It's been almost a year since I last tried Nick the Greek. Tonight I had almost the exact same thing as last time, a beef/lamb gyro and Greek fries. The gyro tasted better this time. The meat was flavorful and delicious, and the pita bread was just right. It's a huge gyro and very filling. A few things could be improved. The gyro had too much tzatziki sauce on it, just like last time. If I eat there again, I'll order it on the side. I requested and paid for extra cucumber (only $1.00), and they put five huge chunks of cucumber on it. I was expecting small pieces, like in a Greek salad. The Greek fries were scrumptious. I love the way they are topped with garlic, salt, and scallions. I'll probably go back once in a while since they are close to home, open late, and are reasonably priced. read more
