The community that Nieblas Flower's supports, zip code 92154 has been hit hardest with COVID infections than any other area in the entire San Diego County and I'm sure they've supported many requests in helping families that have lost loved ones as we had. It was at my Aunt's services last Sunday that we noticed the beautiful floral arrangements and realized our oversight in failing to order flower arrangements for my father's services scheduled for the very next day! On a referral and a prayer we drove to Nieblas Flower's minutes before closing and requested floral arrangements that needed to be ready for pick up when they opened the next morning. I fully expected a reply of "WHAT? Are you crazy?!" or even "This last minute request will require someone to stay late tonight to make these (which it did) and you'll have pay an additional emergency request fee (which I was willing to pay), but received none of that. What I did receive were two beautiful created floral arrangements that were ready when I arrived when they opened shop the next morning, charged at their normal rates. This went far beyond supporting the community. This is a locally owned floral shop that went above and beyond in helping a grieving family in dire need. The gentleman who answered was very patient and answered all of my really silly questions (and I should know answers to the questions I asked) but he never judged. He was kind and gave me options. Their store is only a couple of blocks away from mine, so offered to deliver same day for an additional $7. :) I will keep that in mind. I arrived to pick up my order in about 15 minutes and he was almost done wrapping a beautiful bouquet of a dozen colorful roses. They had such a strong rose aroma! Long helpful review! It was my mom's birthday and I decided to get her flowers last minute. Oops! After searching for places on Yelp for hours, I decided to stop here because it was closer to me. I was bit skeptical because the reviews had no pictures. I had called beforehand to make sure they were open. The guy who answered was very helpful. (They close at 8 btw.) When I got there I browsed around and even though there were pretty arrangements on display, I decided to ask for a different arrangement. I showed the lady (most likely the owner) a picture of something I was looking for and if she could arrange something similar. Not only did she make it at my price range, she made it even better than I had imagined. That was the most beautiful flower arrangement I've ever gotten my mom. This has been my family's go to flower shop for over a decade. You won't find such beautiful or large arrangements anywhere else at the price you'll get from Niebla's. We use them for simple random times to major events like weddings, funerals, etc. It is a family run business. Maria, the owner, is so sweet and talented. You can bring her any pictures for inspiration and she will interpret and create something better than what you imagined. I would recommend this shop to anyone needing flowers for any and every occasion. The only complaint I have is the flower shop is located inside a shopping center that has a lot of traffic. There's a restaurant across from it so the parking situation isn't the best. As far as the quality of the product and service is concerned, they definitely get five stars! read more

I really wanted to love this flower shop. I was fully prepared to make it my new go-to place for all my floral needs. Sadly, I don't see that happening. I went in on Wednesday to order an arrangement to be ready for Friday, and I had actually been hoping for delivery, but apparently their radius is very limited. That was fine because I was able to make arrangements to have my brother pick them up, so it ended up not being too inconvenient. The gentleman I spoke to on Wednesday, and placed the order through, was very nice and helpful. He showed me some pictures on his phone to try to help me get an idea of what sort of arrangement I wanted. I really had no preference at all, with the exception that there needed to be no lilies or red roses, and I would like a few hydrangeas. Other than that, whatever they could dream up at my price point was fine. I guess it was a good thing after all that they couldn't deliver the arrangement, because when my brother went to pick it up there were lilies and red roses. He also said that initially they "couldn't find the order," so he thinks they just gave him one they already had made. He ended up asking them to remove the unwanted flowers, but they were kind of rude about. The final result ended up being really pretty, and my mom was happy about it (my brother said the first thing she commented on was how much she liked it because there were no lilies or red roses), but it took way too much to get to that point. I would be weary about ever going back there, and to be honest I doubt I ever will. Which is a shame because like I said, I wanted to love them. If I do go back, it'd likely just be for a pre-made arrangement, because their flowers really were beautiful. read more

I live two hours away and I spoke with Hector over the phone about what I needed and trusted they'd do a good job. I wasn't mistaken in doing so. I found out about the memorial service for my friend's brother the morning of. I am from out of state and contemplated ordering something online and hoped that it would get there in time. After reading the reviews I decided to wait and risk it (they opened only three hours before the memorial service) and give Nieblas a try. I'm glad I waited. I ordered a bouquet of flowers on a Thursday a week before my daughters wedding which was on a Friday at 12 pm. I was told it would be ready to pick up at 11 on the day of the wedding which gave me plenty of time. I was there at 11 and waited for 30 minutes and no one showed up or answered the phone. When I went back the next day to get my money back the owner talked so much crap how she wasn't going to refund me and if she did it wouldn't be the whole amount. I definitely will NEVER go to her place again and recommend no one else does either. Maybe if she would have owned up to her companies dropping the ball and my daughter having to settle for flowers from the grocery store I might have looked the other way. They put together a beautiful arrangement for me, texted me a picture of it, texted me when they got to my friends' house and no one was home, then asked if I wanted them to leave it at the door or come back later, and sent me a picture of the arrangement by her door so I would know they left it there. The worst customer service ever!!!' I come here regularly and the customer service is never that good but they get the job done. This time I came at 2 pm, asked if they had a big bouquet of flowers for 80 dlls? The lady that was making the bouquets said that if I wanted a bouquet that big it would take about 2 hours, which I understood, I paid upfront and was told to come back at 430. I came back at 510 to make sure it was ready, btw the parking lot is so small that is so hard to find a spot, there was people waiting in line, and others getting their bouquets and paying, I told a lady I was just picking up a bouquet that was paid, she did not know anything about it, so again she asked the lady that was making the bouquets and she said that she had not even started it, that she had it in mind, that if I wanted to wait or if I wanted a refund (but in a very rude manner) and of course I took the refund, they just made me waste my time and gas for nothing!!! Never ever coming back. I totally understand its valentines day and it was busy but if you cannot get the job done do not accept the money upfront, or give priority to the people that come first! read more
