NEW FAVORITE SPOT! The pizza and fries are super crispy and fresh. The service is good and the people are really nice. The atmosphere is clean, organized and presentable. We've gone a few times and it's just overall a good spot to have a meal!

    White pizza

The people working here all always so kind, and they always understand when we need a menu or take a bit too long deciding. The pizza is always perfectly warm and their fries are amazing! I walk in and immediately get a cozy vibe with the music playing quietly and right against the window. Me and my friend come here a lot and it never disappoints us!

New road trip go-to when I'm passing through! Reasonably priced, huge, fresh, cheesy, can't go wrong.

I ordered just a regular plain cheese slice. " I would like just a plain slice, please." was the extent of the interaction. I.e. I was not being a jerk. This was the crap that they gave me .

Plain pie - a little overcooked for my liking but still damn good

It's so nice to find a local pizza joint that cares about its customers. I stopped in on a rainy afternoon to get some plain pie as that's what we were craving, and it didn't disappoint. It was thin, greasy, cheesy, and lovely!! They have all sorts of slice options at the counter and obviously a lot of regulars as I could tell by the conversations going on around me. But, what really warmed my heart, was a little old lady sitting in the booth with her heavier coat on and the staff making sure she was comfortable and bringing her hot soup to warm her up. It was so touching to see and made me love this place even more! I cannot speak to the other foods but we'll definitely be back to give them another try for pasta and that hot soup! The pizza is legit!

    Calzone 'with ham'.

It pains me to write this review because I've been ordering from Nick & Joe's for years but tonight I had a really terrible experience. I ordered a calzone with ham, sauce on the side. What I got was a calzone with 4 tiny slices of ham (left side only) and no sauce on the side. I was told the sauce was in the box (it wasn't) and the ham was indeed in there (they actually asked if I cut it open to see!) I get it, mistakes happen but it's how I was treated that got me. I don't always believe the customer is right however but being asked to return my good times get a new order to essentially 'prove' I wasn't lying was rude and just all in all bad business. If I hadn't had so many good experiences here, this review would be on single star.

    Nick & Joe's plain pie!

Living in Georgia good pizza is just good; whenever I visit family in south Jersey, I make it a point to get great pizza at Nick & Joe's. Last visit did not disappoint. Can't wait to go back.

The soaked through bag as evidence the soup was on it side when delivered.

Nick & joes....a little compassion would go a long way. Spent 88 dollars with a 7 dollar tip for delivery. My nephew likes the pizza here, so we ordered on a Sunday night. Well, we requested delivery, not the drivers fault. Order was miss packed. Soup came in on its side, soaked the bag and made a mess. So, I called, ask for 10 dollars cash, to compensate for my time and the cost of the bowl of soup. Talked to a manager on duty and she would not accommodate. She offered a credit for the soup on my next order. Why should I be forced to order there again in-order to get my value? What if I don't order for a long time, and then they don't honor it. I'm sorry not interested. They did say I can talk to the owner in the morning...I didn't know Nick and joes was hurting so bad that they can't afford to reimburse a customer for mishandled food. Lived in town 20 plus years. But no one cares about the individual anymore. And this organization is another example of such. If I do hear from them. I will update. But after I was dealt with on the phone by the management, I doubt they care. Not the delivery drivers fault.

The decor is cheesy Italian faux live walls and Italian music. We stayed with the fried mozzarella and the fried calamari with long hots (that weren't long hots) which was the recommendation of the waiter Lucas. The were good but extremely greasy. They were served on a paper doily that was fully saturated in grease. The flavor was good but the greasiness was off putting. We had two entrees the standard chicken Parmesan and a special which was clams and spaghetti with Calabrian chilis. The clams and spaghetti wasn't terrible but definitely not spicy as we had hoped. The chicken parm was non memorable pasta was cold and under sauced. We also had the broccoli rabe which was good . We wanted to try the tiramisu but they were out of the dessert. Small, quaint, authentic, family, quiet-ish, intimate, outstanding, I could probably keep going but let me get to the food. Not a ton of seating so I would highly recommend a reservation. The salad was amazing, dressing was creamy, egg based, and delicious. Omg, I'm still thinking about it. For entrees my wife had the Cheese Wheel, served table side, not just a fun novelty, it was excellent. I have never in 14 years seen her eat that much pasta and that fast. Our guests also ordered it as an app and raved about it. I had the pork chop entree, fantastic! The demi glace sauce with caramelized onions and panchetta, sweet carrots, creamy potatoes... so good. Our guests had seafood dishes that they said were so good as well. Dessert was delicious coffee and cappuccino with the ice box cake (yum) and an excellent Lemon cream cake (all made fresh daily). The service was top notch, all family, all friendly, all attentive. Prefect 40th birthday dinner for the wife. We will certainly be back. Check them out.

The bartender made really great drinks so we were very pleased while waiting for our table. Once seated we were provided with water almost immediately and our server arrived shortly after. We put in our drink and appetizer order and then the amazing bread with peppers arrived (complimentary) and we were like two kids in a candy shop. I don't know what they do to those peppers but they're delicious ... and pair perfectly with what I call their pizza bread. Appetizer and drinks were superb and after putting in our entree orders they were placed in front of us in under 20 minutes - fresh, hot and delicious! Neither of us could finish the entrees so we asked for to go containers ... and we certainly gobbled the leftovers up the following day. Oh and there's complimentary valet parking (just tip the valets) which makes for a stress free entrance and exit from the busy parking lot. It was almost empty, and it is a large facility. I ordered one of my favorite dishes..... pasta with clams (pasta vongole).. This simple dish sparkles when done right with fresh clams and broth tasting of the ocean. The food arrived, and it was a disgrace. The clams were so sandy that they crunched when chewed. The clams had not been cleaned at all. The broth was a gray, sandy puddle. The kitchen seemingly either did not know how to clean clams, or simply did not care. In short, the dish was inedible, and I returned it. I had lost my appetite, but it would have been nice if I was offered an alternative, or a palate cleanser. But the service was as inept as the kitchen. You cannot serve pasta with clams without a large spoon for the broth. In this case: no spoon. There should also be a small plate with hot pepper flakes to spice up the dish: no pepper flakes. The food and service were beyond inept. It was insulting. I strongly suggest that the restaurant cannot be trusted to know how to prepare their menu, nor can you expect to rely upon the good graces of the server. The manager was nowhere to be seen. I did not pay for my ill-prepared dish, nor was any apology issued. My suggestion is to avoid this pseudo fancy place and go get a decent hamburger elsewhere.
