Usually, for a late night place, my expectations are relatively low, but I was pleasantly surprised both times. Crust, sauce, and toppings have been great. Last night I ordered the supreme, and it was just what the doctor ordered. It's not the best pizza you'll ever have, but in this area, it's excellent. I'd order this all day/every day over most places around Kennesaw. If you order Domino's, Papa Johns, or other chains while this is an option, you're a fool. Wanted to open our vista on local pizza establishments other than Johnny's on Canton which has been sliding down. Did a search and Night Owl sounded interesting and a 10 minute drive (sadly no delivery). It was 6pm, only one employee which caused me to wonder. There is no ambiance it is a simple store front operation. We ordered 16" cheese with mushrooms and onions, Caesar salad, and their supposed stromboli. We were excited about eating from a new place. Sad to say it was all bland and lackluster. I counted 12 pieces of mushrooms and a few onions on the pizza. The major disappointment was the Stromboli. I judge a pizza place by their Stromboli and Calzones. YUK! It was all green peppers and onions and little pellets that were supposed to be sausage and 6 slices of poor quality pepperoni (no spices or flavor). Let me preface this review by stating it is only representative of pick-up/delivery! Located at the corner of Vaughn Road and 41, in the same shopping center that holds a liquor store, grilled cheese spot and a Taco Bell sits Night Owl Pizza. As mentioned at the start, I have never dined in here, but have gotten delivery on one occasion, as well as did pick up recently. In both of these situations, service was friendly and efficient. As one would imagine, we have sampled few pies, as well as starters...sadly, haven't ventured into desserts yet, but never say never! Our go to is always (2) pizzas - both medium, one pepperoni and the other cheese. I know what you are thinking "this guy is crazy!!", but in my defense, the classics are usually where it's at! In addition to the pies, we always saddle up with some cheese sticks or as they are referred to here, Cheese-X. The little bready sticks of cheese love are just that...doughy bread sticks rubbed with garlic butter and then topped with mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses. Throw a little marinara on the side and you officially have a party! As for the pizzas, they are New York style, which is not really your quintessential "thin" crust, but a variety of featuring a pliable, not crispy hand-tossed crust that is cut and served in a wider variety of slice. Personally, I am a bread dude, so New York style isn't my go to, but it is tasty. The pepperoni is always solid with the meat spread evenly across the pie which is lightly sauced and cooked well! The cheese pizza is the same. Even though it's only cheese, they don't over do the cheese or sauce. While these pizzas are pretty normal, they highlight the fact that the pizzas here are purist at heart. The ratio of toppings to sauce to bread is spot on. If pizza isn't your thing, first - weird, but secondly they have you covered. Night Owl offers salads, sandwiches, calzones and pastas. I haven't ever had any of the above listed, but I've seen the calzones live and in person and it looked fantastic! Overall, this is a pretty chill spot that is paying homage to the community where it all started. It's not the best pizza I have had, but it's pretty legit and I will certainly be back! read more

The pizza and price are 4 stars. The pizza was piping hot and it satisfied a basic cheese pizza craving. The crust/dough was really good taste wise and crust part had airy bubbles which made it perfectly crispy. The cheese and sauce are average but ok. It's nothing fancy but a true basic pizza. The pepperoni side of the pizza had a bit of an after taste - But overall ok. I would definitely try it again. I see why it's busy all the time due to pricing and pizza taste. I get the feeling that they're still trying to figure out what works for them, because they seem to be changing all the time. The interior, the staff, in the menu don't seem to have a lot of consistency over the time span that I've been there. I've only been here twice, but you can also tell by some of the pictures of the interior how much they've changed and they were entirely different both times I went. The first time I got a margarita pizza and cheesy garlic bread, and both were pretty good. The last time I went I got the Woodstock which is a vegetarian pizza and it came with a small side of garlic butter. This one wasn't quite as good because the only vegetables that had flavor were the yellow peppers and olives. The garlic butter was homemade, but that also meant that it was refrigerated solid butter when I got it so it made it hard to use it as a dip. I actually like their crust, but the toppings are kind of hit and miss. However I love their hours, so I'll probably be back late night at some point. So far it's not bad pizza, but I know places I can usually get a better one. read more

Surprised at all the negative reviews. We ordered delivery at normal dinner time and it was prompt and really good. Got NY style and a gluten free and both were very good. Loved their dipping sauce that came with the pizza. We will be ordering again. Glad to have an option that isn't one of the big chains that all taste the same. Sick with a side of fraud. "I understand we will refund your money" This is what I was told AFTER I was cursed by the manager, AFTER the food made me sick, AFTER I was given a butane lighter that had the same smell as the charred cheese on my food. I still don't have my money. Yes the Pictures are of my throwing around $80 of food delivery down my garbage disposal, so nobody else would be violently vomiting a day later. I called the night I got the delivery and asked if I could return the food for a refund, I was told they don't accept returns of food, to keep it, this is before the manager told me they don't get complains, then later said they get complains all the "g** d*** time".... So I threw it in the garbage disposal and took pictures, I told the management above them that, and despite being told I would be given a refund when they called me back later they demanded I give them the food they knew I trashed to get it, that their other manager had already told me I didn't need to give back. That is called FRAUD, I will be reporting them to the Cobb + State AG, as well as other agencies. If $80 worth of delivery literally being trashed down a garbage disposal isn't enough to ward you off this place, I don't know what to tell you. But I will add, soggy undercooked pizza, burnt Mozzerella sticks, Soggy "Chicken Parm" with cheap pasta on top.... All down the garbage disposal, and I am still vomiting. read more

So I've ate here for about 2 years and I order from here all the time. I ordered extra crispy wings tossed in buffalo with ranch , chicken tender meal tossed in buffalo with ranch, cheese bread, and two extra ranch's. they sent the wings just extra crispy no sauce on them, chicken tenders no sauce at all with honey mustard and no extra ranches (cheese bread was correct) I know what ur thinking that's not a big deal at all which your right it's not just either refund me or get me the right food. Well I called explained what happened the women on the phone was super nice she asked if I could send pictures which I did right away (they wouldn't go through in her phone) so I sent them to the "manager" well I'm on hold for a few minutes and the manager is super rude from the jump (I'm staying calm the whole time) he tells me ok "when a delivery driver comes back in I'll have them send buffalo on the side to your house" and I said nah I'm not doing that and his response was "why not you can just dip them it's the same thing" I'm like nah it's not ur tripping at this point so I tell him I just want a refund and he tells me "the guy that does refunds isn't here tonight" (if your a manager how do you not know how to do a refund Lmfao?) then he tells me he'll remake the food but "as long as nothing is missing from it" (like I was trying to scam them for free food or something) but I have to be the one to come get it at 1030 at night and he won't remake the cheese bread that's cold at this point. So we argued for a brief sec and I said I'll just talk to you when I get there. I get up there and one they weren't "slammed" (another reason he said he didn't wanna deliver it") and I asked for a refund and again he was rude from the Jump, had a slick ass attitude like I was inconveniencing him and being unreasonable, and still wouldn't give me a refund told me I'll have to come back tomorrow when the "refund manager" is there. I was nice the whole time because I'm not gonna get out of character over pizza it isnt that serious it's just the point that the employee or "manager" was an asshole for no reason I wouldn't recommend eating here if I was you prob worst customer service experience I've ever experienced and it's just a shame that's that how employees act when the owner isn't around. 0/10 experience very disappointing. To the owner of night owl if you see this and care about how your customers are treated comment under this so I can text or call you because I don't have the employees name but I have his number from when I had to send "food photos".
