Awful customer service and disappointing experience. I got a pedicure with shellac, and within just a few days, the polish on two of my toenails completely came off. I called the salon and explained that I wanted all of my toes repainted since the application clearly wasn't done correctly. Instead of making it right, they refused to repaint all of my toes and said they would only fix the two nails that had completely come off. If I wanted all of my toes repainted, I would have to pay an additional $30. At that point, it felt like a complete waste of both my time and money. I also want to mention that the staff was rude during my original pedicure, which made the overall experience even more disappointing. Then, was rude again when I called about needing my toenails fixed. They also do not fix ingrown toenails here, which is something to be aware of if that's a service you're looking for. I had a very disappointing experience with this salon. I was invited to train as a host and completed my first day of training. At the end of the day, I was told to come back on Wednesday to continue working. Based on that communication, I believed that I had a position with the salon and made decisions accordingly. I had another job opportunity that was closer, paid better, and was interested in having me interview, but I turned it down because I believed I would be continuing at this salon. Unfortunately, later that night, the owner suddenly messaged me saying that I was not suitable for the position and that I did not need to return. I completely understand that an employer can decide someone is not the right fit, and I respect that decision. However, I believe the way this was handled was extremely unprofessional. If I had been informed earlier that I was still being evaluated or that the position was uncertain, I could have made a different decision regarding the other opportunity. Because of the late communication, I lost an opportunity that may have been a much better fit for me. I understand that not every job works out, but employers should be transparent about the status of a position before asking someone to make commitments based on the expectation that they will continue working there. I hope the salon can improve its communication with future employees and be more considerate of people's time and other opportunities. read more

When you walk in you definitely feel like you're getting luxury. I really like this type of spa vibe. They offered complimentary drinks, range of color options and styles, and lots of seating space. I received a pedicure and the quality of service was there. One of the techs gave me a towel like as a blanket for my legs since I had shorts on and I didn't even ask for one. The nail tech were friendly and made sure I was comfortable. The only reason I'm giving this place 4 stars is because they do bribe people for 5 star google reviews by giving newcomers $10 off. I saw a sign hanging outside of Genova Nail Spa for their soft opening and gave them a call to ask about their promotions. They were very nice over the phone, and it was easy to make an appointment. Going to the nail salon is a treat for me, so I crossed my fingers in the hopes that this new spot would work out. And it did! Trish did my pedicure and not only was she super sweet, she also did a fantastic job. She was gentle with my feet, and I didn't leave feeling uncomfortable at all. This facility is brand new and has 52 pedicure chairs available for use. There are 4 smaller private rooms. The color selection is enormous, with 10,000 colors available for customers to pick from. I can't give zero stars. My 175$ service turned into $250 after an INFECTION and a trip to the doctor's office. My daughter and I went to Genova for pedicures on Monday, May 15th, 2026 at 11:30 AM. We were both relaxing, closed my eyes to listen to my audio book and I felt a sharp scrape on my left bog toe. When I opened my eyes I saw "Tina" using what appeared to be an eyebrow razor scraping the skin on my big toe. I asked her what she was doing, she said I had hair on my toe. I did not ask for that. Nor have I ever had a nail tech "shave" my toes. After we paid, tipped, and left I went about my day. At approximately 4:00 PM my left foot felt warm along my toes and it looked as if my left toe was swelling. This morning when I woke up all of my toes and half of my foot was red to the touch and inflamed with small pustules/pimples that tingled. I chose to seek medical and made a doctor's appointment. I was treated for a bacterial infection and prescribed an antibiotic and a topical cream. I called the nail salon. They asked for pictures and proof. I asked for a refund for my portion of the service. I was told by 2 different people there are no refunds. Stuff happens, I tried to be fair. For the life of me I can't understand why they asked for pictures if they weren't going to do right by me. read more

For a grand opening the service is not available. Took 15 minutes for the staff to tell me the wait would be for another 15-20 minutes... Promptly left after that and and won't return. What made zero sense was this was on a Friday afternoon (2:30) and the place looked empty (zero clients getting mani services in the front), and went for the first time for a spa pedi for my husband and myself. Pricing is higher than the pre-existing nail spas in the same area too (missing usual extras, like hot stones and massage). Such a shame. Pretty venue though. Will not return, absolutely unacceptable customer service and unprofessional behavior.. The staff here selectively changes their behavior based on your profile. I paid my bill right from the pedicure seat BEFORE my service was even finished. Yet, when I walked out of the building to my car, one of the staff members followed me outside demanding to know if I had paid. It is unacceptable to harass a client when your staff fails to communicate or track payments internally. What made it worse was how this issue was handled when I called to make a formal complaint. The customer service person refused to identify themselves by name and flatly stated that he would not relay my request to management or ownership to return my call to discuss this matter. This employee then claimed that they "couldn't be racist" because they were also a person of color. A person whose claims his job is literally to manage customer relations made this situation significantly worse by accusing me that I "played the victim card". Avoid this place if you don't want to be differentially treated based on the way you look and gaslit when you try to make a complaint. read more

The customer service is absolutely awful. I initially went in for a builder gel manicure and within two days already had 3 chipped nails. Within 4 days, an additional 2 had completely popped off. Definitely not worth the $85 spent whatsoever. Called to see what could be done regarding chipped nails and once I requested a complete refund was told that they don't have a refund policy and was immediately hung up on by the establishments manager. Once I called back I was told that it would've taken 10-15 minutes of 'back and forth' to ultimately end up with the same result (whatever that means). Manager made it seem like I was inconveniencing them while also not providing adequate solutions. I've never had to deal with such poor customer service. Very disappointed with today's visit and won't be returning. I came for a $70 + $18 gel pedicure -- my previous one with Lucie was excellent, but she was busy so another technician helped me. Although she was polite, she wasn't familiar with the pedicure process -- no towel to cover my knees, no steam, and nothing like what I experienced before or saw other customers receiving. The service felt disorganized. When I politely shared my concern, the manager's attitude was the most disappointing part. Instead of listening or showing any understanding, he kept insisting "this is how every one does it" "the big boss asks us to do like this " and refused to acknowledge anything was wrong. No apology, and no effort to make it right. At that point, I was so frustrated that I simply decided to stop the service halfway and leave -- I didn't want to waste any more time arguing. While they adjusted the price, ended up with the bill$58+$18+ tips $10. the manager continued to defend the mistake rather than acknowledge it. understand new staff can make errors, but professionalism and attitude matter most -- and both were lacking today. The reason for the 4 stars is due to the lack of transparency on management's side. My friend & I noticed that they had a 20% off special for new clients on their website. To our disappointment though, they did not clarify that the special was no longer valid (even though it's still listed on the website). There was also no indication that there was a time specification for their happy hour discount either. Personally, I feel like there should be some sort of notice for offers such as those as that would bring more clientele to the salon!
