Took my boy to get groomed here for the first time yesterday. I really like the way his body and face came out. The only thing I was a little bummed about was the fact that the groomer didn't cut his ears or tail. I had both women at the front desk ask me if I wanted ears and tail cut, I said yes both times, one of the women even wrote down that I wanted them cut. So I was a bit surprised to see that my boy still had the same long ears and tail that he had when I dropped him off. I know his coat was very long, and not in perfect shape. First time here. I took my two maltipoo mix dogs. It's their second time with a groomer. Dropped them off at 2, got a pick up call at about 5:45pm. The facility is clean, cute and has its own parking lot. I paid 140$ for both. I was originally quoted 75$ each so I was pleasantly surprised. They look absolutely adorable and the groomer did exactly what I asked for. The staff was nice. Far nicer haircut than the last groomer experience. Staff manager kept insisting that the dog was not fed anything under their care because of "their policies" while grooming but it's BS. She disclose they sold can food for pets. Anyways, I picked up my dog and he threw up a huge chuck of canned food after his grooming in my brand new car. A few days later, I ended up paying 629.00$$$ to get him medication and test. Nikki's Pet Spa is a life saver! Our poor baby girl was so matted up and miserable. You can see the difference in the pictures. Our regular groomer has been closed since March and we haven't been able to schedule an appointment anywhere for a full grooming service. I used Yelp and sent out a message with a photo of our baby to a couple of groomers and Nikki was so kind to reach out to me. Although she was booked out for two weeks, she was able to squeeze us in because she saw how bad Coco looked. She worked around our schedule and was so flexible. We've never had any groomer do that for us and was so impressed with her customer service. I'm pretty picky when it comes to groomers and I'm very protective of my baby so I was a bit nervous with taking her to a new place. But Nikki and her staff are so friendly and you can tell how much they love all the animals. They are taking extra safety measures right now and having you drive up to the back to drop off and pick up which is good. They really did a wonderful job on her especially since she was in such bad shape when we brought her in. FYI, she doesn't accept credit cards so you have to pay her by cash, Venmo or Zelle. Nikki's Pet Spa provides excellent customer service, and they have the most experienced and professional groomers. I was taking my 5-month-old pup, Sir Woofington, to PetSmart. He had gone there twice for a puppy bath and trim. Both times, he was done in less than an hour and he would be wailing and dying to get out of their grip when they bring him out. The first time he came out with part of his tail shaved off and the second time, they didn't cut his nails and never cleaned out his ears. The third time we took him, the groomer grabbed him so hard on the face and when he cried, she yelled "stop" continuously until I told her to let go of him. Luckily, she was just checking him in when that happened, so I had the chance to pull him away from that horrible place. I immediately called Niki's Pet Spa after than incident and Nikki was kind enough to accommodate pup the following day for a bath and trim. As soon as we pulled up to their curbside drop-off/pick-up area, Jodi greeted us and checked us in. She was so nice and friendly that I immediately felt better being there. When she picked up pup, she was gentle and made him feel at ease. He was there for four hours and I worried that he or they had a hard time because he had never been left with anyone else for that long, but when I got there, Jodi greeted me again and told me that he handled it well and apart from his lack of bladder control, Nikki didn't have any issues grooming him. Jodi left for a few moments to get him, and I was nervous to see him thinking that he would be wailing or wouldn't be groomed properly, but when she came out, Sir Woofington was cradled calmly in her arms and he looked so fluffy and adorable! Nikki trimmed his nails properly, trimmed and blew out his hair beautifully and cleared his ears of all the hair that built up there. He even came out in this cute black bow; he was just so handsome! I thanked Jodi again for their outstanding service and left. I received a follow-up call from Nikki about an hour after to check on Sir Woofington. She mentioned the build up in his ears to which I was very thankful she was able to clean out and told her my previous horrible PetSmart story. I scheduled my next appointment with them already. I'm glad I found Nikki's Pet Spa because this next appointment would be his first grooming appointment after getting neutered and also his first full-groom appointment. I have been taking my dogs to Nikki's for over 20 years and I have been more than happy of the services & treatments my dogs have revived. There was a time when my puppy bulldog eye was injured & I didn't know what to do so I immediately called Nikki. She was on vacation out of state, but she called me back right away and gave me advice on what to do. My dog is four years old now and she's doing great whenever I bring my two Gigi and Gemma. They are so nervous and shaking, but once I pick them up, they are happy campers just trotting to the door. I have always been satisfied with the employees there they do their best and very hard. They will call if they need to on either dog and they pamper the dogs immensely. I went to the back grooming area and as much as they do dogs back there, it was very clean and it did not smell at all. I'm not one who writes reviews, but it really angered me to hear people put Nikki spa down and bash her when she does nothing but the best Thank you for listening.
