Tomato Thyme is solid dining option in the neighborhood. A cozy venue that always seems busy, so I was happy to catch a bar seat. My view was optimal for watching the chefs prepare dishes, which helped me choose... I had a side Caesar to start, and the Whiskey Glazed Salmon for the entree. The salmon was cooked perfect medium (I like it "wet" haha). All of the dishes coming out of the kitchen looked fantastic. If I still lived across the street, I'd visit more often. Bar service from Cameron was worthy!

I love the food at Tomato Thyme. Tonight I had a Thai Steak Salad delivered for dinner and it was wonderful. The salad consisted of arugula, avocado, red onion, cucumbers, tomatoes, and asparagus. The avocado slices were huge and the asparagus was grilled perfectly. The salad came with sliced steak cooked medium rare, as requested. I would have liked a smidge more as the portion seemed small. The dressing was a delicious sesame-ginger vinaigrette. They give you two small containers, but I only needed one. Note: I recently had a Thai steak salad from another Willow Glen restaurant that was incredibly delicious, but they seem to have removed it from the menu. I'm so glad I can still get one at Tomato Thyme.

We came to tomato thyme for date night. It was our first time here. Laura was our waitress she was very friendly and welcoming, shared the food of the day deals. She checked on us just so warm and inviting. She brought us some complementary warmed bread with a side of butter We had the chicken fettuccine with broccoli beyond delicious. It's probably the best fettuccine I've ever had and I've been to a lot of places.. Hubby got the original calzone. I tried that as well very delicious very fresh and hot cooked to perfection. The ambience here was very chill not too noisy. We will definitely come here again. This is a must try.

I was actually surprised I hadn't reviewed Tomato Thyme, but then I realized that I hadn't been there in years. We want on a Friday night for a nice dinner after a work week. They had a summer menu of specials including the delicious Brussels sprouts dish and the prosciutto and pear pizza we ordered. Both were really delicious and fresh. I also got the blueberry mojito from the specials menu which was really good, though I made the mistake of drinking from the top and not from the straw at first, which meant it tasted much stronger on the first sip! We also got the beets salad that had a really delicious dressing. Service was really good. They were good at bringing the complimentary bread and then bringing more bread. They checked on us often to make sure that everything was okay. I will definitely go back sooner, we really enjoyed dinner!

Good variety, tasty food and welcoming atmosphere make this a solid dinner choice. Parking lot was a bit busy (next door gym busy?) but we found a spot and were seated immediately. Service was attentive. Recommend!

Third time back in a month, i keep trying different items. Nothing from this place has disappointed at all, Maybe just the salmon dish For lunch, and the only reason was because I wanted more. Pizza is the best ive had so far in San jose and I only tasted the 5 cheese margarita pizza, the quality of dough can be enjoyed till the final bite the chefs definitely know what they're doing i always look at the bottom of my pizza to determine how clean their oven is. It's a definite pass. And the service is great. They're moving quickly and coming back to check if everything is going good with your meal clean place also even restrooms. can't wait to try the dinner menu. respect for Quality from someone who knows Quality.

I have been coming to Tomato Thyme at least 15 years it's such a beautiful restaurant. The service is always consistent and I always feel right at home . Tonight Ashton was our server he went above expectations for me since I am in the service industry . He greeted my table in a timely matter , brought my amazing raspberry lemon drop promptly. I appreciated that he took my daughter's order first and brought it out which was a chopped salad that she absolutely loves. I appreciate that this restaurant takes allergies very seriously as well. We will most definitely keep coming back .

SKIP IT. No pasta is made here. All store bought. Came in at noon on a Saturday and 100% empty. Took over 10 minutes to get some water or attention. Wanted to try the blood orange cosmopolitan. Just don't do it. Ordered the Chicken Fusilli but asked for angel hair. It came out as a soup. The chicken was freezer burned. No flavor. No fresh Parmesan. Returned it. Tried the crab sandwich. Don't do it. Best part is the French fries. Too much mayonnaise. Onions were two inches long. I felt too bad to return it again. One server was not nice and rolled her eyes more than once. The woman server with glasses was very nice and did most of the work. The reviews talked about bread with the meal, none.

Surprising lack of toppings on the cheese + two toppings pizza but the pesto chicken pizza was loaded. The pasta was only okay, but some in our group loved it. Again the meatball is terrific, but surprisingly they don't offer it as a topping on the pizza. Stromboli was the best I've had. They really filled it up unlike other Italian places. And the pizza was very tasty despite the lack of toppings. SERVICE: Wasn't well packaged. The pasta was so hot the plastic melted (made me a little worried). One pizza box was crushed (but thankfully the pizza was fine). But the portion sizes were very nice. COST: Very reasonable. Definitely affordable. Would give them another chance.

To be honest, when I opened the menu, I thought the price was a bit on the high side, and didn't expect to like it in the "worth it" scale. But hey, for a higher price, they better deliver on the food quality! It most certainly disappoint. The food was amazing. Got the Linguini Fruti Di Mare, the seafood was good quality, the cioppino sauce was intense. It truly is the boss of the sauce. Also ordered the Chicken Marsala, I'm always cautious before ordering because the marsala wine can easily become overwhelming, or the sauce is too sour, or the chicken is tough and dry. I did not hit any of those, but rather, what I got was a few silky smooth and tender pieces of flattened chicken breasts, that is moist and flavorful. The sauce is great too, not to mention the mushroom, that is so fresh and flavorful on its own. Last but not least, their attention to detail went all the way to mashed potato and steamed vegetables. It was truly one of the best. Did I mention the free, fresh baked foccacia? It's among the top 3 I've had in any restaurants, ever. At the end, even it pinches my wallet a bit, it was well worth it. Come hungry, leave happy!

Now I get why Sorelle has such a high score, and I'm happy that we finally gave it a try…read more It's situated in a small strip mall, parking is ok as we came at around 6:30pm on a week day night, there were still some spots available. Sorelle is a small restaurant, upon entering, it has a square room and you get to see everything at one glance. It's not fancy on decorations, more like a neighborly place and the customers look like so too, families and large groups on a random day, you don't need to dress up to eat in this place. The 2 page menu has appetizers, salad, pizza, pasta, and 3 entree dishes. Desserts are printed on a separate sheet, there are a variety of choices but a tad too expensive for my wallet. We ordered the Ravioli a la Teresa with cheese and pesto cream sauce, and their signature Sorelle Short Rib Bolognese. After ordering, we were given free bread for the table. The bread had herbs on top and the dipping sauce is olive oil with fried and then mashed soft garlic. The bread looked nothing special, but once I touched it, I was delighted to find out that they were warm and crusty on the outside but soft on the inside. It took a bit of wait for our food to came, I think it meant they were freshly cooked. The portions were big. Once laying down our food, the lady came with a big bowl of cheese and helped us sprinkle on top. It looks amazing with the cheese on top, like snow flakes melting on. I am so impressed with my short rib bolognese. The piece of short rib was sumptuous, a whole piece, resting on top of the pasta that is covered in meat sauce. The meat itself was so soft that it was super easy to tear off and just melts in my mouth. Flavorful and soft and juicy, super yummy! The pasta is cooked el dente, and each bite there's a bit of ground meat coated on the ziti pasta from the bolognese sauce. Very satisfying! I had a bite of the ravioli and these huge dumplings are covered in fresh pesto sauce and very cheesy inside. Although I was a bit confused on the difference between a pesto sauce and a pesto cream. I felt like the sauce was more pesto but we ordered pesto cream. Anyhow, it tasted good but I prefer my short rib bolognese more. Bus boy service is fast and responsive. We had a very enjoyable meal.

The flavors are 10 out of 10, fresh mozzarella, bright tomato sauce, and high-quality toppings. The pizza is always solid, the service has always been friendly, and the vibe at this Campbell location is so much better than the Mountain View one. It's one of those spots where you can relax, enjoy the energy around you, and have a consistently good time. That said, we decided to branch out and try a different appetizer since we've already tried most of the menu, and the octopus was a HUGE miss. It was $19 for one small tentacle, and for that price it just didn't feel worth it at all. Zazzle at Santana Row is also overpriced, but at least they give you way more octopus and a much bigger tentacle. Honestly, you could probably go to an Asian market, buy a whole octopus for around that price, and grill it yourself. The dish itself was also pretty mid. Not terrible, just not memorable and definitely not worth $19. It felt more like a $10 dish. The puree tasted almost like leftover soup carrot and tomato. So overall, I still really like this place and I'd absolutely come back for the pizza, the other appetizers, the ambience, the location, and the service. Just skip the octopus and stick with what they do best.

The carbonara was amazing--served super hot with great flavor and a solid amount of meat. Easily a 10/10. One tip though: eat it while it's hot, because once it cools down, it's not quite the same. The seafood pasta was also a standout. Everything tasted fresh, the flavors were on point, and it felt surprisingly light for a pasta dish. You know how pasta can sometimes feel heavy? This didn't have that at all. Another 10/10. The pesto pasta (a special that day) was just okay for me. It leaned a bit too oily, and the pesto flavor didn't really come through. They added ricotta, which kind of overpowered everything else. I did like the portion and the amount of meat, but overall I'd give it a 7/10. The ambiance was decent--nothing too special, but clean and comfortable. Service was excellent. It felt like a family-run place--three brothers along with their wives and kids--and everyone was super friendly and welcoming. They gave great recommendations and even helped accommodate my mom by seating us closer to the bathroom, which I really appreciated. Just a heads up: it's in downtown Los Gatos, so parking can be a bit tricky since there's no private lot. Overall, I'd definitely recommend this place. We were a bit early so not that many people here but later during the dinner there was more folks here. We ordered a caesar salad and calamari as our appetizers and we enjoyed them. Then to the man dishes. We had the lasagna and the special seafood dish that evening. The food was good but the pricing was a bit high on what I would normally accustomed too. We had a nice time there however I feel the ambiance needs to be updated and not have the old school feel.

Was taken by my boyfriend to this restaurant for valentines day and we got seated fast but the…read moreservice was trash.... The people in the back kept giving our food to the table next to us ... LUCKY us they ordered the same food we did smh so we never got our food till idk maybe I am exaggerating but what felt like after 15 to 20 mins later... so expensive just for that bs !!!! I would have thought they would have gave us a discount for the bulls*** we experienced the whole time we were there but nope ! $400+ for what we experienced was not worth it!!! NEVER AGAIN ! The steak had like a brown sauce on top and it tasted like ikea meatballs LOL!!! Super salty as well ! The wine was good and so was the dessert. I also forgot that we waited so long for our food because the same reason of them giving our food to people that came in waaaay after us ! We didnt leave the restaurant till close to 11:00pm !!!
