After visits, I receive compliments on my hairstyle and /or color. Cons: Around late morning to early afternoon, parking gets to be a challenge. The salon is in a shopping center that has shops and restaurants including an IHOP. I have been going to Curlie Girlz Rock for years and I'll go through a period of doing flat twists for warm months and then switch to silk presses for the fall/winter. On Sat Nov 23, I had an appointment with Naeema for a color touch up and silk press. Since it was a busy Saturday, I expected a long wait. She began my service within 10 minutes of my arrival. Her ability to manage multiple clients with ease is another plus. My wash , color and conditioning went smoothly. And during my drying, she suggested a trim. Which I expected since I hadn't had a trim in a while. My press and trim and style was skillfully done. My color is a rich light-medium brown auburn which, I love. Also, I asked Naeema about maintaining my press because I am an active runner. And I took her advice of high ponytails and cool air drying after my long runs and it's quite effective. I am pleased with my experience and will continue going to Curlie Girlz Rock.

And it's an hour past now! & got the audacity to charge deposits! FOH! I absolutely paid my deposit. I absolutely arrived when I should have. And I absolutely ended up in perimeter mall rush hour traffic for no reason and had to cancel my photoshoot also for no reason. You'll remember that deposit when that chargeback hits. You are both unprofessional and a liar. Good riddance. Glad I didnt let you put all those bad vibes in my head.

Sharing the experience that my daughter recently had:…read more She was so excited to try this hairstylist for a Crochet hairstyle, only to be sorely disappointed after having spent much money and and time for a sloppy outcome. Having previously had her first Crochet hairstyle done this summer so lovely with precision care & attention on internship in Silver Spring MD, by a stylist at a pretty reasonable price, with a great finish that she was loved; my daughter could not believe how awful this experience and crochet turnout ended up! She sent me video of her finished hair style as she sat in her car in the parking lot. Then called to tell me how it sorely missed her expectations. I tried to to comfort her. But after she sent me pictures and more video the next morning; I had to agree spending $135 and leaving the stylist with damp hair she should contact the stylist Ashley and inform her that the style did not look anything as she hoped, that there were gaps and visible scalp and the invisible knots were showing all over! After a half-hearted attempt to fix it, my daughter took the crochet out on the 6th day.
