We went to the all you can eat Sunday dim sum brunch and it was a delight. And also a steal for only $32. There are no servers pushing carts here - you order small plates off of a menu. Each dish is the right size for 2-3 people to have a few bites. The crystal dumplings, duck egg rolls, steamed pork dumplings, and walnut creme dessert bao were perfection. The kung pao and cucumber salad had a strong and slightly weird maple syrup flavor, but were still pretty good, and beware that the tofu skin rolls appear to be stuffed with both pork and shrimp (so not vegetarian). The food came out quickly and in whatever order it was ready. However, the some of the service was struggling. The tables are small and easily overcrowded with 3-4 small plates, but neither our waiter nor any of the 5 food runners cleared our dirty dishes away. So we stacked the plates ourselves so they could drop more dishes. It took 3 tries to get more napkins, and despite encouraging us to order food in rounds of 3-4 dishes each, it was difficult to get to our waiter to order. Overall, this was a good experience with solid food. We will be returning.

AYCE $35 on the weekends! A great opportunity to try dim sum, side dishes, and so much more. Some dishes I recommend are the scallion bubble that comes with an amazing yellow curry sauce. I love the lo mein, pairs well with the dumplings. I recommend the pork and chive and my friends love the soup dumplings. Can be slow service when it is super busy.

The location is quaint with levels of seating. I made a reservation to celebrate a birthday and was promoting seated upon arrival. The waiter was patient and happy to recommend some popular dishes. We decided to try a few small plates to develop a sampler of the menu. I didn't get a picture of the house fried rice or the white rice that accompanied the meal but they were perfectly cooked. I can tell you my fish bowl drink was tasty. You can keep the duck that floats on top, which is a cute memory from a incredible meal. The rib tips were tender and flavored with soy with a bit of sweetness. The BAO bun houses the tender pork belly and the cucumber added a cool bite. The limoncello shrimp, please do yourself a favor and order two servings to begin with. They are too good to share. It is not often that I plan my next trip the day after I experience a restaurant but trust and believe Im going to find a reason to journey back to Nihao this summer.

Oh my god--this place is amazing! We easily found parking around the back of the building, and the staff were incredibly kind and sweet. Our waiter was super chill, and the food came out really fast. We sat on the second floor, which was pretty cool, and they also have a downstairs area and outdoor seating. Such a cute restaurant overall. Now for the food: we ordered several dishes, starting with the scallion pancake, which was excellent. The Mongolian beef was SOOO good. My sister loved the egg drop soup, but my mom and sister said they probably wouldn't order the pork and shrimp dumplings again. I got the lo mein--IT WAS AMAZING--and the portion was huge, so I split it with my sister. No wonder this place was ranked 4th best in the country in 2020. Definitely coming back!

I got carry out so I can't say much about the service or ambiance but that's not important when the food is excellent. We went for the first Signature dish - the Dry Fried Red Pepper Chicken. EXCELLENT. It's very spicy and super flavorful. It comes with a decent amount of chicken, to be expected for a $19 chicken dish. Tip: None of the dishes comes with rice, which is $1 additional and must be ordered separately. We also got the fried rice with shrimp and chicken and it was also very good. Based on these two dishes, I will definitely be back to explore more of the menu. Street parking can be tough in this part of time so be prepared to have to search for parking.

Still loving Nihao. My friends and I always enjoy dining here. Staff are friendly and food is always so good. They started an All You Can Eat on the weekends with their dim sum and tapas. It's such a great deal and you can try so many items! I've tried the brunch a couple times now and was just back for dinner. This recent experience was great as usual. We ordered the Jianghu Spicy Fried Chicken to start. It was spicy to our palettes and there were plenty of crispy chicken. Then for our mains, we got the Hot Chili Oil Beef Stew and Asparagus Snow Pea Prawn. The beef stew was huge and full of spice with plenty of beef. I really enjoyed the milder flavor of the prawns dish. I also saved room for dessert so I could enjoy the Steamed Black Sesame Egg Yolk Bao. It's sooo delicious. I will keep coming to dine here!

Health: With a blend of traditional Chinese dishes and American fusions, this place has a decent options list to choose from to help one's diet maintain balance. If you have self control? This place is brilliant. Price: It's a decent price for the quality given, and the portions were generous. But, the price wasn't exactly a "everyday outing" level. For the quality, it was good. Experience: Now, full disclosure, there was an emergency there that might have hampered the speed of the orders. The food came quickly, and the servers were quite accommodating with the seating. Even the interior had that Chinese restaurant feel. It was nice. Taste: Now here's where this place excels. The food itself was genuinely delicious. The eggplant lightly breaded and stir fried (not exactly healthy, but delectable). The hotpot was just spicy enough to kick, but still carried through the flavor of the fish. However the standout was the Peking Duck Wraps. Cooked fresh, portioned well, and accompanied by thin flour wraps, it made the meal go from "good" to "wow". This is what real Chinese food looks like and tastes like. All in the middle of Baltimore. I'll eat here again. You should too.

I'm really disappointed with this establishment. I recently heard about their all you can eat brunch which as a rule I don't love all you can eat, but I wanted to go back to try it out as my friends were really intrigued. First of all I'm not sure what time it exactly starts because on Google it says they don't open till 1130 but on the menu it says they open at 11. Second of all you walk in and the hostess the two Gen Z girls that work there just stare at you and they're very very rude. So we sit down and the server is one that I've had in the past and he's usually OK and throughout the service they kept asking us for our menus back. It's in all you can eat, so how do you expect us to give you our menus back? They also asked if they could take our teapot which were still relatively full. I think they don't have enough menus or teapots, but that is not a patrons responsibility. Of course, with most any, all you can eat there is a seating limit, but they didn't tell you that upfront and it wasn't until we were wrapping up that they said our time was up, which honestly didn't bother me that much but they could've been way more upfront about it. In general, it was really really popular when we went, super busy, but there was an air of hostility and the service was so bad that I never want to go back here and also the food was just average. There were a couple things that were fine like the shrimp and chive dumplings but the hot & sour soup was an off color. Also, as a note, the bathrooms were extremely disgusting this time around and the overall restaurant just felt really dusty.

The AYCE dim sum on the weekends is the perfect group lunch for only $32pp. The service is as attentive. The AYCE we did starts at 11 and ends at 3 Fri-Sunday. The food was delicious. this place was so delicious. Each thing we got was very flavorful. My personal favorites were the scallion pancakes and the limoncello crispy shrimp. The fried rice with the Mongolian beef was such a good combo. This is the perfect place to go with a hungry appetite and a bunch of friends. You'll be able to try a bunch of their food items that way especially with the tapa style. I recommend this place. Would love to try their regular dinner menu as well

My friends and I came here on a whim and let me just say the food was great. We went for the AYCE brunch for $32 per person and we all walked away so full and happy. My favorites were the Limoncello shrimp and the pork and shrimp wontons, but honestly try everything if possible. The service was pretty good, we were able to always find someone to help clear off our table when necessary, and it's cute on the inside with a bunch of flowers decorating the place. Safe to say I'll be back with stretchier pants.

Haven't been back here in 4 years and wanted to give it a redemption after hearing about the AYCE dim sum and I was quite disappointed once again.. I knew coming in this wouldn't be your traditional dim sum and would have modern twists on classic dishes, but the execution was sub par. Starting off strong were the crystal shrimp dumpling (hargow) and cucumber salad, but we found the pork ribs to be stiff/not tender, scallion pancake to be tough, lemon cello shrimp missing lemon flavor since it was only garnished with rind, soup dumplings missing soup, and sour soup that was way too dark. They also served us green tea that was so over-steeped that our waiter thought it was a different kind of tea! We also were continuously approached for our menus to be taken away when we were clearly still eating and ordering, plus it's AYCE! Definitely won't be returning.

Went here for the AYCE brunch. We ordered so much and everything was delicious. Our favorites were the popcorn chicken, limoncello shrimp, bubble pancake and honey pork rib. Service was pretty good - everything came out fast and server kept coming back for more orders. Ambiance was OK - not super modern looking and there was no music and for that I'm taking a star... i like lively brunch vibes. Also soup dumplings didn't have any soup in them? But flavor was still good. But overall some of the best Chinese food in the city and will definitely return for dinner.

I ordered several things:…read more Chicken with broccoli, Eggplant in spicy garlic sauce, Green beans, White rice, Crystal shrimp dumpling and Hot and sour tofu egg soup. The food overall was delicious. Each of the entrees was flavorful and well prepared. Two things I want to mention: I thought the shrimp dumpling (3 of them) should have been a larger portion for the price and that the soup was a bit salty. Other than that, no complaints. After placing my order online, I called the restaurant to request plates, plastic ware and chop sticks. The friendly person on the phone assured me "no problem," and everything was received as promised. I had ordered a lot more food than I should have, and ended up having some for dinner, lunch the following day and late afternoon snack a day later. The entrees and rice held up well under repeat microwaving. I've been unimpressed by Peter Chang (eating at the testaurant) at another location in the past. I thought it was overpriced for what was typical Chinese food. I will likely try them out again after this experience. The food was much better than I remember it and seemed reasonably priced for the portions.

On day one, we wanted a light lunch to save room for dinner. We ordered the prawn with snow peas and wood ear mushrooms, along with the veggie pan-fried dumplings. Everything was incredibly light, fresh, and delicious! We paired it with the hot ginger honey tea, which was wonderfully flavorful and soothing. The staff was also so kind and accommodated our request for a quiet meal by seating us in a peaceful, closed-off section. On day two, we were craving those exact same flavors, so we re-ordered the prawn dish, the veggie dumplings, and the hot ginger tea--but this time, we added the beef lo mein. It was absolutely amazing! Honestly, it was the best lo mein we have ever had; we've never tasted anything quite like it. The food here is spectacular, and the service is incredibly accommodating that we forgot to take photos. Peter Chang will definitely be our go-to spot whenever we are back in Baltimore!
