I wanted to try something a little different today and ordered JJ'sPizzeria's chicken parmesan which I was extremely surprised of the flavor, it was quite tasty indeed! The place was packed during lunch which gives credence to the their great food and service. I have come to learn that some of the best tasting foods come from humble mom & pop places. I KNEW IT! When you're from NYC, you know! I knew from the smell! My husband and I went to the bank that is in the plaza and I told him I wanted a sausage parmigian. When we walked I could tell from the aroma and the look. Let me cut straight to it, the pizza is VERY good! The crust is thin and it melts in your mouth. If you prefer the babbling bread type pizzas like Domino's or Papa John's this is not for you. The sausage and peppers parmigiana was very tasty too. Really good mom and pop type spot with great pizza. The ricotta is by far the best I've had. They have an AYCE lunch special for $12 drink included. Im hooked. I began frequenting this establishment for lunch over the past four weeks or so. A great place to go for a quick and easy slice of pizza or two and a drink for lunch. For $10.99 you get as many slices of pizza (two at a time) and a drink. The selection of pizzas is decent and plenty for lunch. The quality of pizza is New York style that is reheated upon ordering. The taste and texture is good as can be expected from pizza that has been cooked and reheated. It is my guess that the when fresh, hot from the oven the first time, this is probably some of the best pizza in the Atlanta metropolitan area. If you can't eat more than one or two slices, not to worry, they charge you less than the $10.99. I give four stars for the service, most of the team is very friendly, the great lunch bargain, and the taste of the food. Minus one star because the pizza is reheated and not a tasty as it could be. You guys know my motto, keep it simple.I ordered two slices of peperoni pizza. When I arrived I went to ick up my pizza. In my opinion the pizza was a bit salty, I ordered two slices but only finished half of one. I didn't end up finishing the rest. Would I go back? Probably not. Today I got JJ's pizza for the first time and it was unfortunately a little disappointing. I got the pizza to go so I didn't get to experience the ambiance but while picking up the food I did get a decent vibe similar to one of a little hole in the wall pizzeria. This made me more excited as I've lived by the place for a while and have recently had some friends telling me to give it a try. The service was good and quick. It was takeout, but the pizzas were ready on-time (25 min for two pizzas) and everyone was nice and efficient. The pizza was a bit disappointing though. We got the Sicilian pizza with pepperoni and a 14 inch pizza with pepperoni. While the regular 14 inch wasn't anything special I wouldn't mind eating it again. On the other hand the Sicilian seemed like less toppings and a ton more cheese leading it to taste more like bread than pizza. For $36 for two pizzas I just wanted something more. Overall, JJ's certainly isn't a bad place. It's clean and the people are nice, but in my opinion the food just didn't live up to other local places and wasn't worth the price. read more

The white pizza is outstanding - amazing even. Salad lover? Well you're in luck! They make a phenomenal Greek, and if your salad love leans on the meatier side they have an amazing well proportioned antipasto. Their selection is broad when it comes to pizza and I'm a personal fan of the meatball parmigiana sandwich. My son almost becomes the Pavlovian dog at the mention of one of their calzones. So amorous is he that he always orders two because he finishes one at the restaurant table and saves the other for lunch the next day. For pizza purists the Margherita delivers both authenticity and flavour - the key is the sauce which, unlike many other pie places (especially the chains) isn't loaded with sugar. Sweet sauce? That should bring jail time! We like this place, more like love. Their staff is always kind to us and ready to be of service. It's popular with the takeout crowd too, and the delivery guy seems busy every time we're there. So, better order early! read more

I happened to see an ad on Instagram for this pizza delivery app called Slice. It came with a promo code for $7 off tour first order. I saw the pizza options and decided to give JJ's a try since it was close by. The app was easy to use. I ordered a large pepperoni pizza and add mushrooms, onions, and olives to one side for me. My son just likes a simple pepperoni pizza. I paid through the app. It said it would be an hour. An hour later my doorbell rang which is good. I was happy the delivery time was accurate. The driver told me there had been an accident with my order. They made the whole pizza with all the veggies. To compensate, he made me a small pepperoni pizza. How cool was that! I appreciated the issue being corrected and informing me. My son was happy to have his own pizza to himself. The pizza smelled good and looked pretty tasty. I liked that my veggies looked cook. Sometimes places deliver a pizza and the veggies look raw like thrown on after. I enjoyed my pizza as did my son. It was pretty good for a local pizza place. It passed the next day test as well. I found this place by looking it up and came because of the reviews. The food was so good and by far the best pizza I've had in a very long time in Georgia. They have really great lunch specials. I got 2 slices of pizza and a drink for $7.99 and 8 piece wings with fries for $9.99. And the wings came with a lot of celery which I loved. The food was EXTREMELY hot and fresh. The customer service was amazing! There was a woman who worked there that constantly kept checking on us and giving us anything that we needed and she was very friendly. We were in the area at lunch time and decided to try this place. It is what some would call a "hole in the wall," small and could use some updating, but it had a certain charm to it as well. For the all-you-can-eat lunch special, the pizzas were already prepared. You choose the slices you want, and they warm them up for you. Seemed unusual at first, but it was ready quickly, and it was really good, especially the stuffed pizza! The staff did a good job taking care of us. When the little claw machine didn't work for my daughter, the owner (I assume) took out his wallet and put a dollar into the machine. Good place. The food is tasty. It's not the absolute best pizza I've ever had, but it's pretty doggone good. Good-size slices, nice and thin as befits New York style pizza. The place is decorated up with lots of New York black-and-white pictures. It's not a huge restaurant; two center tables surrounded by booths. The workers are friendly guys who speak with their customers and run a good, friendly family business. The lunch all-you-can-eat special is pretty good; they warm up two slices of pizza at a time for you in the oven, and they come out tasting pretty doggone good. My son and I dined here with a close friend, we made it there around 9ish ( closes at 10am ). So we had very little time to eat, but no rush, they were pretty cool. My friend eat cheese pizza, while my son and I enjoy the white pizza with meat on it. The cook actually agreed to make 1/3 of my pizza white meat and the other part cheese, with red sauce, where they do that at???? THESE GUYS TOTALLY ROCK!!!!!!! Our pizza was great, the service was great as usual and price was just right. The owner was there and I must say ..... He is a gentleman. We will definitely visit this spot again. Lived in this area for 14 years and have never tried this place. I regret all those 14 years. I think it used to be called something else before it was changed to what it is now, but man this place is so good. I think what deterred me away from this place in the first place was the sign outside that said "lunch special $8.99 ALL YOU CAN EAT". When I think all you can eat pizza, I immediately think Cici's or Stevie B's; neither of which are good. You just can't expect much from a pizza Buffett. This place is different. It's a little mom and pop shop that has super personable and nice people that run the place. The pizza is good too. It's a thin style (half the thickness of your franchise pizzas) and pretty big size. I've only been here for the lunch special so I can't speak for the dinner, but I can bet that it'll be just as good if not better. If you've been on the fence like me, just go ahead and try it.
