The added bonus was the atmosphere, service, food and fun of Coterie Kokomo is a mid-sized city about an hour north of Indy. The venue is a local favorite for music and great burgers. They did not disappoint this out of town visitor! The staff was welcoming. The menu, while limited, had a great variety of sandwiches and salads. I chose the Coterie burger which is served with fries. It was fire . The music venue is next door to the primary bar and is full service for food and drinks. This is one of my favorite places for craft cocktails because there's always something new to try. Their menu changes seasonally, so even if you've been before, you'll usually find new creations alongside their signature cocktails. The drinks are true works of art, both in flavor and presentation. On my most recent visit, I tried a cocktail off the Pride menu called the Stonewall, and it was absolutely delicious. It had a beautiful pink color, and I loved the glass it was served in. The presentation is always top notch. Service was good. The drink was also only $10, which is pretty cheap for the quality compared to other places. We didn't stay long this visit, but it's always one of my go to spots to relax, catch up with friends, and enjoy expertly crafted cocktails. Oyster was good, east coast briny does me right. Our Old Fashioneds were insanely expensive without offering any memorable flavors, balance seemed restrained neither giving a forward bite or a smooth sweetness. Strawberry Lemon sprits was similar, an overpriced kid's slushy. Asparagus was fine. Potato sides surprisingly flavorless, we all couldn't believe how dull the potatoes were. My sister's salmon looked half the size of Town and Gown's while costing fifty percent more and offering half the food. She did finish the ocean protein but left most of the rice. Thankfully the desserts were better, bread pudding somewhat dry and needing a sparkle of that smooth actual pudding but the winner was definitely the key lime. Rich and dense, dreamy and tangy, I got happy! Sure the atmosphere and staff is enjoyable, providing some fresh city vibes compared to the homely and old school Mountain Jacks. However Jacks and Mcgraws Steakhouse both do far better as culinary is concerned. Would be exciting to see this place fix up their inconsistency, out of touch pricing, or they'll be the next to go the way of Bowen Bistro during the next economic crash.

We enjoyed everything about this place, the feel, the look of the decor, as well as the service. Very very nice and we've eaten at a lot of restaurants all over the continent but this one takes it all. I've found that all states and countries have their own cuisine and way of fixing it but try to find a tenderloin , it doesn't exist in most places, even California doesn't know about it and here I thought they knew about everything. Trust me, if you want the experience we had you need not look any further but be sure to call in a reservation if there are more to your party and double check that you have reserved, that's always a good habit to acquire. As busy as this place gets you have no one to blame but yourself if you drop the ball, after all, what part of the word "Reserve" don't we all understand. And the food is really good - the pork tenderloin (brought down from sister bar Digby's was a "grown up" version with flavorful marinated meat encased in a nice breading that refused to crumble off, topped with a mustard sauce and house-made cucumber, onion and jalapeño pickles on a brioche bun that stood up to it all. It's not the tenderloin I had as a kid, but it's a delight for a grown-up. I really like this place, and so does my wife.
