Wow the fries are absolutely the best! I've often discussed among my friends who's got the best fries: McDonald's, in n out, five guys, jack's curl fries, wingstop. But here enters Nick! Hot skinny fries that are flavored like five guys but without the excessive salt. Delicately fried but not soggy and limp like sometime at McDonald's. They're great with tops as they are as a side dish. I will say this past visit I used the sauces from the Korean restaurant and I turns out Greek+Korean cuisine needs to be a thing. Great place to go for a quick bite. The food is rather filling so def worth the price. It is a casual spot. I wish the steak was cut in small pieces. It was large cuts of meat and it was all piled in the beginning so the rest of it was just onions and sauce. The steak was a bit overcooked but overall a solid meal. I made it a meal that came with fries and a drink. The fries are thin and crispy which I really enjoyed. There are fries where you can add toppings such as the greek fries, I would try it next time. I liked the pork belly because it was cut thin and was filled throughout the bread. It was a bit oily making it messy to eat but overall the flavor was there. read more

My most recent visit, it was just around lunchtime and there was someone in the back who was making the food, but there was no front end staff so we stood there waiting for at least 5 minutes (which might not seem like a long time but can be very awkward in a walk-up counter style) The man in the back didn't come to say hi or take our order or let us know that someone would be right with us. When we did receive our food, it felt subpar. We also ordered the Greek donuts that you could tell were prepared hours ago and given to us. So dry and tasteless and not worth the price. First I'd like to give a shout out to Madeline. She's the sweetest most personable employee of any Nick the Greek. Customer service and rapport with customers SHOULD be #1. Unfortunately, it's not majority of the time. Madeline is one of the only reasons we still go to this location besides the fave meals. Good food but they're cheap with the tzatziki sauce like it is gold. First off, when someone spends $40-$50 asking 2-3 little cups of sauces and being charged .50-.75 cents is ridiculous..... every single location is like this and it's outrageous. My family and I (mom, nana, plus my 4 kids) spend $500-800 a month in total between concord, Clayton, and Brentwood locations. They know us, yet they still act greedy for the $1.50..... this isn't the way to keep customers. Especially ones who are loyal to the same locations. Just sad for a huge chain.... My kids get the steak and lamb beef but won't get a free tzatziki each to eat meat and pita... I personally get the Mediterranean bowl and I request to take 2-3 sauces OFF so to ask for 2-3 more sauces should be an even exchange.... but apparently that's outlandish to think of that way. ‍ Food is good. Wow! Amazingly hardy, delicious food. Their chicken and steak skewers are bomb especially when it's paired with their delicious mushrooms and zucchini. I never feel guilty when I eat here. Considering Nick the Greek is pretty much mediterranean fast food, they got everything on point! Workers were kind, the interior of the restaurant maintained its cleanliness throughout due to workers staying on top of cleaning duties, and the food was amazing. Ordered the Souvlaki plate with chicken and my partner got the gyro plate with chicken. We devoured our plates within minutes and felt amazing after! The food wasn't too heavy and portions were up to par. It was a little on the pricier side so keep that in mind before visiting any Nick the Greek locations. They had a really good juice (I think it was pomegranate..?) that was right next to the soda machine and that was super refreshing. Will definitely be getting that drink again during my next visit. This spot is located in the Veranda so that's really the ONE downside to this location. The plaza is notorious for its horrible parking situation especially during weekends, so be mindful of the day you decide on visiting. We arrived on a Saturday afternoon and got really lucky we secured a parking spot. read more

While they've got a full menu of savory options, my family and I have mostly been loyal fans of their Greek yogurt--especially the chocolate-topped version. On our most recent visit, I tried the Dubai Chocolate flavor. I'll admit, it didn't quite look like the promo photo (I had to laugh--it was a little more whimpy than expected), but honestly? It was still delicious. Tangy, slightly sour, rich in flavor, and totally satisfying. This yogurt is my mom's favorite--she literally comes weekly just for it! (If you do sign up for the rewards program). Customer service was excellent. Anthony was warm and friendly, which always makes the visit even better. While I usually go straight for the yogurt, I've also had the chance to sample the hummus and pita (fresh and warm!) and the chicken salad--both really tasty. As we were walking up to look at the menus displayed on the TVs, the young lady working the register immediately acknowledged us, told us we can also grab a menu that's on the counter for a better view & that if we had any questions we can feel free to ask. She gave us such a smooth experience with ordering our food. About 10-15 minutes after ordering, she brought over our food to where we sat along with utensils, napkins, and condiments. Now to the food -- we ordered the Mediterranean bowl meal with chicken souvlaki. The meal came with a drink (of course) & a side of pita bread. The chicken was cooked to perfection; juicy & perfectly seasoned. They gave a generous amount of greens, garnishes, & rice in the bowl which were all so flavorful.
