm particular. Lana did my pedicure and Ann did my powder dip manicure and they blew me away. The service was very, very attentive, they listened to all my requests, were very gentle, and I LOVED how the dip manicure had the shellac to match for my pedicure. The environment is extremely peaceful, clean, organized and professional. Their system check-in was easy, a ticket is created with your specific service and they note everything you need for the technician. I elevated my pedicure to get a wonderful massage with hot stones and it was absolutely fantastic. Clearly, I never experienced what real care and customer service was until I came here and I have been getting my nails done for 15+ years. Today, Stacy gave me a Shellac manicure and it was absolutely perfect. It's newly renovated and the space is very bright with very good lighting. Helen just gave me the best pedicure of my 50 year old life - not kidding! I did the lemon with gel polish and it was a good hour with hot towels, stone massage on my legs, topping off with 5 minutes on my shoulders. My pedi looks great - but after sitting in their beautiful salon for an hour in the massage chair while she worked, I feel like I've had a whole spa day, not just an hour break from a busy Saturday. I went in for a pedicure and asked for a square shape. The nail tech doing my nails immediately cut them extremely short & did not shape them afterwards. I requested she shape them to make them even and she took a file to it for maybe 5 seconds and barely did anything. My nails look awful and I'm so unhappy with them, despite asking for what I wanted and even gently asking for corrections along the way. She also left nail polish on my toe which is beyond unacceptable. I used to really like this place but the quality has gone down so much and I would not recommend you come here if you want a quality pedicure. read more

The only reason why I probably won't come back is because the way they removed my previous dip powder manicure was very unsanitary. Usually nail salons will bring you a bag full of fresh acetone to soak your nails in & remove the old dip powder. But the nail tech here had me soak my nails in a container that had old cotton and acetone already in it. Clearly others have soaked their nails in there before me because the acetone and cotton were already colored. Gross. read more

I was going to this salon from last 6 months to Lana.Today i called and some new gentleman over there said Lana is not available but you can walk in if i can get my nails done by anyone else.I was fine with that and when i go there within 5 minutes the gentleman asks me to wait there for 30 minutes or go to their other salon.
