Had an issue with my bowl, and Gia was incredibly accommodating. She quickly offered a replacement bowl along with some extras on the side, which I really appreciated. She remade my order promptly and was very attentive throughout the process. I was especially impressed that she remembered all the details of my bowl without needing to write anything down. Where to begin? First off, I love the quality of food at Sweetgreens. It was super exciting when the Wraps were introduced to the menu. There has been a couple of instances where it's been super awkward interacting with team members. It was noticed that employees were not changing their gloves as frequent as would be expected. Staff use the same gloves to touch surfaces through out the work station then move right to handling food. One instance I asked that gloves be changed which caused a sense of unpleasantness from said staff member. Who then proceeded to make my wrap extra small. Another time, a Chicken Caesar Wrap was ordered where egg an bacon was added. This was very troubling as it was not noticed until after a few bites were taken. I've not eaten pork in many years. Unfortunately, there is no way of contacting a manager by phone. I went in to speak someone in person who was kind enough to remake the order. Last night, I went in for a Caesar Wrap and tried to request changing of gloves in a discreet way. Somehow there was a confusion which confused the request as an Allergy? A couple of staff members spoke amongst themselves which was pretty awkward. It was requested that gloves be changed that seems to be a trigger? The lady continued making the order then stopped to check me out. To much dismay, immediately began rolling the wrap together. By this point, It was too much. I ate the inside of the wrap only. It's a huge shame but moving forward I'll only order food which is minimally touched by employees. This will spare the ordeal of asking that gloves be changed? First off, I love me a healthy colorful salad. Something about salads make me feel good VS eating a pizza/ hamburger + fries. And while I just found out that the Chicken Parm Bowl (which I loved) is still pretty high in sodium, it's still a better choice than a fried food alternative. Here's my take: CHICKEN PESTO PARM BOWL- Antibiotic-free roasted chicken, spicy broccoli, tomatoes, shaved parmesan, garlic breadcrumbs, golden quinoa, organic baby spinach, Sweetgreen hot sauce and pesto vinaigrette: In one word, this was delicious. From the roasted broccoli, the plentiful baby spinach and kale ,(I asked for this to be added in. The worker subbed half of the spinach for kale instead.) -- I absolutely loved this. I've never had their pesto vinaigrette + sweet green hot sauce as dressing but this hit the spot. I can see why this bowl is one of their most popular menu items. I would get this again in a heartbeat. My only wish is that they had more grilled chicken. Other than that, no other complaints. The apples were the best part of the salad, but it needed more. There wasn't enough chicken, either. The pickled onions, which I usually love at other restaurants, were too tart. As I was in the area, we decided to grab lunch here at Sweet Greens. However, I must admit that I was quite disappointed with my experience. I ordered their hot honey chicken salad, expecting a delightful and unique dish. But it tasted just like the chicken shawarma from Trader Joe's. I make this once a month at home for way less than here. The steak salad portion size was also disappointing, with only five tiny pieces of overcooked meat. He skimped entirely on my chicken my kale (I had to ask for more since he barely filled to the line in the bowl), he skipped over my fourth free topping and went straight to the dressings , and gave me wild rice instead of white-- not to mention it was HARD! I also said medium green goddess and he practically drenched my salad and didn't bother to ask if I want my salad mixed or not. They were out of hard boiled egg too. Not sure if I came on an off day, but my bowl lacked flavor and didn't satisfy me. For the price, I was expecting better quality from sweetgreens. The protein was decent but wasn't juicy as I hoped for. I built my own salad and although they do offer various ingredients, I didn't see the hype of this place. Some ingredients are charged at an extra cost and some stations limited you to a select number of items. My friend ordered one of the seasonal bowls which was a good concept. We would have never thought to add some ingredients together so it's nice that they have set options for customers as well. I was so surprised and happy to see that a new sweetgreen opened in Campbell! Recently visited during lunch and ordered their seasonal autumn harvest bowl (to-go) and was impressed by how quickly they fulfilled online orders - we arrived about 10 minutes before our pickup time, and both my order and my coworker's were already ready to go. Ingredients here were fresh, flavorful, and well-balanced - I highly recommend trying their seasonal bowls and dishes if you can. My usual go-to's are their shroomami and crispy rice bowls, but the autumn harvest might be a new favorite. I also noticed they just added a ranchy baddie bowl which sounds so good (blackened chicken, crispy onion, green goddess sauce?!) - can't wait to try it next. Not quite ripe, which made them tough to enjoy (and let's be honest, when you're expecting that flavorful bite, it's a letdown). Went in for the first time and was happy they had both calorie and protein metrics on the menu. Sitting seems very limited here. I ordered the garlic steak bowl and thoroughly enjoyed the portions, flavors, freshness, balance of cold and hot vegetables, and the dressing/sauce that comes with it. I thought it was quite a hefty bowl, and didn't think I'd be able to finish it all - but it was too delicious to stop eating! Also, that pickled ketchup is a game changer! I've eaten here several times in the past few months. This past week was my last time. A few weeks ago my rice was undercooked or old and hard. I powered through it unable to return. Then last week my rice was inedibly hard so I did return and got a replacement. The replacement was also full of hard rice. They also have been skimping on the non lettuce/rice veggies, and the meat is chewy and dry. I'm done. The bowls don't justify their price, the food quality is low compared to other restaurant close by, and I have a feeling if I continue to give them chances I'll just end up with food poisoning. I had perused the menu online before going and the Super Green Goddess salad (and another) are only available online for some reason so I ordered when I got there. My friend ordered her salad at the counter and the worker was a bit rude and just seemed very unhappy to be working. The service is kind of slow since they only had one person on the line for a while. Once they got to you, they were friendly enough. The problem is the food (and the flies). Everything is bland and dry. Everything. The lettuce, the rice, the quinoa, the salmon. Even the blue cheese was flavorless. They might as well blend it together into a smoothie because everything tastes the same. The biggest disappointment was the cold, dry and bland salmon with not a speck of miso glaze. The steak was fresh of the grill but was pretty tasteless. Oh did i mention you're going to be batting away flies throughout your meal? Please take this feedback and fix it. My first time trying this place after a quick workout I was pleasantly surprised. The miso salmon was so delicious I ended up eating the entire bowl. Although I did pick up my order no one had acknowledged me walking in or grabbing my order, which is kinda interesting considering anyone could grab any order. For $20 a plate, it was a really small bowl (super shallow), with a small piece of salmon, half an avocado, some cucumbers, and rice. The taste was fine, but nothing special -- the salmon was cooked well but didn't taste any miso at all. The rice was a tad overcooked but otherwise fine. All in all, it wasn't the most impactful nor filling meal I could have for $20. And with Mendocino right next door, I get way more bang for my buck going there. Since it was my first time in and I was pretty hungry, I decided to go with one of their traditional bowls before going the byo route, I also didn't know they did byo until I got up to order and saw the sign on the glass by the lettuce. But, next time! I went with the Chicken Pesto Parm bowl to go, got my sauces on the side so it wouldn't get soggy on my way home. I liked the flavor of the broccoli and pesto, they helped pull the dish together. I would probably swap out the grilled chicken for one with a little more flavor next time. The portion was nice, it didn't leave me feeling full, but also didn't leave me hungry, I feel like there could've been some more chicken though. Service was super friendly and I liked that you could follow along as they made the bowl. Seeing the price after tax + tip, I don't totally feel like I got what I paid for. I easily could've made the same thing at home for a fraction of the cost, but the convenience of not having to get all the ingredients was nice. These salad bowl placed are popping up everywhere (see Bountiful Bowls on Brokaw). I appreciate the healthy and hearty options, particularly when you are running errands. Though they average $16 per plate, they are large portions. I tried their seasonal harvest bowl which had their blackened chicken (a bit dry), sweet potato, and rice. I chose their white rice because I was sharing with my kid and didn't think he would eat their wild rice. I wish they had brown rice because we eat it regularly. I loved the sweet and spicy mustard sauce that went with it. My husband had the chicken avocado ranch and it oddly had chopped apple. I take it is their sweet green brand but it was weird. The crunched up tortilla chips were stale so he wasn't a fan of that. We went in on a Saturday around 6 and didn't have to wait long. The service was nice and prompt. It is sort of like Chipotle where you either chose a meal or build your own bowl. They do have a kids menu but I didn't order from it. Unless you have a hungry kid, I suggest sharing. Lastly, I appreciate how their bowls and utensils are compostable. They have lots of seating outside which is family friendly. The bowls are delicious, tough they come with a price tag of around 15 bucks each. Not bad really, the quality of the food justifies the cost. Some may say their portions are a little on the smaller side, but I didn't seem to mind. Also try some of their hot sauce on your bowl if you're into a spicy kick. So the food was great, but the experience with the staff left me with mixed feelings. Despite their friendliness, there seemed to be a lack of focus. During my initial visit, there was no greeting, the process wasn't explained, creating somewhat of an awkward atmosphere. However the food was still good. On my second visit, every table was dirty inside. They had more than sufficient staff to clean it up, but no one did. Yet the food was still good. Overall, Sweetgreen shows promise as a go-to spot for a quick, healthy lunch. However, some improvements in staff training and overall organization are needed.
