There is 42 grams of dark chocolate in a cup and you can add flavor shots also. I drank it so fast that I was sad I didn't buy the chocolate powder they were selling so I can make it home myself. They had chocolate samples and you can taste the subtle difference. I wanted to buy everything but I walked out with a couple of dark chocolate bars. If you're in the mood for some amazing chocolate that doesn't have fillers or nasty ingredients check out the NEW Nibble Chocolate location on Garnett, going into Pacific Beach at the old Pack Method Prep. This location just opened about a week ago so any reviews from prior are for other locations. I enjoyed this location because the Old Town one is just so busy and parking can be a pain. This location has easy and free parking and not busy. The young lady at the cash register was friendly and answered our questions about products. I got one of their chocolate drinks (chocolate horchata) and added espresso with oat milk and it was delicious and creamy. Everything on the menu sounded delicious. Conveniently located near my mechanic. Parking lot is tiny, but they do have one directly in front of the shop. Outdoor seating available and no indoor seating. Interior is clean and well organized. Guy behind the counter was super nice and offered samples if I wanted to try any. They sell various chocolates and drinks. Drink was delicious, but a little pricey for the size. My drink came hot and the cup they use is not very well insulated. After about a minute it ends up being too hot to hold the cup. read more

Quickie 12/16 Update: I was dating a guy at the time I wrote this review. He harshly criticized my spending habits for chocolate. Knowing he would never buy me quality candy, and I am happily no longer with him. Saw their stall at the Little Italy farmer's market a couple of weeks ago and had to return. It's just that good! The bars are organic, single origin, and contain two ingredients each: sugar and cacao nibs. They're perfectly tempered and the varying flavors come from where the chocolate was sourced. They have 77% dark and 85% dark. I have a serious habit of eating raw cacao nibs so I chose 85%. If you go to the stall and taste test each one, you will notice how bitter or smooth each bar is, and be able to compare the flavors. I loved all 4 of the bars. I highly recommend this chocolate! What an awesome store! I found this on yelp actually while on a trip to San Diego. They offer samples if you want to try any. They also have some drinks and snacks, pastries and the like. I purchased six chocolate bars in different flavors- coffee, strawberry, raspberry with salt, and mango! The mango sounded really interesting. The worker was really nice and offered me samples to try and recommendations. One thing to know, is they do have some cross contamination with nuts here, so if you have an allergy (like myself) take that caution. I gave these away as gifts and everyone loved them! read more

Nibble is at Farmer's Markets in SD. I have found them at Little Italy Mercado and PB. They sell each bar for $6, or you can buy a nicely packaged 4-pack for $20. I highly recommend the 4-pack -- aside from the $avings and cute package, it allows you to sample and compare the cacao beans from different countries. Each bar is made from the same two ingredients: cacao beans and cane sugar. But because the cacao beans are sourced from different countries, they all taste different. When you sample them, they'll typically give you the least dark (most sugar), but if you're a dark chocolate lover, ask to sample the darker versions. Great for gifts! read more

I've been buying this chocolate for almost a year now and can only says it's great. There are only 2 ingredients and it's low calories. What more do you want from chocolate! I've tried every flavor and strength plus the Nibblelitos (bite size pieces that melt in your mouth). My favorite is the 72% strength in any flavor. That being said, their Columbia Limited Edition was fantastic. BTW, by switching to this chocolate and making some other life style changes, I've lost about 12 pounds. I do eat a piece of Nibble 5 out of 7 days/week because I am a chocoholic. I don't understand the other reviewer's comments about the chocolate being bad. I bought their chocolates at the Little Italy farmer's market. They were very nice and let me and my daughter sample several different types (or origins). We are both chocolate snobs, and find most dark chocolate to be too sweet or taste of cocoa butter and emulsifiers. We bought the little four pack "flight." The chocolate is very high quality, with a glossy luster, and tastes very smooth and rich. I really hope this little local business does well. They are nice people and their chocolate is really high quality. (BTW, the pictures that someone posted below looks like pictures of chocolate that was left somewhere warm and melted. I think they've opened up a shop in Old Town San Diego. I am so grateful because I was getting migraines from lack of caffeine with the coffee shops around here having no plant based milk.
