This was my first time trying this place out. Service was great, also the vibe inside was nice, it was clean and very simple. The food... I'm not too sure what to think. It's kinda like a chipotle setup where you put what u want in your bowl, so it might be what I put in the bowl that doesn't mix well, idk it was my first time! But, it was pretty bland :/ I mixed things up in my bowl and I'm not getting too much flavor. It seems like it's healthy so yeah that's cool, but the flavor?. Idk where it's at. The chicken was the ONLY THING WITH SEASONING/flavor. I saw many good reviews so I will be trying it again, maybe with someone that knows what to put in the bowl, but this shit was nasty. Wanted to try a new place to eat so this was our first time trying out Gotta Eatta Pita. Ordered one chicken shawarma bowl, one chicken shawarma pita, one drink and one baklava. Person behind counter serving us was very nice but unfortunately spoke nor understood English. We ended up with two bowls (not the end of the world) but also got charged for two bowl box lunch combos which I tried to tell him we didn't want. Since communicating the issue was impossible we just took the loss and left. My wife loved her bowl, I thought the quality was ok. read more

My go to order is always the Chicken Shawarma Bowl although the Falafel Bowl is pretty tasty too. I love the couscous, the red cabbage, and especially the eggplant, all so tasty. The hummus and tahini add creaminess to the entire thing, and don't sleep on their spicy hummus which I enjoy a lot. It has a real kick, so beware. The portion is quite generous but also the price is a bit expensive - as of June 2025 it was about $18 after tax for a bowl. Service was fast. read more

Terrible. Started that the gentleman behind the counter could barely understand me. I told him that all I wanted was a pita sandwich plain with a little bit of hummus, tahini and hot sauce. He said ok, it'll be cheaper since I didn't add any toppings. Great! Sandwich was absolutely cold and swimming in sauce. Dripping all over the place. Took a few bites and threw it away. The service was fast and the serving sizes are very large. This was a good spot for a quick bite. For awareness- they don't have much seating and are generally geared for takeout. One thing I wish more Mediterranean spots generally had is slightly more protein-rich options for vegans (e.g. incorporating tofu) and/or baked falafel options. Avoid. Food portions are now twice as small. Shift leader "Yu" told me this is how they do things now when salad fillers are left out, except my salads were small too... I've been coming here nearly weekly for the past year, usually getting the schwarma bowls. They used to have generous portions, easily filling the bowl past the brim and into the plastic covering. Today, I ordered delivery of the same bowl I've been buying for the past year, and on receiving. I first thought the driver had eaten half of my food, but it had no evidence of tampering. I quickly took pictures, and then called the restaurant to ask for a supervisor. Someone named "Yu" came on the phone to inform me no supervisors were there, and then after I'd asked why the portions were dramatically less, he said the owner had told him to only put one scoop of protein into the bowl when salads couldn't be used as fillers. The problem.is, I DID order couscous couscous salad, and that was twice as small, and I also ordered hummus, and that was twice as small. So it wasn't just the chicken protein serving that was small. They had literally shrank every part of the bowl, to the point where I wouldn't have paid 18 bucks (23 dollars to have it delivered) had I known they were now shrinking portions sizes. read more

I'm a huge fan of Mediterranean foods and wanted to try this spot one day after studying. My first time here wasn't impressive to be honest. Service was kind of slow compared to other places I've been to and the workers weren't really friendly. Pricing was ~$2 more than other places I've had in the area, so that was disappointing. I ordered the falafel pita and did appreciate that it was packed, although the flavor wasn't that great (AKA not as much flavor as other spots). Love, love, loooove this place! I'm so bad when it comes to updating my reviews. But as I sit in my car inhaling these wonderful aromas of this delicious half-n-half pita bowl that I'm about to angrily scarf down once I get to the crib, I feel compelled to write this update right noooow. This is my go-to fast casual Greek/Mediterranean food spot. Everything about this place is awesome! The fact that you can customize your bowl or pita has always been my absolute favorite part. The ingredients are always fresher than life. And that hummus be hittin', son! They have some of the best hummus in the game and ya girl is highly, HIGHLY addicted to it. Portions sizes are always crazy huge! When you look at the bowl, it always appears to be madd small. But what people fail to see is that this bowl is hella DEEP. SO much damn food gets packed in there! I can probably count on one hand the number of times that I've been able to actually finish a bowl in one sitting. And I've coming here for literal years! The pita?! Yeah, I can scarf that whole thang down if I'm hangry enough. But that bowl will feed me twice and I absolutely love it! Plus, them leftovers sho' do be hittin' the next day too. The SERVICE has always been wonderful here! I'd say I order my food online about half of the time, and the other half of the time I just walk in (like I did today). Call me a weirdo, but I find enjoyment out of watching the staff prepare my food. Plus, it always smells so good (now). Gone are the days when this place used to smell like a sewer when I walked in. Shared a bowl for dinner ($14) and left quite impressed - we had the chicken & falafel with everything on it (just made it easier to order by having them add everything) - it was a VERY stuffed bowl and quite filling even for 2 people. It was very flavorful almost to the point of overwhelming, but having them add everything will do that. I liked the falafel (and normally find falafel quite meh). Service was very fast and friendly. Did I go on a bad day or do people just like barely seasoned messes? I ordered a chicken shawarma bowl online and got everything as is, nothing added or taken out. I should have taken a picture of the bowl but I was appalled by the mess I got. Everything was thrown in there without much care, the hummus (if you can call it that), was some sort of a liquidy concoction. That was probably the worst hummus I have ever had. There was something sharp that kept poking at the roof of my mouth, maybe it was the eggplant? It was an odd sensation, but I love eggplants so I shrugged it off at the time. The couscous was cooked well, everything else was mediocre at best and lacked seasoning. I took a packet of salt and added it to make everything more palatable. The only good thing is that it is super filling. I couldn't get myself to finish my bowl and composted the remainder. Good lord, why does this place get a 4 stars? read more

The customer service is amazing. The girl server was really sweet and left a thank you note on my package. But the food was not good at all! The pita was hard and stale. Salad was too salty. Updating my review over 9 years later! We moved closer to the area and tried this place again many years after our first visit. I'm sure my tastebuds have changed with age, as well as my preferences, but I have to say I was surpised at how much I enjoyed the pita and the bowl. My husband now regular gets take out here for our dinner. We always get the chicken with falafel and feta cheese added. The food is always fresh and I appreciate that I can get a relatively healthy meal that still satisfies. read more

Unsanitary. There was a long hair tangled in the first plate and then a piece of chicken sitting in the second vegetarian plate. I didn't see the hair til I got all the way home and opened it and almost started eating it. So they made me come all the way back to get a new one instead of refunding me. Once I got there there was no apology or mention of anything. They were also inspecting all the pitas as if something could be wrong with them before picking one out and giving it to me. The price increase over the years is getting ridiculous. I haven't been in a few months and a falafel bowl is now 15.99 compared to the 13.99 I use to pay. The quality of the food nor the portion size has not increased and they are putting the cost onto the consumer. After tax, my total was $17.34. This is just outrageous considering I received no drink or pita bread with my order. I will not be coming back here anytime soon. You can blame inflation all you want, but the food is not worth the price. Save your money and go somewhere else! read more

Wow I wasn't expecting this flavor bomb ! I got one chicken, one falafel pita thinking they would be Small. They were literally a whole pita pocket with the tip cut off so you could add stuff and fill it up. And fill it they did! Little chicken then some veg and tahini them more chicken;add tomatoes, eggplant then more chicken, then sauce n cheese than more chicken. Same which falafel , alternating it with various requested ingredients. Had to discard my white tee shirt prior to digging in for fear of spillage. Bae ate the falafel. We were totally satisfied and a hot mess after! Oh snap that's what the knife n fork were for! Was instantly greeted upon walking in and offered a sample pita and hummus. Mmmm! This employee was so friendly explaining the breakdown of how to order and what our options were. I think his name was Jhonas (or that could have been the person who rung us up). He said he used to eat here so much he decided he wanted a job here lol. We ordered the pita and a bowl- both half and half. Then chose all our toppings to fill the bowl. The half and half consists of half falafel and half chicken swarma on top of a bed of couscous. The toppings include cucumber & tomato toubulee salad, greens, Greek pickles (I passed on these), olive tapenade and a variety of sauces. I Topped with a hearty scoop of hummus and tzaki sauce and added some pita on the side for dipping. $26 and some change with a tip for that friendly service. I enjoyed their fountain soda choices as I had never seen selections such as blueberry soda pop and some other unique sodas. This falafel balls were small but oh my, so crispy and delicious! Next time I need to order a side of this. Everything was so balanced and tasted so fresh. My only critique would be I wish the pita bread was served warm. I will ask next time. I have been a frequent customer for quite a while. I appreciate how fast the process is, the freshness of the ingredients, and how simple it is. I always order the same thing - chicken shawarma bowl with couscous and no additional mix-ins. Lately, possibly because of COVID, because of inexperienced new hires, or because of possible change in management, the experience has been inconsistent. I have visited three times within the past month and each time it has been a different experience. The lady that served me provided the same portions that I am used to. The box was to the brim and had a good amount of each item. The next time I returned, I ordered it through the online website and they seemed to have skimped on the chicken shawarma, but it was still full. That's fine. The chicken was dry and hard, so I assumed maybe it was the bottom of the barrel. This last time (moments ago), I had a new person and he was extremely stingy. I barely got half a scoop of each item. The bowl, as you can see by the photo, is barely half full. Quite possibly, the employee might be new, but it would be nice if he could ask if I would like more, since $11.49 for half a bowl of food doesn't seem like a worthwhile deal, especially since it hasn't been like that historically. I understand that new hires may have to go through a learning curve, but it would be nice to have somebody follow them to ensure quality control. Lately it has been so haphazard that it's making me question whether I should return back. Especially with a chain, the experience should be good and consistent between location to location and experience to experience. read more
