Watermelon Sour
Madison N.

I love everything about Night Shift in Everett. Amazing vibes, great beers and sometimes live music! What can go wrong?! I'm a sour beer girly and the bartender told me this was one of his favorites on the menu. I loved his helpfulness and he was 100% right. DELICIOUS! My friend had a N/A drink, I love that they had some options for that. We sat outside that evening and it was a great time. People around us were fun and chatting. Babies and dogs were in the attendance and that's always fun. The only drawback is a small parking lot and minimal street parking. Might have to walk a little but that's the charm of the place.

A beautiful mediocrity. I did my research. I saw the beautiful outside, I know the brand name. Was excited about the outdoor area and arcade games. Actuality: - It was raining. That put a kaput on the outside area! - The closest door the the parking lot led us into a private party (a birthday for a one year old) AWKWARD - I love the painted outside of the building- looking for some funk on the inside. Disappointed. Mainly posters of their beers framed. - They did not have their AI beer on tap or in cans for sale - No arcade games! My 11 year old was super disappointed - No food/no food trucks (BOO!) - 2 guys up front one on the mic and one with a guitar playing hit songs from the 90's (me likey!) With everything posted above, it lead to a very quick stop at this location. There wasn't much us our our family.

We stopped by on a Saturday night, brought some takeout food, and had a nice chill night. We tried four different beers which were all great! Service was friendly and fast. They had a live band which was fun. The indoor space is very cute and there were plenty of spaces to sit. It looked like there was a small parking lot but plenty of spaces on the street, even though it was pretty busy inside. Overall it was great beer and a fun eclectic vibe! We will definitely be back!

Whirlpool, a very refreshing pale ale New England style!

Night Shift Brewing... definitely like the sound of this brewery and themes with the owl. Time and opportunity only allowed for us to try one beer here but I am grateful to have done the one. For this brewery we had the Whirlpool pale ale New England style. This light, fruity and citrusy beer was a fun one to have. Balanced with hops in a very appropriate way this beer proved to be very refreshing the day Steve sat down to enjoy it on a very toasty, warm day. Definitely a nice beer to cool off to.

Salsa Night

Didn't come here for a beer/drinks/food, but for salsa night haha! There was a live Latinx band which was amazing, people were dancing and it was fun- only thing I will say, if you come here during winter, this place is heated LOL so coming here in a sweater for salsa dancing was not ideal. They have some delicious smelling food here too- I LOVE arepas and these looked the real deal. I came here after dinner for dancing lol but otherwise I could've eaten a tonnnnn LOL based on how good it smelt (AREPAS= fave food in the world lol if you haven't tried already, you MUST). The place is really cute too hehe :)

Nightshift always delivers a good time. They recently turfed their outdoor patio so it's great for dogs. They usually have a food truck on rotation for an easy meal. And they have events almost every night of the week. Most importantly, they have a wide range of beers so there's something for everyone (even wine!)

Super cool place. I was surprised that they never got busy while we were there. I overheard a few people say that they were upset that there wasn't a food truck that night, so that may be the reason why it wasn't busy. Their atmosphere is super open and brewery-like. They make it very clear that they are inclusive and welcome all. I loved that. They have a wide variety of beer and all of them were good. I did a flight and got to try quite a few. Their Nite Lite was my fave. I also really love their Hoot seltzers.

Hanging out with my friend, anxiously awaiting my first meal in Boston.

A friend took me here for a late dinner after I arrived in Boston for the first time. Beer and food were both good - I got the roast beef ciabatta sandwich, fries, and the cherry cobbler. The cobbler was my favorite item I ordered. The atmosphere was also good. A large, lively venue that can accommodate a lot of people. If I lived in Boston, this would be a good place to come hang out with friends.

Flight - Nite Lite, Whirlpool, You Da Mom, Fluffier (ig: tmfoodies)

My first brewery experience! This place has such a chill atmosphere - plenty of seating indoor and outdoor, which is also dog friendly! I had someone help me pick out a flight based on my preferences which was super helpful because I'm pretty new to IPA's. We ended up going Nite Lite, Whirlpool, You Da Mom, and Fluffier. Whirlpool is one of their flagship drinks for a very good reason (it was the tastiest for me!). There are food trucks here every day, which is super nice to have something to munch on when you are here (Bonetown Burgers was there when I was here). There are also tons of board games to play but overall, really great drinks and a really chill atmosphere!

Patio seating

I had an awesome time at Night Shift. I reserved patio seating for a party of 5 at 12:15 p.m. and was allowed in a bit earlier. It was incredibly hot out so thankfully there were umbrellas at a lot of the tables. Night Shift is currently doing a QR menu that you can scan. Afterwards you text them your order and they do a contactless drop off. They were very good about bringing pitchers of water (and giving water to the dogs that were hanging around too). I ordered the Traffic Cone and Tea Party; both were on tap. A lot of their other beers are in cans only. I also got some pre-packaged Kalahari Jerky. This was a great experience that was both safe and sanitary!

It's a good hangout place with friends for Tuesday quiz contest. You can bring your own food. The beers are OKish. Nothing special.

Ask the Community - Night Shift Brewing

Can you bring outside food and snacks into the brewery if they are not from the food trucks there?

Yes! We allow you to bring your own food or order takeout to be delivered to the brewery.

If I've got a group of 8 friends meeting for a mini reunion, will we be able to sit together at 4 pm on Saturday for beers and yakking? Do I need some sort of a reservation?

It's first come first served if I'm not mistaking.

Is there parking?

Yes there's a private lot and free street parking

Are dogs allowed inside or just outside?

Just outside

Do you fill growlers that aren't branded by you?

Do they give sampler trays? How much does it cost approx?

The flights are $10! Pretty good too!

Now that MA joined the rest of the nation allowing outside growlers to be filled will Nightshift fill my insulated Klean Kanteen growler? I really am looking forward to less waste from a unique growler from each brewery.

I would expect the outdoor space would come in handy once the weather warms up. Conveniently located right off of Seaport Blvd. surrounded by some other good food and dessert options. Lots of parks in the area, including Fan Pier Park, which offers some spectaculay views of the Boston Skyline...particularly after dark. Metered Street Parking was actually manageable, especially in the later post 6-pm midweek hours in the Fort Hill Square Area. Meters are in effect through 8pm with a 2-hour maximum, so if you arrive after 6pm and feed the meter until 8pm, you are all set for the night! The South Station (Red) T Station is also nearby. Both options are a short walk to Fan Pier Park. There are also lots of garages available in the immediate area as well.

I got 5 oz pours of all of their IPA's and was in heaven. The Really Big Bird and Galaxy Cutting Ties were amongst my favorites. I wanted to try multiple stouts but unfortunately most of their pastry stouts were not on tap. They were only in 18.5-ounce bottles so I could only order one. I got the Macaroon Macaroon, which was a collab with Veil Brewing in Richmond VA (another phenomenal brewery that I have been to). It was dessert in a glass. I had the lady friend with me, or I would have opened and closed this place that or passed out in the corner. I was in heaven. She ordered some spinach and artichoke dip but I don't remember it. It was filler as far as I was concerned. This place isn't about the food; it's about their amazing beer.

I stopped into this place as there was room at the bar and other places seemed very busy, given that it was the weekend of the Boston Marathon. There was a QR system to order but halfway through the bartender asked me what I wanted so I placed an order that way. I ordered a glass of wine and a glass of water. The wine came but no water. The wine was served in a nice sized glass. I asked again for water and five minutes later it arrived. I ordered a Chicken Quesadilla....it was mighty mediocre. Not well presented either, but at least it was warm. When I wanted to leave, it took 10 minutes to get the bartender's attention (who always seemed to be doing something other than paying attention to the patrons.) If you are starving, and there are not other options, by all means, go here. But you might do better at a different restaurant.

The place has a really fun vibe -- coffee shop in the morning and brewery in the evening. The hostess was super friendly and got us seated in a nice dry spot in the back where we could admire all the brewing equipment. Live music started while we were there, adding more energy to the atmosphere. There's also an upstairs area that looked like a great place to hang out. The food looked fantastic, and my wife was especially excited to see they had a gluten-free dessert option. They offered a huge variety of freshly brewed beers -- IPAs, pilsners, sours -- something for everyone. They also had several non-alcoholic options, which was nice to see. I enjoyed a few half beers along with an order of guacamole, and my wife had the flourless chocolate cake for dessert. Everything was delicious.
