I've used Allen's Plumbing on a number of homes in Orange County from Vacation rentals that I manage to my own home and have even just called for some pointers on some do-it-yourself projects. Nick is the best. He knows his stuff, he's honest and he'll let you know what the best solution is for you and your plumbing/disaster issues. The two things I care about when looking for any contractor is quality of work and honesty/reliability. I give Allen's Plumbing 5 STARS for both. This guy is solid. Nick and his crew were great! We discovered a slab leak in our garage and he was able to come out right away. He talked me through options, pricing and what insurance would and wouldn't pay for. You could tell right away he was knowledgeable and experienced in this issue. We ended up deciding to go with a whole house re-piping, as most of people in RSM need. They did the whole job in 2 days including patching all the walls and ceilings matching the texture exactly. You can't even tell they were there. They were fast, clean and friendly. I would definitely call Nick again if I need any plumbing fixed and would recommend him to all my friends. We called Allen's plumbing when we had a weird smell coming from our guest shower and our toilets wouldn't flush. Nick made our problem his priority and was able to snake our toilet so it could flush and our shower stopped smelling. Then a few weeks later our garbage disposal wouldn't work. He came over and fixed that for us. I've since then had him come over to put in a new kitchen sink faucet. Im happy to call Nick my plumber and refer him to anyone I know. Not only does he fix any problems in a timely affordable manner, he leaves the area cleaner than it was and he's a genuinely nice guy that I trust my home with. We recently contacted Nick because our home warranty company sent us a plumber that had no idea how to fix our plumbing issue. The plumber who was assigned to us by the home warranty company (not Nick) spent an hour at our house trying to fix the issue, left the home in worse condition than when he got there and then gave up saying that the issue we had would cost close to $1K to fix. I called Nick for a second opinion. He came to my house quickly, fixed the issue within minutes and did it all for a very fair cost that was a fraction of what the previous plumber quoted. I found Nick on Yelp and called him up to evaluate my 12 year old water heater which had developed a leak. I'm generally wary of plumbers, but immediately liked Nick. He told me that he could probably fix the leak but that I would be investing in something that was not going to last much longer, which is what I suspected. I thought I would have to schedule to have a new water heater installed the following week, but to my surprise he jumped right on it and was done in about 3 hours. He removed the old one and disposed of it and installed a new one. Extremely professional job, looks good and a reasonable price. Nick is now my plumber of choice. read more

I own a hair salon in town and had some sinks back up. I called another local company that wouldn't snake the line and wanted to perform a much more invasive and expensive service. I called Allen's and he came by within the hour to check it out. Nick was super helpful and took the time to explain all my options. Great, trustworthy, local, and CLEAN plumbing company!!! Im a mother of two young children, so having someone in the house is always a little annoying. It doesn't get better than Nick. I had a severe pipe break under a concrete slab just outside my house, cutting off my home's water supply. I called Nick, and he found a way to get here the same day. After some short diagnosing, he knew exactly what needed to be done and let me know in a clear, unconfusing manner. We purchased and remodeled a home in San Clemente a few months ago. We didn't know the deck drains were clogged w mud/roots, etc. Until we started taking water in to our house from heavy rains. Nick and team fit me in the same day amidst their busy schedule from all the weather. They fixed the problem and saved me thousands of dollars. I had Nick come out to do a Hyrdo-Jetting of our main sewer line, due to roots. That was 5 months ago, well all of a sudden the line is backed up again....instead of saying "no warranty", or "not my problem"....Nick came out again did a camera of line and saw the roots had returned and did another Hydro-jetting of the line.....thanks for the followup and for standing behind what you did/do. A friend of mine referred Nick when my kitchen faucet wouldn't run hot water. I called nick and he said he could come out in a few hours, and there was a good chance I would need A new faucet.
