Dedicated, supportive, conscientious and reliable. These are but a few adjectives to describe these two men. Nick and Mike are two of the most outstanding realtors in the foothill community. Without question, once you meet these "Two Hard Working Nice Dads" you will be in great hands. I have only the best to say about these two. When purchasing our first home, they went above and beyond what was expected. One year later after many hurdles to cross, they stayed in the race and we were able to purchase our beautiful home. I can't thank these two enough. Without their help and dedication, we would never have been able to do it. Thank you for helping a young family secure their future! read more

When my husband and I bought our condo twenty years ago, Nick and Mike helped us every step of the way-as first time buyers, we appreciated their expertise and help as we became homeowners. Thanks to Nick and Mike-the experience went smoothly and we were happy with our new home. Fast forward-to this summer when we sold my childhood home. Mike and Nick remembered us and came up with a plan of how to best sell the home. A lot has changed since we bought a house, but Mike and Nick were with us every step of the way- answering every question, addressing every concern, and making sure that everything was presented correctly to us and our buyer. The house was showcased digitally in an amazing manner, the open house was well attended, and Nick and Mike had an instant rapport with the buyer's agent. The offer process went smoothly as did every interaction between us and the buyer--and that is due to the professionalism and dedication--of Nick and Mike. The escrow of the house closed--and not only did we get above asking price--but, I feel they found the perfect people to live in the house I grew up in. Mike and Nick are the best local realtors in the area. I am beyond grateful to them. read more

We chose Nick and Mike because they have many years of experience in real estate and present themselves with professionalism and confidence in their work. We were concerned that our condo will not sell because of the age of the building and appearance. Also, we were not sure if the condo will sell quickly because of other condos for sale and being that we purchased another house already. Nick and Mike explained how the market trends are and suggested strategies and ways to list our property. They really pulled through for us. We received an offer within a month of listing. Nick and Mike informed us of any update on the sale of our property in a timely manner. When we contacted them for any questions, they responded efficiently with the information we needed from them. We believe because of their experience, our property sold above asking price and closed in a timely manner. They used their expertise from pricing, negotiating and closing escrow. They took the time to explain in detail their process and knowledge in the field from the time we met them when we were looking for an agent to the sale of the property. We will definitely recommend Nick and Mike. We are confident they will deliver quality service to our family and friends, as they have done for us. read more

I have enjoyed working with Nick and Mike for over 25 years. For me, they are family. Not only are they genuinely nice guys, but they are also highly professional and have a clear pulse on the market. This is very important because it sets realistic expectations and avoids surprises. They always did an outstanding job of following through and keeping me posted on the progress of each transaction. With my most recent transaction, they provided me with excellent contractors to prepare the property for sale. This saved me a lot of time, helped me quickly get the property on the market, and took all my stress away. I also received far more money for the property than I expected. I will only use Nick and Mike for my real estate needs. I highly recommend that you use them for yours. read more

My husband and I worked with Nick & Mike for the recent sale of our home. They were extremely professional and efficient. This was our first transaction as sellers and we felt comfortably walked through the whole process. We were concerned that it would be a complicated transaction, however they made it seem like a quick streamlined sale. All of our questions and concerns were always promptly addressed by Nick. We would definitely recommend Nick & Mike for their transparency, communication, and professionalism. read more

We've known Nick and Mike since they sold our mother's townhome and then found her a single-family home to purchase 25 years ago. They're more than "two hardworking nice dads," they're experts in the real estate market with the experience and temperament needed to make sure you get the best deal possible, whether selling or buying. So when our son and his wife started looking for a home, there were only two people we thought of--you got it, Nick and Mike. Thank goodness our son and daughter-in-law took our advice and contacted Nick and Mike. Their first home purchase proved challenging because of an uncooperative builder/seller, but Nick and Mike worked their magic and now they are proud homeowners. We highly recommend them! read more

We had no idea how much effort went into selling a home, and when it came to finding a Realtor, we were not sure how to proceed. Nick helped us focus on aspects that would generate interest from buyers, which was a huge help. Once we were on the market, everything was seamless, and our home sold in no time and for the full asking price. Highly recommended to anyone who wants their house sold right read more

In 1995 we were living in a townhouse. It was our first home. One day there was a knock on the door and two gentlemen introduced themselves as Nick Avedissian and Mike Derian, local Realtors who had formed a partnership. After a little chat, they left their business card and asked to be considered if we ever decided to sell. A few months later we did contact them, and they represented us in the selling of our home. They also worked long and hard with us to find a new home in La Crescenta, representing us as buyers. In November 2020 we made the decision to sell the house we bought in 1996. We had been there almost 25 years, raised our family and been part of the community. There were only two professionals that we wanted to handle that transaction, Nick and Mike. They are local residents who know the area, and as we told them "never really were out of our lives". They are active and generous to this community. We even ran into them around town through the years. Our third transaction with them was flawless. They anticipated every question we had, were available anytime we needed them and followed COVID protocol to make us feel safe. The house sold in a week, $80,000 over list price. We not only consider them our Realtors but also our friends. Thank you Nick and Mike! Ron and Dixie Kakebeen read more

In 2009, Nick and Mike got us into a great house during a very rough housing market. In 2023, they did it again, this time getting the house sold - during a rough housing market. Their experience really came through, then and now. Great service, amazing strategy, yet offering a very reasonable rate. Thanks guys! read more

Nick and Mike team was my agent for selling my rental property in La Crescenta in 2021. I highly recommend them! When I made a decision to sell my rental property, I did extensive research on agents who sold most properties in the area. Nick and Mike's record definitely stood out. I also interviewed a number of agents referred to me by friends. It was very clear that Nick and Mike had wealth of experience and have pulse on the current market, great communication skills, and network of contractors they work with to help me to present my property in the best possible form. Nick and Mike arranged the contractors so I could interview and get price quote for various repair work before putting the house on the market. They performed quality work with reasonable price and met deadline. This was during the Pandemic where it was extremely difficult to get any contractors to commit to work let along getting a reasonable price. Nick and Mike also made sure that I was happy with their work and they even reviewed the contractors' work themselves. We were able to meet our time line with the house in best shape. They also set the asking price at a strategic level and it attracted multiple offers and we were able to secure the best price higher than the asking amount. Nick and Mike patiently guided me through the escrow process until everything is finalized. They work as a team so it almost feels like you are getting two agents for one price. Very professional, friendly, reasonable! If you are considering selling or buying a property in La Crescenta, La Canada, or Glendale area, I strongly recommend that you include them as one of potential agents. My husband and I took time to screen and research the agents, and it really paid off. You need and deserve the professional service because your house is a big portion of your asset portfolio. Don't go with the fly by the night agent. Nick and Mike are truly nice people who are good at what they do. read more

Nick and Mike have helped me buy and sell homes. My most recent transaction was about three months ago. I can't speak highly enough about my experiences with both gentlemen. I never felt that they were just trying to sell or buy a home for me. They were there to answer all my questions and helped me make the best decisions for my family. It was clear from the start that they are both more service oriented rather than sales oriented. They have always answered every call or email no matter what time of day it was. They are both wonderful and easy to reach. A good team or agent can help you save time and money and can also liberate you from the anxiety and fatigue of buying or selling a home and Nick and Mike did just that. Both Nick and Mike have surpassed my expectations. I feel they are trustworthy agents. I thank Nick and Mike for everything they have done for me. I am extremely happy and grateful for their service. read more

I did quite a bit of research before I selected Nick and Mike to sell my beloved home. I discovered they had a lot of experience, were experts in the Glendale market, had great sales figures, and sold houses quickly. I also noted that they had been business partners for over 20 years, which told me they understood the value of teamwork, communication, loyalty, fairness, and respect, otherwise their work relationship would not have survived so long. My online search flagged Mike's attention and he immediately reached out to see how he could be of service. At that point, I decided to set up a consultation. They both worked around my schedule to meet up on a weekend evening. They arrived on time and came fully prepared. After that meeting, I knew I found my agents because they were able to put me at ease as we discussed the stressful topic of selling my home. They used language I could understand when explaining the paperwork and their confidence in the real estate transaction process inspired my confidence in them. Once I signed them as my agents, it was seamless and easy. They outlined a schedule for my approval and it all went according to their plan. They generated tremendous anticipation and buzz surrounding the listing of my house. The strategy they used resulted in 70 tours in 3 days and 25 offers by day 4. I only had to show my house one weekend! That many offers could have be overwhelming, but I didn't have to worry. They sorted them and highlighted the details of the top few. They also advised me on which one to accept, based on all relevant factors, not only price. Their vast experience has taught them what to look for in selecting an offer that will ultimately close. In addition, they successfully negotiated a counteroffer well above the initial offer and above asking price. Throughout my escrow, they took care of everything and touched base with me daily. They answered every call and text and seemed to work around the clock, 7 days a week. They were always available to answer my questions or attend an appointment. Due to a 90 year old record keeping error with the county, there were a few bumps along the way. Nick and Mike maneuvered me through all those challenges and I ended up closing the sale. I know, without a doubt, that if I had not chosen Nick and Mike, my house would still be for sale. Their initial recommendation of which buyers would be best to work with, along with their savvy navigation of each obstacle, are definitively the reasons my house sold, that it sold fast, and that I got a top of market price. I would never use any other agent in Los Angeles. Nick and Mike are reliable, ethical, knowledgeable and they get the job done. They are also very nice guys :) read more

Being first time home buyers is a huge and nerve-racking step, but Nick and the entire team helped us achieve our goal, answering our daily questions whether it was at night or on weekends, making sure our offer was the one that was accepted, and always went out of their way to put our needs first. We unfortunately dealt with an extremely difficult seller, dragging out our escrow much longer than anticipated, but Nick brought his experience and team to the table ensuring we ended up with the best loan rates, and making sure the sellers compensated us for the long wait. We would not have been able to purchase this amazing house within our budget, and cross off EVERYTHING on our must have list, without Nick and the amazing team at Nike & Mike Real Estate. This team gained our trust, and has made us life-long clients because they truly care and will do everything they can to exceed your needs. read more
