Went for lunch today with seven of our lunch group. First time here for all of us. Quite a selection to choose from on the menu....fried food apparently their specialty. Two of us ordered the combo platter of 5 chicken wings (dry rubbed with lemon pepper seasoning chosen on both orders) and the gyro sandwich. $11.99 with drink. Two ordered the fish (tilapia) and chips and three ordered the Philly Cheese Steak sandwich. Both of us agreed the chicken wings were nice and crisp, done very well, but the lemon pepper dry rub was way too much. Very salty and lemon peppery. We liked them but wouldn't order again. They gyro was full of meat. I told them to leave the tomato off mine and the gyro had a lot of meat, homemade sauce and onions at the bottom of the meat. I liked the gyro but it seemed to be missing something. I'd order it again, but I like Pontiac Pizza's gyro a bit better. I tasted a bite of the fried tilapia and wasn't real impressed with it. My friend that ordered it said he would try something else next time. It seemed that the Philly Cheesesteak sandwich was the winner today. The cashier was very nice and friendly. Food came out quick and the restaurant was clean. I'd go back and probably try a shrimp po boy next time or the Philly Cheese steak. I'm going to give it four stars but really think it's more of a 3-4 rating. I doubt if my wife would like it due to most of the food being fried. read more

The gyro salads with extra meat are so good!! Heck...a gyro is good here. Ask for tzatzki instead of dressing. So are the Cuban sandwiches. The drive thru can get super crazy during lunch or late night dinner with the lines going out into the street. Its probably better to call in your order or go inside then wait in the drive thru line. So me and my husband ordered two fish dinners with two sweet teas at the drive through. I made sure to ask the guy on the mic how many pieces of fish does it come with HE STATED 3!!! So we get home and I open up mines and I only have two pieces of paper thin fish and my husband has 3 pieces of fish which are definitely meatier than mine. Not a fan of the pita. I think it's a wheat pita so kind of chalky. The sauce was just ok. Kind of bland. Needed more English cucumber and onion for some flavor. Overall not bad. But there was not a lot of meat in it. Kind of disappointed in that aspect. Felt like there was more pita than meat. The pita was also microwaved. The make a great gyro here. That's all I can testify to, but I'm guessing their seafood must be decent since there's a lot of options on the menu. It's not the most beautiful place, in fact you might be tempted to not get out of the car at all. I wasn't sure what to think, but they had quite a few people there close to 11pm. I liked that they browned up the Gyro meat on the grill and that the portions of meat on both were quite generous. Probably one of the best Gyros I've had, to include one I had on the Island of Rhodes. Will keep this place on our list of travel stops as we make this trip often. read more

This is my late night spot. It's usually pretty good. The best food you can get after hours. They also have such a variety it take some a minute to decide what I want. From seafood to burgers and salads they can satisfy whatever taste you have. I love their tzatziki sauce! I need at least 3 of them when I order a gyro or just the meat from it. The gyros there are made real good and their greek salad as well! We go to this particular Nick's weekly and haven't had a bad experience. So far we've tried - crab legs, scallops (big and sweet), oysters, shrimp, chicken Philly, wings, chicken gizzards and livers. Everything tasted really good and fresh, I was really surprised the seafood is so fresh. I do normally ask for no garlic butter with my crab legs, but that's just my preference. Also had the hamburger but the beef patty itself tasted stale/def frozen. Overall I really like the food and definitely recommend. read more
