This is by far THE WORST experience I have ever had on YELP.\I decided to get PPF since I was planning on driving down socal to see my kid and wanted to. make sure that my car gets protection from bugs and rockchips on the road. Prior to hiring this guy "Matt: to work on my 2021 AMG GT 43, I read his review and also spoke to him over the phone. I also checked out his website www.justppfit.com (website looks professionally done) so based on my research, reading his reviews, the transparency of prices on his site and after speaking to him, I decided to go with him. During our conversation, he clarified his prices were accurate. So then we agreed on when I am dropping my car off, Then he states "I require a deposit of $280". He did not inform me PRIOR that the $280 is separate for detailing the car etc. I had already venmo'd him $280 so I could not back out. This was a RED FLAG already! I left my car to him on 8/8/2025 and by 8/11/2025, I texted him for update and he said my car was ready by 5pm; I ubered myself there and paid him cash for the full amount ($1950) for the entire hood PPF service. He did not provide me a receipt since his printer was not working. ANOTHER RED FLAG. Drove my car home and within days I hit the road and arrived in OC by 8:30AM; Parked my car and then I olled down my window, I looked at my driver side window and the film was popping in and out all of a sudden. I have had my car for 3 yrs and when I purchased my car, the tinted film was never like this. I am suspicious about him and likely he tampered with my tinted windows to get me to hire him for the replacement as we did discuss possibly replacing the entire tinted windows and possibly PPF the entire car. I was upset and messaged him about it. He did not reply and I will show everyone the text messages so that FUTURE customers can see and be warned how this scammer treats his customers. So I took the car back to him and when I returned a week back from my socal trip, I asked for a receipt from this transaction and he provided me a receipt copy. He trimmed the excess ppf film sticking out from my hood but when I asked him about my driver side window if he touched itm, he replied "No, I did not touch it" followed by a smirk and dupers delight smile. Quite odd. So then I took my other car, a toyota yaris to Eric Audio in South SJ to get checked, I forgot about Lam. He installed my tint windows on my Yaris and I told him about my Mercedes Benz, He asked me to bring my Benz to him and he fix and replaced my Driver side window tint FOR FREE! Thats how awesome Lam is. Lam checked out the PPF work this guy did to my car and said the work is "decent". He also pointed out the gap in the bumper and that's how I noticed it!n I texted Matt and asked him to fix it, No replies. I called his phone, he does not answer and its ringing to google voice number that screens calls. I messaged him few times and NO answer. This is how he treats his customers. Very professional. So Today, 10/25, I decided to show up to his shop in commercial street. I waited in front of his shop while I dialed my auto insurance and filed a claim to get my car fixed, Matt showed up at his shop close to noon and looked perplexed that I am there. Actually he seemed more annoyed that I am there. I asked him about the gap in my bumper and asked him to fix it, He says "I didn't do that, I didnt touch that". I told him he is the ONLY one who worked on my car.NOBODY Else. I recently bought a new Tesla model Y for my wife and wanted to make sure it got tinted like her previous car to protect her and our son from the California sun. I had also heard a good deal about PPF to protect the paint from rocks and road debris. Was referred to Matt by a friend who just got his Audi done. My friend is METICULOUS and CRITICAL of details when it comes to his vehicle. When we picked up his Audi from Matt, he was blown away. The OCD that my friend typically displays and the reaction that he had after the car was done (Full body PPF) was enough to bring in my new Model Y, as soon as we got it. Purchased a new blue Tesla MYP and was not sure about the ceramic coating and PPF options for protection. There are a number of companies out there doing PPF and offering ceramic coatings.. partial front, full front, or entire car. Matt at JUST PPF IT is the owner/operator and is skilled in the application process as well as being easy to talk to and explain the options as well as pointing out what paint correction is needed and what is not when applying PPF. My MYP came with some issues on the hood and passenger door. Tesla's best service window was 30 days after delivery to even look at it. Matt took a look and knew that it would disappear behind PPF.. He also invited me into his shop to look at work he was doing on another Tesla. I decided to go with Matt and get a full frontal PPF and ceramic package. The standard package Matt offered was $2700 for that. Made an appointment to bring the car in and then prior to bringing it in I changed my order to a full PPF installation. Matt was extremely easy to work with and I always felt informed of what was going on. His facility is first rate and my car was securely stored while the work was completed. Wrapping an entire car with PPF and ceramic package is indeed a big ordeal and takes some time to do right. Matt stands behind his work and even helped me cleanup some internal PPF which I applied myself but didn't quite get on correctly.
