Nikko is the best sushi and Hibachi restaurant I have ever been to. Their food is fresh and well prepared and the staff is excellent. The food took almost 1.5 hours today and the hot food was missing the hot part. Not even room temperature. Just cold, which is really gross when it is something fried. Really disappointed. The HH is amazing $3 beers and $4 calamari The ambience is perfect. And no problema at all with parking since this location is where Friday's used to be. We sat at the bar and started our evening with happy hour and some appys. We moved towards the hibachi room for dinner soon as our guest arrived, we were a party of 6 and the chef was fabulous with helping to accommodate certain allergies from the table. The waiter was helpful with all our demands and keeping our water glasses full. We had all the combos they have and everything was tasteful and filling. Lobster tails were cooked outside the shell so you don't get messy. All steaks were juicy and flavorful and the salmon was seasoned just right. Everything went well this night and I will return the only thing I see that should be suggested is they add ice cream to their hibachi combos since almost every hibachi chain offers complimentary ice cream. I will start off by saying food and service (for the most part) was good. However, I was annoyed and turned off by the chef. Although he was trying to have a good time, I don't think he was respectful or mindful to his surroundings. I was there taking children out for their birthday. I was joined by my boyfriend and of age sister, however, he kept insisting that he skirt sake into our mouths. After my boyfriend told him no several times he would not relent. I finally just did it, just to make him stop, and after I put my hands up gesturing to stop, he would not stop, he kept going to the point that I either had the option of choking or spitting it out. I chose the latter and it got all over my dress that I just took out from the cleaners. I was extremely annoyed. Not sure if I will go back, but if I do decide to go back, I am definitely requesting another chef, that was not appropriate. Also note, no refills on soft drinks. read more

He made a questionable balloon figure for one of our friends and put it on her head. My inner teenager laughed probably a little too much! I love hibachi and this restaurant's food was delicious as expected however I left disappointed. I arrived an hour before closing so I understood the rush to hurry up and clean up but I felt rushed the whole time I was there to the point I couldn't enjoy my food. The check was snatch from my hand before i was able to close the booklet and be finished with it. The lady took the booklet and walked away and then returned and told me I must tip ,the tip is not included you need to tip or words along the sort (it was hard to understand from the accent but I got the point) I understand tipping and am not one to not tip but she didn't even give me a chance and then forced it upon me. I was going to tip in cash but she complained and felt too entitled (I still tipped of course) I am a strong believer in people have the right not to tip it is not mandatory and if it was include it in the bill. Waste of money. The interior is quiet nice, but does not match with the food. When I ordered a chicken and beef hibachi. I received chicken and beef that looked like it was cooked some hours ago. The rice in the fried rice was also very very hard. Overall the price is not worth the food and the restaurant relies to much on the interior and not the food. The food is pretty good, but we've been here 4 or 5 times now, and every time, we are made to wait 20 minutes before being seated, despite having reservations. My family and I came here for dinner on a Saturday. It is very family friendly. I had the lychee martini which was AWESOME! I also have a shell fish allergy that the cook took very seriously. He made sure to make all the meats first and seafood last to ensure no cross contamination occurred.
