She went above and beyond to make our order when she could have easily said no. While we waited, she was incredibly kind and welcoming. The conversation was wonderful, and her genuine care for people shines through in everything she does. It's rare to find someone who treats customers like family, and that's exactly how we felt. The world needs more business owners like her. Her kindness, professionalism, and willingness to help were a true blessing from God. Please support her business--you won't be disappointed! Thank you for your outstanding service and for making our day so special.

The owner immediately greeted me with a warm smile and hello. I ordered the whiting fish with cabbage and candied yams, plus a sweet tea. The fish was incredible, tender and flaky in the inside, perfectly seasoned crunch on the outside. The cabbage reminded me of "home," my elders who have long since passed. Just delicious! The candied yams were delicious, flavorful without being too sweet. To my surprise Miss Kim brought potato salad with my meal and it was incredible. Again, it was a reminder of the potato salad I grew up with. Perfectly cooked potatoes, well seasoned, all the right ingredients. The location is convenient, the restaurant is just beautiful. I like the decor and the gospel music was a comforting way to eat my lunch. What I loved the most was the fact that Miss Kim brought out a home cooked meal. Yes, it took a while for the food to come out, but that's to be expected when someone is cooking a made-to-order meal. It was 100% worth the wait. I will absolutely return next time I'm in Greensboro.

For starters our server Zipporiah sat us near a large family. Easily 12-15 members. Maybe she thought they were about to leave but they were still seated and chopping up as families do. Me & Bae didn't know those people. The restaurant was not packed. Three places I won't sit in restaurants: by the kitchen, by the bathrooms and way in the back. Otherwise I let the servers do their job of balancing the customers. I should have asked for a different seat. Our lunch date was just okay but having to talk to each other over that family wasn't fun for me. Literally one table over and yes booths were available. The other reason for the four? Being rushed. Bae eats like he's running out of time. I eat much slower. I'd barely gotten the sour cream and butter in my loaded baked potato good before we were asked if we needed boxes. To which I replied that I was still enjoying my meal. Now if there was a reason for us to be rushed then communicate this. I've had many a server say that they are about to leave or shift change is happening so they ask to cash us out before they leave. If the restaurant is slammed and we're just camping out then it makes sense to try to turn the table quickly. I guess we weren't eating fast enough because Bae noticed a slight shift in her attitude towards us. The food? Banging! We ordered fried chicken wings as our appetizer. Talk about a speedy delivery of hot chicken wings! So good! Fish was friend to perfection. Why lemon pepper? I wanted to do something different. Zipporiah was very accommodating along if I wanted just one piece with lemon pepper. Also, our order did come out right. Will we go back? Absolutely. This place is a Greensboro staple!

My initial introduction was when they were located in Stock and Grain Food Hall. I had wanted to try them for a while and luckily I was invited to a Yelp Event where I was able to sample some items. In all fairness, I absolutely loved the service but maybe it was an off night but at the time I wasn't a fan. But as some months passed, they are no longer in Stock and Grain but in a food truck in High Point. I highly suggest following their Facebook page for dates and times where you can catch them. The service was still wonderful and the food was really good. The sweet potato cornbread is one of my favs and the chicken wings and catfish bites were fried to perfection. I love collard greens but do understand, everyone makes them differently. My family is from eastern NC so we make ours savory, theirs have a little sweetness to it. I don't mind it but this time around was so much better, it was very well balanced. The mac and cheese was delicious as well. Although not pictured, do check out their Russian tea drink. I felt very nostalgic and I have no other words but it was great. I try to savor it when I get some. I wish he sold them in half gallon jugs because I would buy it. That's how good it is. They have other items like Rasta pasta, oxtails, pork chops, and turkey wings. I can't wait to come back and try more food. Give them a follow and check them out. You won't be disappointed.

We will make it a point to visit more frequently!

The host, Keshawn was very professional and showed us to our seat when we got there. Our waitress, Destiny was busy but let us know she'd be with us shortly. We ordered and it did take quite awhile to get our salads 45 minutes later with no bread service. The salads were great. Arugula with strawberries and goat cheese. Our entrees came later. Steak with lobster add on and Airline chicken with garlic mashed potatoes. All in all the food was delicious and the service was great. The only reason for the four stars was due to the wait time from seating to taking our actual order was over 20 minutes.

At this point, they know my face and my favorite bartender Dame is usually there. The atmosphere is lovely and most times they have jazz or R&B playing. Like I said before, it's always at a good volume and never too loud. I haven't been for brunch in a while but when I go on Thursdays, they have a special for whiskey and bourbon and also wine. It very laid back, however, I still suggest making a reservation as it came get busy out of nowhere. I've seen it happen. The last time I went I tried the Red Snapper bites which came with rice, Caribbean cabbage and olives. I can't stand olives (its a texture thing) but it wasn't on it at all, it came on the side which I thoroughly appreciated. Everything else was spectacular. I also let Dame make me a drink and I often will say "Bartender's Choice" which means they can create whatever they want based on what flavor profile I like. I'm not sure what the drink was but it was delicious and strong. I only needed 1 that night. The service is always great and it feels like you're catching up with old friends. Although, not pictured, I have tried the shrimp and grits, fried cauliflower, and crab dip with toast points. All are very good. This is one of my favorite spots that feels like my own version of Cheers. If you are in the area, check this place out. Wonderful food, wonderful vibes, and amazing staff.

Great First Impression & Excellent Customer Service!**…read more My boyfriend and I tried **A'leurer LLC** for the first time, and overall, it was a wonderful experience. We decided to place an online to-go order, and the staff was very proactive, they called us shortly after to let us know they were out of turkey wings. What really impressed us was the customer service; they offered to substitute the turkey wings for oxtails at no extra charge. That kind of hospitality is hard to find! As for the food: * **The Oxtails:** My boyfriend thought the flavor was really good. The only downside was that they were a bit too fatty, but the taste was definitely there. * **Food Quality:** Everything else was great. The portions were generous, and the quality of the sides was top-notch. We'll definitely be back to try more of the menu. The small size and simplicity of the menu made me a bit hesitant at first. For starters I had their fried shrimp with a speciality sauce that didn't taste like anything and some dinner rolls with honey spread on them. The shrimp was actually more enjoyable by itself, which is surprising cause you'd hope the sauce would be an addition to the dish. But what really stole the show was the entree. First the portion size was well above what I paid. The plating really stood out. We ordered the Ox Tails and the Pasta. The Ox tails were Huge to begin with, not only that but they were actually really good. I can't remember what sides were had with it but you can choose your own. The pasta had a nice spice to it, the dish was presented well and had more than enough protein spread throughout. I also didn't have any issues with service or wait times. I would definitely try this place again and see what other appetizers they have to offer, because this place was worth it.
