Nick the Greek is easily one of my favorite spots when I'm craving Greek food. The portions are really generous, and everything tastes super fresh. I ordered the gyro and it was packed with flavorful meat, crisp veggies, and creamy tzatziki sauce. The fries were also amazing--perfectly seasoned and crispy. This was actually a Uber Eats delivery order so I can't comment on the actual place or the staff. However the food was delivered quickly and was well packaged. They had a BOGO offer on the gyro pita so we ordered two of them and a small Greek salad. The meat in the pita was pretty good and it was flavorful and tender. The pita itself was weirdly mushy but not bad. The salad was let down. The produce was devoid of flavor and the shredded cheese was tasteless and very stingy. This was, without a doubt, the worst customer service experience I have ever had at a restaurant. I work in the pizza industry myself, so I understand how important it is to treat customers with respect and professionalism. That's exactly why this experience was so shocking. I placed an order, but it was prepared incorrectly. When I politely tried to explain that what I received was not what I had ordered, I wasn't trying to argue--I simply wanted the mistake corrected. The young employee who initially took my order seemed sincere, and I was being patient with him because mistakes happen. However, before we could even have a normal conversation, a woman came out from the back and immediately became aggressive. Without listening to what had happened, she told us to get out of the store. She claimed we had no right to speak to the young employee in that tone, which was completely false. At no point did we raise our voices, insult him, or behave disrespectfully. We were simply explaining that our order was wrong. What made this even more unacceptable was that the restaurant had made the mistake, yet instead of apologizing or offering to replace the incorrect order, this woman chose to escalate the situation and throw paying customers out of the store. That is not customer service--it is completely unprofessional and unacceptable. We didn't argue because we were short on time, but that should not be mistaken for acceptance of how we were treated. To the owner: if you care about your business and your reputation, I strongly recommend that you speak with the woman who handled this situation. Unfortunately, I didn't have the chance to get her name, but her behavior was rude, hostile, and completely inappropriate. Employees in customer service should know how to de-escalate situations, listen to customers, and resolve mistakes--not intimidate customers and force them to leave. I will not be returning after this experience, and I sincerely hope no other customer is treated the way we were. read more

Tonight my son went out to grab a couple orders of Nick's fries for us and I couldn't be more disappointed with what we got. First, the serving size has gone down by about 30% which in some ways I understand as costs have gone up considerably. However, the sauce, feta and protein of choice were nearly nonexistent on both orders. We also ordered and paid for two sides of the spicy yogurt sauce which is orange, we got two sides of mayonnaise which is white. It feels like the staff just paid zero attention or care for our order. I'm pretty bummed because we really love Nick's, but they aren't cheap and if the service and quality are this poor I can't justify going back. read more

Food: I ordered a chicken souvlaki plate and a frozen yogurt with baklava and honey for dinner. I was craving yogurt. I was so glad that I went to Nick the Greek (Bascom location) because the food especially the yogurt with baklava and honey did not disappoint!! Service: I was impressed with the service at this location. The food was not a long wait. The nice server first brought out my chicken souvlaki plate. He gave me the option if I wanted to have the yogurt then with my plate or to have it brought out later after I finished eating. Before I could even leave my chair to throw away my plate and ask for my yogurt, the server already brought out my yogurt! The server took my finished dinner plate as well. I was shocked (in a good way) because the service was excellent and very attentive (especially compared to other Nick the Greek locations I've been to). Service is quick and I've never had issues with my online orders. The website is easy to navigate. The tables are clean, beverage and napkin area aren't sticky or messy. Food is always good and servings are appropriate for the cost. Parking isn't hard but entering the exiting the plaza can be tricky due to the construction. read more
