From the very beginning, the manager was incredibly flexible and accommodating with our preferred date, time, and customized menu which made our planning process smooth and stress-free. I have been going to tomato time for very, very long time. John and holly serve excellent food, however A week ago we went to dinner there. I had the shrimp and crab Leouie. I had to complain about the shrimp bean old and the crab was to salty. It was not a good shrimp Salad. The shrimp was dry like Straw It was not fresh, The crab was too salty. It wasn't up to their quality of food, The waiter offered to take it off the bill. But I paid for it anyway I just said it wasn't tomato time quality So this week we went and I decided Have the pizza because it was always the best. However, this time it tasted like a frozen pizza crush was terrible, However, my wife food was excellent. She had the lemon rosemary chicken. My husband and I had dinner here with our toddler a couple of weeks ago. We've lived in the area our whole lives, but this was our first visit. The food was delicious, and the portions were a really good size, including the children's meal. I ordered a tequila-jalapeño pasta dish, although I can't remember the exact name, and really enjoyed it. Our toddler had the chicken tenders, which were juicy and perfectly breaded. Even the bread and butter were so good that I had to ask them not to bring more because I knew I would keep eating it! Tomato Thyme is solid dining option in the neighborhood. A cozy venue that always seems busy, so I was happy to catch a bar seat. My view was optimal for watching the chefs prepare dishes, which helped me choose... I had a side Caesar to start, and the Whiskey Glazed Salmon for the entree. The salmon was cooked perfect medium (I like it "wet" haha). All of the dishes coming out of the kitchen looked fantastic. If I still lived across the street, I'd visit more often. I love the food at Tomato Thyme. Tonight I had a Thai Steak Salad delivered for dinner and it was wonderful. The salad consisted of arugula, avocado, red onion, cucumbers, tomatoes, and asparagus. The avocado slices were huge and the asparagus was grilled perfectly. The salad came with sliced steak cooked medium rare, as requested. I would have liked a smidge more as the portion seemed small. The dressing was a delicious sesame-ginger vinaigrette. They give you two small containers, but I only needed one. Note: I recently had a Thai steak salad from another Willow Glen restaurant that was incredibly delicious, but they seem to have removed it from the menu. We came to tomato thyme for date night. It was our first time here. Laura was our waitress she was very friendly and welcoming, shared the food of the day deals. She checked on us just so warm and inviting. She brought us some complementary warmed bread with a side of butter We had the chicken fettuccine with broccoli beyond delicious. It's probably the best fettuccine I've ever had and I've been to a lot of places.. Hubby got the original calzone. I tried that as well very delicious very fresh and hot cooked to perfection. Visited around 4 PM on a Friday for a quick bite and a drink. We sat at the bar and decided to get a couple of drinks and the lobster ravioli. Unfortunately, we could see the kitchen and realized that the lobster ravioli was frozen. They were kind enough to split the portion for us, however, one of the raviolis on my plate was still cold/frozen and difficult to eat. I decided to let them know since it was six raviolis for $34. The bartender seemed really annoyed with my complaint. They did remake the portion and overall it was cooked slightly better. However, one of the raviolis was still cold and slightly frozen. We were dining with friends last Friday, and decided to introduce them to Tomato Thyme. Three of us had the special grilled salmon salad with grilled peaches, goat cheese and pistachios. I was actually surprised I hadn't reviewed Tomato Thyme, but then I realized that I hadn't been there in years. We want on a Friday night for a nice dinner after a work week. They had a summer menu of specials including the delicious Brussels sprouts dish and the prosciutto and pear pizza we ordered. Both were really delicious and fresh. I also got the blueberry mojito from the specials menu which was really good, though I made the mistake of drinking from the top and not from the straw at first, which meant it tasted much stronger on the first sip! We also got the beets salad that had a really delicious dressing. Service was really good. They were good at bringing the complimentary bread and then bringing more bread. They checked on us often to make sure that everything was okay. I will definitely go back sooner, we really enjoyed dinner! read more

Wow, great first visit! Based on the positive reviews, we went to check it out ourselves. Tomato Thyme did not disappoint. The cheese bread and my son's pizza were awesome! The bread (we were told is made fresh in house) made all the difference. I had a Caesar w/ salmon. The grilled salmon was perfectly prepared. My wife had pasta with vodka sauce, which she enjoyed. Birthday dinner time with friends. This is a go-to place for Italian for us. One guy always gets the lasagne; another, the clam dish. The ladies all got the beef stroganoff and loved it. I went back to tomato thyme for the first time in years a few months ago and was pleasantly surprised. The ambiance is cute, cozy, and casual. The service was great and our waitress was very friendly and attentive. I ordered the shrimp risotto and my friend got the chicken tequila fettuccini. Both very good and we enjoyed the dishes quite a bit. My only complaint is the portion was way too small for the price. I had been here many years ago, but just came back for a birthday dinner. They do not take reservations if under 6 people, but we were going on a Monday night, so thought it would likely be easy to get a table, and it was. They had cute large ornaments hanging from the ceiling with ribbon, and Christmas lights up to give the restaurant a festive atmosphere for Christmas. There was a line to get a table, which took a little while for some reason. Many tables for 2 are in a line, which I do not like. Then you feel like you are eating with the table next to you. We were able to get a table for 4 in the front, which worked out fine. We were starving. The table that was seated just before us had drinks, bread and a salad, and we were waiting quite a while for our bread, and only had water. So, some of the service up front could have been better, but once we got our food, it was delicious! I had the Sole Picatta, which was buttery soft, and melted in your mouth. It has a caper lemon beurre Blanc sauce & creamy parmesan risotto. Because I had eaten little all day, I was very hungry, and could have used a side of vegetables or something to fill me up more, as the risotto & sole were down the center of the plate with nothing else. It is a good enough portion if you like a light meal. I ate more of the bread, once we got it, to fill up. But my dish was delicious! My friend got the Warm Rigatoni & Spinach Salad. It was full of flavor & definitely something to try! It contains rigatoni, spinach, bacon, red pepper, onion, garlic, olive oil, gorgonzola cheese, & walnuts. It may not stand out on the menu, but definitely a great choice! Especially if you love bacon! The restaurant is in a strip mall with plenty of parking, near Dry Creek Grill. For a Monday night, it was fairly full. It looks like it is a local community hang-out, and you don't hear people talking about it much, but I think it deserves some notoriety for it's unique dishes full of flavor, and someplace different. My mother decided to have her birthday meal here and I'm a little surprised that each time I come, this place gets worse and worse. Order the muscles to start and normally these are very good, but this time they were a bit fishy and also sandy... didn't finish them. I ordered off the specials and had the Mahi Mahi. This had to be one of the most dry piece of fish i have ever had and completely lacked flavor. The butter garlic sauce wasn't any better as it was just butter, but it seemed unsalted so again, no flavor... VERY disappointing. We also had an order of fries to share and these came to the table lukewarm. It didn't seem that busy, but other tables were complaining at how long thins were taking, even just basic drink orders. I wont say the name of our server, but he might as well as been non-existent... never came by to ask how the meal was or even checked in on us.
