    Tres leches latte
    Armine H.

We had such a great experience here! The tres leches latte was absolutely delicious and one of the best specialty lattes I've had. We also ordered the eggs Benedict and the avocado, turkey, and egg sandwich--both were amazing. The house-made bread deserves a special mention: perfectly crunchy on the outside, soft and fluffy on the inside, and incredibly fresh. The café has a lovely atmosphere with both indoor and outdoor seating, making it a great spot to relax. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and attentive throughout our visit. We can't wait to come back and try more from the menu!

Delicious pastry's with a nice cup of coffee, chill atmosphere and very friendly service. I indulged in desserts and coffee my friend had a beer, you can have both here.

Came here for a quick snack, and had the fruitella crepe and the rib breakfast hash. The hash was pretty good, I like the flavors, the dish is colorful, and the beef was soft. I wish there was a bit more avocado and less potato. The fruitella crepe was also pretty good. Not too sweet, it's a good mix of nutella, different fruits, and whipped cream. The crepe has a soft but firm texture that held together. The set up inside and the outdoor seating area is nice and a small reminder of European cafes, and the service was solid as well.

    * catching up on old backlogged drafts so this review may be a bit out of date I was staying at a hotel nearby so I popped over for a quick bite to eat. The cafe is very cute with big open windows making it feel like a nice indoor outdoor space with the beautiful San Diego weather. There was no one there really on a weekday afternoon. I got a honey lavender latte and a sandwich to eat in the cafe and some macarons for later. The sandwich was a big portion and delicious and the latte SOO GOOD. The macarons were just okay. Cute and inviting decor and friendly staff!

Walked here to grab some coffee & croissant. While the location itself is convenient along the bsy, it's definitely a very touristy spot. Walking in, we were barely greeted with a friendly hello. The young woman taking our order didn't give off a hospitable spirit. Definitely felt like she was just a "worker" doing what she had to do. The Americano I ordered was average. Croissant was not as flaky as one would expect from a "French" bakery. It did have a rich butter taste, but that's it. Also, it would have been a nicer experience if we had the option to have our coffees served in mugs instead of paper cups AND if our croissants were served on a plate instead of the ugly red and white checkered paper boat-type container. There are some tables and chairs outside in the front which add to the "French" feel, but the lack of warm hospitality and paper cups & containers fell flat. There are some missed opportunities here. Overall, an average rating.

Great service! Feels like I'm in a cafe in France! Ambiance is great too! Not too noisy and lots of seating. I love the music as it is super calming. I got the L'alsacien and it was super good. The eggs were so fresh and I especially loved it paired with the guacamole and the sauce. It was so buttery and delicious! My mom got the printaniere crepe. She told me it was tasty and fresh with a good amount of fruit. It also wasn't too thin. The serving size was just right for both dishes. Overall, we're definitely coming back and really enjoyed our food!

A visit to San Diego would not be complete without Parfait Paris! Our hotel this time was located just about a mile away, but it made for a nice morning walk from Little Italy to the Gaslamp Quarter. The daughter was so excited to see the Dubai Pain Swiss and Matcha Latte on the menu. I chose my favorite Almost Croissant with a much-needed cup of Americano. It was all so, so yummy and satisfying! The place is still quite charming with a variety of plants everywhere, decorative items on shelves and wall decor reflecting the San Diego area. We're already looking forward to next time. :)

Service was really awesome. I got there like 10 minutes till closing. She still served me and gave me drinks. I give it a three stars for the desserts it was OK not the best I've had but still good if you're craving something late. Cute café/bakery. Wish I had time to get a latte because they had a really nice looking espresso machine. When I come back here, maybe maybe not but I really appreciate the great service

The food was great. My son and I came in and had dessert and drinks and it was a wonderful time. We're both working remote so it made so much sense to work outside the home for the day and I'm glad we chose this place. I'm Covid cautious so tend to prefer places with outdoor patio spaces and this was great! Not only did it have a patio space, but the window/walls open up so there was a lovely breeze and air flow throughout the entire establishment. I really loved that. The service was fine, but it was strange that the barista input the numbers on the bathroom door for us instead of giving them for us to do, especially when she didn't wash her hands after. But other than that, it was great.

I don't even know where to start... Parfait Paris completely stole my heart. From the moment I walked in, I felt like I had been transported straight to Paris. The atmosphere, the energy, even the warmth from the staff -- and I swear the owner's accent just made the whole experience even more magical -- everything about this place is just chef's kiss. Now let's talk about the FOOD. I had a chipotle chicken crêpe that was unreal -- perfectly balanced, flavorful, and so satisfying. Then came the pastries... I tried the most incredible apple croissant-style bread (I don't even know what to call it, just know it was AMAZING), and the macarons were soft, fresh, and full of flavor. And the lavender honey latte?? Oh my God. I'm still thinking about it. Literally one of the best drinks I've ever had. Every single thing I tried was a 10/10. Not one miss. But honestly, it's more than just the food -- it's the experience. It's cozy, beautiful, and just feels special. If I lived in San Diego, I would be here every single day without question. I'm officially in love with Parfait Paris.

A gem in Coronado Parfait Paris - Coronado Ferry Landing This was my first visit to Parfait Paris, and from the moment I walked in I was greeted with warm hospitality. The staff was kind, patient, and helpful in explaining their offerings and provided thoughtful recommendations, which made me feel instantly welcome. I tried the traditional vanilla crème brûlée, a hot honey lavender latte, and picked up a croissant to enjoy later. The crème brûlée was sublime--creamy and delicately sweet, with the perfect crack of caramelized sugar on top. The latte was absolutely exquisite, the honey and lavender balancing beautifully with the espresso. As for the croissant, it looks deliciously flaky and generously sized--I can't wait to indulge in it. Overall, this was a wonderful first experience, and I'm already looking forward to my next visit. Parfait Paris is a gem at the Ferry Landing--highly recommended!

We came for coffee and dessert. We ordered coffee, sea salt Carmel latte, crème brûlée and chocolate cake. I'm not too impressed with the latte, very bland and no espresso taste. The chocolate cake was good but not $13 good. Crème brûlée was average. Overall, it's not worth the price.

Today I'm trying the chicken hayashi, so yesterday I seen this dish a friend had and I opted not to try it but I found this Japanese establishment highly recommended so I decided to give it a try to tonight. So you opt to have this entree with an omelet but I opted not to do the omelet on it and went with the traditional dish. This dish was very savory, and I love that the chef did not over season this dish and allowed for the savory sauce to do all the speaking!!! I love that the onions were cooked down to perfection with added mushrooms that weren't too over spread, and the Katsu was cooked to perfection very crispy and coating was very light. The rice was delicious and perfectly cooked. The orders are prepared to order and so delicious that I'll definitely be back. This is my first experience of the Katsu Hayashi curry and it did not disappoint!!!! Chefs kiss Hidden secret!!!! I'm telling!!!!! There is a bar hidden behind the wall as soon as you enter this establishment to the right, which looks amazing and no one would have ever thought it. It opens up when you tell the front counter that you have reservations or if you want to chill at the bar top. My eyes popped out of my head with this hidden bar as it is amazingly laid out with a unique Japanese style. I love that whoever designed this area and also decorated it, went for Japanese style and nailed it head on. It feels very exclusive and looks to be like a VIP section for the elite but has a super chill atmosphere. This bar has bar top seating as well as an open dining area and to the back a private room as well. This is definitely a hidden gem I also love on the other side of the café, they have the gaga room which is a room for pairing sake. How amazing is that!! that the owner of this establishment thought of everything? This establishment is definitely a treasure and I'm not sure why it has taken me this long to find it!!! lol nonetheless no gatekeeping here!!!! The word is out now and I'm definitely coming back and I highly recommend checking them out as I'm sure that you'll have an experience definitely worth it!! As always you can thank me later

The almond croissant was nice and flaky yet still buttery inside, and the almond filling was lovely. They had so many other options that looked incredible, in particular if I came back I would definitely want to try the vegan kouign amann. For this experience I'd give them 3-4 stars. I came here on Labor Day around 11am. There was…read morealready a line out the door and a crowd of people inside. There were only three workers plus I believe the owner in the back. There was a sign on the door asking to keep it closed for the AC, but it kept being propped open. When we came up to the front, it was chaotic. I understand a rush can come suddenly and all, but I'm not sure how long the milks remained sitting on the bar. I would say after you're no longer using it - it should go back into the fridge. By the time we ordered they ran out of their Banana special pastries and several other pastry options. Even the dessert case was minimal. They didn't have banana cold foam or chocolate cold foam either. I ended up not buying any pastries and ordering an Iced Orange Blossom & Apricot Latte with Whole Milk. I don't mind if it takes a while to make the drink as long as the quality is there. It was very milky and the orange blossom portion tasted straight up artificial -- like an extract or something. Initially, I thought it would be like an orange blossom honey. But I don't think it was. And the apricot purée at the bottom looked beautiful, but the texture of it was not good. I tasted "dried" bits and also the skin of the apricot. It was gritty and overall, not very nice in the mouth. I think if they were to make this into a jam or blend the apricots sans skin, it would be better. Couldn't really taste espresso, not worth the money. This next part is just a note for customers, they have a section that states "empty plates." Something I kept noticing was that people stacked their trash on the plates as well-- this limited the ability for the workers to nicely stack them to bring it to the back to wash. There's a trash can inside the patisserie, and it's not that difficult to throw your napkins, straws, and utensils away. In addition, another note would be that perhaps they can add a little square dish for the stacked paper cups to rest upon. That way the last cup, whose rim is touching the metal counter, doesn't come in contact with the trash can lid. This would be so it's kept at an elevated area! Overall, today was very chaotic. Despite that the workers were actually very kind and working hard! They remembered names and had great manners. They didn't seem to be frustrated towards us, just a little overwhelmed. The owner came from the back to help clean up tables and then bring pastries and drinks out. Which was very kind of him! They have a handful of seating inside and a good amount outside as well. I hope they can work out having enough pastries to last before closing. I have came here before and been to a few of their farmers market stalls, they do great pastries! Today was just a bit of a miss. I'll come back on another day for sure. I still want to give that banana cold foam on a latte a try, perhaps I'll request less milk. The pastry that interested me was the Banana Salted Caramel Crookie, for the textures & the combination sounded really good!

One of the cutest touches is being able to actually watch the bakers rolling out fresh dough and crafting pastries right before your eyes. The smell of rich espresso and buttery pastry crust filling the air is irresistible. I grabbed a coffee and a fresh pastry, waited a short bit for a table on the patio, and pulled out my journal.
