I called…read moreDavid (or maybe I emailed him, I can't remember) and he had a time slot available the following week. He arrived right on time, and we immediately hit it off - even though he's 9 years younger than me, we talked about all kinds of things from our past that we both remembered. He's very personable and if you meet him and don't like him, I'd suggest there's something wrong with you :-) :-) Anyway, I figured I better let him get to work because we could have easily kept on talking for another half hour. He made our 2017 Corolla look (almost) brand new, revealing the sparkling part of Blizzard White Pearl (or whatever Toyota called this in 2017.) The very best part is that he was able to almost completely get out some abrasions and scuffs that I assumed would require repainting!!! These abrasions were on both sides of the car, and one of them was deep enough that I could feel it with my fingernail, which I assumed meant they were permanent. Well somehow he made even *that* spot look almost perfect! I had budgeted over $2,000 for body work! (Of course this is my fault for being ignorant - hopefully a body shop would have been honest enough to tell me that a good detailing job would suffice.) So what else can I say? I'm super pleased with the job he did. He's a great guy with great skills. He's timely, communicates well, no surprises (price was discussed right up front.) I asked him if he could clean the windshield of our old Suburban - I had tried multiple times and it looked like I was just moving all the gunk around the windshield and not actually removing it. He of course said yes, and only charged me a very small amount. Do I recommend David? Whole heartedly! Absolutely no reservations! David, I wish you all the best, and maybe we'll ask you to work on our 2001 Suburban (which hasn't ever been professionally detailed ever) - it would be great to see it looking nice again. I would attach a photo but it would just look like a nice white car, I doubt you could see the sparkly part.

This was the flagship tint and maintains maximum cool temperature of the interior. Although it is the priciest tint, we decided that it was like investing in a Yeti cooler vs. and off-brand. Buy once, cry once!! The workmanship of the tint was incredible. Everything was hand-cut (vs. machine) for a truly customized install. The interior does feel much cooler than before and even though we opted for the darkest tint (5%), we could still clearly see from the inside out just as easily as before. As soon as I did a search, it was now on my feed, different levels of protection, different places used different products and applications, it was confusing!?!?!? Eventually I came across Black Sheep Auto Detailing, they replied quickly, were very friendly and answered all my questions, what really set them apart was their 4.9 ratings with 290 reviews and a 4.7 average on Yelp. In this day and age that is not easy to accomplish. Then I decided I would visit their facility (funny thing is when I was a kid that building used to be an Ice Skating Ring), this is when I met Sunny. Sunny gave me a tour, showed me some cars and explained the process. He even offered after service to walk me through how to properly care for my car and go over all the do's and don'ts to ensure long term protection. To top it all off they use "Wax is Dead" ceramic coating (which is rated very high as well). I ended up taking advantage of a deal they were offering, which is extremely competitive. Actually, it is more than competitive when you factor in their reviews, top shelf product and a great staff (especially Sunny). Personally I went with the 10 year coating. This is the type of business that I will gladly and confidently refer my friends and family to!
