It's so nice to find a local pizza joint that cares about its customers. I stopped in on a rainy afternoon to get some plain pie as that's what we were craving, and it didn't disappoint. It was thin, greasy, cheesy, and lovely!! They have all sorts of slice options at the counter and obviously a lot of regulars as I could tell by the conversations going on around me. But, what really warmed my heart, was a little old lady sitting in the booth with her heavier coat on and the staff making sure she was comfortable and bringing her hot soup to warm her up. It was so touching to see and made me love this place even more! I cannot speak to the other foods but we'll definitely be back to give them another try for pasta and that hot soup! I have two coworkers who come here for lunch every Thursday. They have been coming here for years. So a few of us decided to come here this week for lunch. It's not too far from the office. The pizza was very very good. They also have a lunch special of two slices and a fountain soda for $5.99. I enjoyed my lunch and will absolutely go back again! read more

It pains me to write this review because I've been ordering from Nick & Joe's for years but tonight I had a really terrible experience. I ordered a calzone with ham, sauce on the side. What I got was a calzone with 4 tiny slices of ham (left side only) and no sauce on the side. I was told the sauce was in the box (it wasn't) and the ham was indeed in there (they actually asked if I cut it open to see!) I get it, mistakes happen but it's how I was treated that got me. I don't always believe the customer is right however but being asked to return my good times get a new order to essentially 'prove' I wasn't lying was rude and just all in all bad business. If I hadn't had so many good experiences here, this review would be on single star. read more

Good neighborhood pizza that's as close to NY pizza as I have had in south Jersey. The restaurant offers eat in or take out Italian dishes and not just pizza. Not sure if it's Joe or Nick behind the counter taking orders or making pizzas but is always there when I go but he definitely has a commanding presence about him, a little intimidating at first (only because he looks so serious with no smile) but is very personable and warm when he starts talking. The pizzeria is in a small shopping plaza in Haddon Twp in the corner, with neon signage so you can't miss it. Enjoy the convenience of calling in an order and in a short drive can pick it up and be back home eating a great slice in minutes. I've only had the pizza but I've had it lots and lots of time and it is really tasty. read more

We come here almost every time we visit our family in Collingwood. A classic Italian pizzeria with really good pizza, great antipasto salad, one of my faves, and pretty good Philly steak sandwiches too( my husbands favorite). Great food, great prices, you can't go wrong! read more

Nick & joes....a little compassion would go a long way. Spent 88 dollars with a 7 dollar tip for delivery. My nephew likes the pizza here, so we ordered on a Sunday night. Well, we requested delivery, not the drivers fault. Order was miss packed. Soup came in on its side, soaked the bag and made a mess. So, I called, ask for 10 dollars cash, to compensate for my time and the cost of the bowl of soup. Talked to a manager on duty and she would not accommodate. She offered a credit for the soup on my next order. Why should I be forced to order there again in-order to get my value? What if I don't order for a long time, and then they don't honor it. I'm sorry not interested. They did say I can talk to the owner in the morning...I didn't know Nick and joes was hurting so bad that they can't afford to reimburse a customer for mishandled food. Lived in town 20 plus years. But no one cares about the individual anymore. And this organization is another example of such. If I do hear from them. I will update. But after I was dealt with on the phone by the management, I doubt they care. Not the delivery drivers fault. read more

The eggplant parm I ordered was full of seeds and inedible. I called the restaurant to see if they always have seeds in the meal and was told "yeah eggplants have seeds, so we don't remove them" - which we all know is not true, you're supposed to remove them as much as possible. Anyway, I asked if they would replace the meal for me since it was an $18 meal. She said yes but i would need to bring back my eggplant parm and also owe the extra $1.35 for chicken versus eggplant. I returned the whole meal (pasta and eggplant, not the garlic knots or salad as I had already eaten them). In return I was given a tin with one single piece of chicken, no pasta. So I ended up paying $19 for a side salad, garlic knots, and a single piece of chicken. Plus two drives over to pick up. I usually love this place but I will not be returning. read more

A hidden gem tucked away in a strip mall. This place has been around for about 30 years and for good reason. They make a fantastic thin crust pizza and all of their food selections, especially the pasta dishes, are outstanding. A winner for sure. read more

Food is okay, but twice I have been charged more than the menu price was. Once I had a coupon for a $8.99 large pizza, and I added extra cheese, which I expected to pay for. When I picked it up I was charged $14.99 and told it was for the extra cheese. $6? That isn't what the menu said. I didn't argue, I just paid it. Next I got a $8.99 plain pizza and was charged $10.01. That isn't $8.99 plus tax, it's more. I don't trust a business that doesn't honor it's coupons or overcharges, making no sense. I won't go there again, there is no shortage of pizzerias around Collingswood. read more

I'm not really into Pizza joints, but when I'm in the mood this is the place I prefer to call takeout from. My girlfriend and I actually just sat and ate there the other night, service was good, as was the food. It's a typical Pizza and Steak place, but the food is better than most, and they have many options including good pasta entrees. Unfortunately they do not deliver but it's worth the drive if your not too far away. read more

The owners who are frequently in are very nice and accommodating. The waitress Allison is wonderful and is a top quality server. The pizza, turnovers, and pasta dishes are delicious. They have mini sandwiches that come with fries and are only $5, great taste great deal! read more

This place has been a southern NJ favorite of mine for the past 20 years, but they've been around for 36 years. Whether I'm getting a cheesesteak, cheese fries, pizza turnovers, regular pizza, or panzerattis I'm always pleased. Classic NJ Italian eatery where you can't really go wrong. I live in Phoenix, AZ now and whenever I return home for the holidays, my brother and I make it a point to stop by for a lunch. Friendly service at a family run restaurant. I have 3 little nephew's whose birthdays all happen in March, and had to get a little creative since covid-19, so thought sending them their favorite pizza to have a pizza party on a Friday night seemed like the trick. Nick and Joe's is an ok place, but that's about it. The pizza is pretty bland and their cheese is just chewy, no flavor. I had a sicilian, which used to be good here, the other day and even with no toppings it was greasy. Sandwiches are ok, the marinara sauce tastes like it is crushed tomatoes an no seasoning. Other than those items I can't comment, but I wouldn't get my hopes up read more

Went here to grab a slice of pizza. As I watched the guy put peperoni on the pizza with his bare hands. I changed my mind as it is unsanitary. I then ordered a cheesesteak. The cook was cutting meat, took his gloves off, washed his hands and then grabbed the steak and raw onions with his bare hands. I then told them that he has to redo it and use gloves. What does he do, grabs the meat again with his bare hands. So I cancelled my order and got my money back. You cannot cook someone's food using your bare hands, it's totally unsanitary and against the food administrations regulations, but I guess that means nothing to this place. IF YOU WANT YOU FOOD SANITARY COOKED, ID SUGGEST NOT COMING HERE!!! My First and Last Time... If I could give no stars, I definitely would. read more

I ate there the other night, having ordered delivery once before. I ordered the spinach and cheese ravioli with marinara sauce and the garlic knots and my companion ordered the chicken cheesesteak wrap. We went there on Superbowl Sunday so the place was generally empty. My meal came with a small salad with iceberg lettuce (which i'm not a fan of), carrots, and other veggies. It was fresh and pretty good for what it was. The garlic knots were piping hot and just garlic-y enough. My ravioli was fantastic, nice and firm pasta, with excellent sauce (they make it fresh there!). My companion's wrap was HUGE! He added he broccoli rabe and that was a perfect touch. The flavors melded well and we were both pleased with our food. I believe the tab was about $25 with tip. Great place for delivery or eating there. read more

Ordered a large plain pizza for pick up. It was terrible, cold, burnt on the bottom, just really bad. Only giving 2 stars because have had a couple decent sit down pasta dinners in there. I like the garlic knots. They give you soup or salad (I've always chosen soup) and it's a whole bowl, not just a cup, although I really doubt it's homemade. Pasta portions are large, I always needed a take away box but I am not a huge eater. With so many pizza joints in the area I only see the advantage to come here because it's close to where I live and pass it on the way home from work. I'll reserve my final judgement till I order pizza and eat it in the place. I really hate it when it's burned on the bottom. In their defense they did tell me they are really a sit down place, hence no delivery. Meh. read more

Overall, I had a delightful meal and thought everything was priced perfectly (maybe a little bit more clam pasta).

Average decibel level was 85 through the course of our 90 minute stay. My ears felt raw once I got outside. Lastly, it's a mandatory (and complimentary) valet for parking. Just be prepared. If you like Italian, may be worth a shot. Folks were pleased with oysters and mashed potatoes at my table, but I have no desire to come back.

I strongly suggest that the restaurant cannot be trusted to know how to prepare their menu, nor can you expect to rely upon the good graces of the server. The manager was nowhere to be seen. I did not pay for my ill-prepared dish, nor was any apology issued. My suggestion is to avoid this pseudo fancy place and go get a decent hamburger elsewhere.

This has been a neighborhood hot spot for years- ever since I was in high school. For the life of me, I don't know how the place stays in business. The food is sub-par at best; the staff is rude; the place is dirty (I've found marijuana and cigarette butts in the mens room toilet); some of the help are illegal immigrants; and, to top it off, the old man who is the owner is r-u-d-e RUDE. He frequently curses at his own employees and even some of the customers. I had my fill yesterday when I complained about an order being messed up and he told me to go f--k myself and called my wife an effing moron. Had I realized that, I could've used a DoorDash coupon or ordered elsewhere. Instead, I spent $9.99 for a delivery fee, plus $2.99 service charge, tax, plus tip, and the order was essentially double the cost of takeout. It wasn't obvious that it was an outside partner until the tracking link was emailed. Plus the delivery driver made a stop along the way, so my food was lukewarm on arrival. Ugh. It also took an hour to be delivered compared to their website estimate of 25 minutes. Delivery aside, the food was pretty good. I really enjoyed my slice of cheese pizza - the sauce was perfect! The cheesesteak was also delightfully cheesy and cooked perfectly. I probably wouldn't order the tuna club again. I think I overcharged myself, as it didn't have a description so I couldn't figure out what came on it. As such, I added bacon and assumed it'd have cheese as the site referenced "substituting" cheese, so I didn't add that. Turns out - no cheese (so sad) and now bacon on two layers, so I assume they added extra. My mom had a cup of their chicken noodle soup, which she deemed "tasty." High praise from her.
