    Green Salad

Got lucky and stumbled on this spot for a quick, fresh, delicious dinner. Ordered the tri-color don: four pieces of tuna sashimi, three pieces of yellowtail sashimi and three pieces of salmon sashimi (with sushi rice). Added on an order of ikura sushi (2 pieces) and salmon sushi (2 pieces). Salad came with the meal and I loved the ginger dressing. Fish was just the right temperature, texture and flavor. It was quiet-only one other table seated but there were some take out orders. It's not a big place but seating is well spaced. Service was friendly and efficient.

We came here a few times. The sushi is good and fresh. This is one of the few places that has Mochi on its dessert menu. The types of sushi roles are really good. The service is good on slower days, but slower on busy days. The ambiance in here is intimate. It is a really good neighborhood restaurant and a place worth the visit.

Easily missed but hardly forgotten. Intimate setting that serves food fresh and slow. At one point they had a Thai menu and upon request the chef will surprise you with a Thai version of spicy soup. They do a great twist on rice-less sushi but I highly recommend the Yummy roll. The chefs bring their personality into the sushi and you can taste their style with the perfect cuts and careful seasoning. Easily the best sushi in Westchester with friendly service.

Lunch special: Salmon teriyaki bento box

I haven't been to Haru Hana in a couple of years and I remember it being better that it was, but I have had my fair share of sushi places since them so the quality I look for may be different now. But overall, it's okay. I like the ambiance with the lounge-looking booths and black tables, it has a trendy, sexy feel to it. I'm sure more so at night due to the large windows encapsulating the restaurant. The service is okay. Not very fast. I waited 5 minutes before I even got a menu but it's one person running around during lunch time to take orders and to ring out take out. I ordered a Salmon Teriyaki bento box lunch special. It came with a soup or salad, I chose the salad. It was mostly iceberg lettuce but the ginger sauce is always a hit. The bento box came with salmon marinated in teriyaki sauce over a bed of onions, 3 dumplings, 4 pieces of a California roll and white rice. Lunch was cheap and filling. With ginger ale and a tip, I paid $15.00. When I'm in the neighborhood, I'd go back.

Salmon sashimi was super fresh and the man who made my food was super friendly and knowledgeable about fish prep, etc. It was a pleasure chatting with him anf dining in today when it was super quiet. Thanks a bunch!

Appetizers and sushi rolls were on point. Service was very good too. They have a large selection of signature rolls.

Irvington is lucky to have Kiku - great food, great service, and a newly renovated building.

It was like there was a party on mouth, and everyone was invited. Best sushi for miles. We come all the way from NJ to eat here.

The environment itself felt welcoming and thoughtfully arranged, creating a space that was both comfortable and inviting. My friend and I came in after a very rough day at work, carrying more weight than we realized. We left lighter, having forgotten the stress and trauma of the day, replaced by joy, laughter, and the feeling of being part of a community. The place looks welcoming and well maintained with a pleasant ambiance. The menu is quite extensive and offers the lunch specials that we were looking forward to. Well portioned offerings that are served with soup ,rice and salad. An excellent deal. We started with steamed edamame and an appetizer of tempura shrimp and vegetables. Good choices. The mains were a sushi lunch box with eel sushi, lunch box with teriyaki tofu and a plate of three spicy rolls. Each of us enjoyed what we were eating. The soups were flavorful, the salads were fresh and well dressed. Note to self - need to come here more often.
