This review is a bit late but I have been coming to this place for awhile. The customer service here is top notch, Isela has always been great with customer service and I get more of a family feel when she takes care of us. Sandy was also great there, all of the staff is great but I didn't get all their names as of yet. Will post pictures of the food when I take more as my phone was reset recently. The parking can be a bit tight, but it's not much of an issue when evaluating the experience as a whole. read more

We were visiting from out of town. So our mother gotta recommendation for this place. So she took us. The stuffed us in this small ass booth. When they had a whole other room they could of put us in. Where there was other ppl. The waitress was nice. Ill give her that. After you order your food comes out rather quickly. Thats was cool. But then service got slow. We had to send two out of four meals back. The bacon was burnt. Then when we sent the two meal back. The omelette was terrible it was way more bell peppers than egg. And the burnt back they said they threw away was in the omelette. If we go again i think im just get a burger cause the breakfast experience was not to good. read more

I came here for the first time and fell love with this place! Their food is so delicious and amazing especially I love the fried mushroom. I also tried their burger, and it was my best burger so far. This place is one of the earliest memories I have eating at a mom and pop's place for burgers. 1/4 hamburger for $2.49, not bad in my book. Oh, and they use shredded lettuce!!! Mmmmm...cheap and yummy, what more can you ask for? For people who don't like 1000 island you better request it without it. They also make mexican food. Doesn't make sense to me especially since the owners are Koreans hahaha. BUT I could be wrong and it could be dang good, but I'm too puss to venture out and see if I'm right. If you're looking for a cheap lunch; you should definitely consider Nikko's. I passed this place hundreds of times and always wanted to try their burger. So today for lunch was the time of reckoning. I walk in, two people are at the counter ordering. I order the burger combo (w/ fries and reg. soda) for a grand total of $4.99. It's free refills with but they carry Pepsi products. However there is a decent selection of "juice alternatives" like horchata, guava, oj, etc., and those are free refills also. My order is called out in 7 minutes after ordering. The burger is a little on the thin side, but they use sesame seeded buns so I'm not too disappointed. The fries are fresh out of the fryer. The lettuce, tomato and onion are super crispy. The bun ISN"T toasted but I'm sure you can ask for that modifier. The dining room wasn't packed at all. I got there exactly at 12pm and the place was only 1/4 full. They do put russian dressing on the bread so if you're not into that just let them know. The cashier and rest of the staff were friendly. The owner was also there ringing up orders and glad handing the regulars. The dining room was clean and all the condiments were stocked and ready for action. Still has great food after all these years. Got the avocado bacon burger, patty melt and zucchini with their BOMB RANCH! Great place to eat.

I usually enjoy eating at Nikko's but the last couple times have been misses. Ordered the taco platter. The beans had absolutely no flavor. The Spanish rice had absolutely no flavor and a strange after taste. The carne asada had a decent flavor, and the tacos were stuffed with meat, but it was a bit messy and greasy. Also ordered a B/C burrito. Like the taco platter the burrito was bland. Just not a lot of flavor going on at Nikko's. read more

First time here and was surprised to be told to sit and wait for a server. Our server was very friendly and checked on us constantly, which was nice. I did however see other customers coming in and ordering at the register. The reason that I did not give this place more stars is not only because of the confusion with whether this is a sir down place or not but because I was charged a different price than that stated on the menu. The breakfast special menu had a lower price but I was charged two dollars or so more for the #B5 meal my son ordered. That extra charge plus leaving a tip for our server made our breakfast out more expensive than what I budgeted for and that doesn't make for the best first impression. Everyone at my table we're almost done eating their food when I asked the waitress where my chorizo burrito was, the burrito that I've been waiting on for 15 minutes? Nikkos is a really good place. The staff is super friendly and hospitable. I particularly love the Chicken sandwich special and the Philly cheesesteak. Both are very flavorful and moist. The place is really clean every time we go someone is either mopping, wiping, sweeping or cleaning the clean. If you haven't been here your totally missing out. read more

Same message as before from someone else. My son and I were driving home from shopping near the Tyler Mall and I said I was hungry for Cheeseburger place. It seemed like we passed a couple places and then he said, "look across the street, there is a burger place called Nikko's. So I swung the car around making a U Turn and shortly we pulled into the lot. I said to get whatever he wanted and get me a cheeseburger with all the fixing's and he got the same. The first bite had me and I couldn't believe how good it was. I was almost in shock. I am 74 and a l know burgers. It had a toasted crunchy bun, a burger grilled on the grill to get the desired crust which is so important for a great burger and everything else that was on there. The burger was the right size as it fit the bun. I am definitely going back with the rest of the family and can't wait. Good job to the owner. Small places like this on a street that is busy with burger places. They have to do a good job or they don't live for long. Trust this place and go there. read more

I don't like fake government cheese. Rode in to the IE to have a suspension link made at a metal shop around the corner. I got hungry and the guy told me to take a walk here. Okay. This place is hit or miss but mostly miss. Also, it's kinda of pricey for the crap that you get. $8 for a piss poor Philly Cheese Steak sandwich? Eight Dollars? The meat was dry and could have easily been at least two days old. The "cheese" was plastic and the "sauce" caused almost immediate stomach pain followed by violent intestinal purging half an hour later. The bread at least was quite soft and fresh. $7 for a double bacon cheese. Dammit, man. That's a lot of money for thin ass patties of low grade ground beef, wilted lettuce, soggy tomato, and dry bun. The cheese on this was also plastic. Gyro was not bad. I was impressed and surprised. Pita was toasty and crispy but still soft. Meat was generous. Sauce was not overwhelming. Onions were decent. Soda fountain was fun. Lots of choices as well as a side canister of ice tea AND six different types of those fruity cinnamon milky whatever drinks like Horchata and such. No idea of the other menu items but the owners are rude and ignore the customers. Service at the register was good enough for minimum wage. Dining area was DIRTY and so was the bathroom. I'm sorry but it's not cheap, it's not good, and it's not clean. If I'm going to pay $7 or $8 for a sandwich, it's not going to be here. Lesson learned. It's back to OC with me. read more

This place is going to make me fat!! I recently moved from Corona to this area and I can literally smell them cooking their burgers every day. Such torture!! I'm addicted to their double bacon avocado burger, and the crispiness of their fries is perfect. All for a whole 7-8 bucks, definitely worth it! No matter what you order, you'll get generous portions, without the greasiness of a typical diner breakfast. Lunch menu is dominated by burgers and sandwiches, any of which is served with a MOUNTAIN of french fries. The #6 combo is a double bacon cheeseburger with fries and a drink for about $7. Be daring. Get the french fries, fried zucchini AND onion rings. Sure, it may cause cardiac arrest, but you'll die happy. Nikko's also has dinner entrees like chicken strips, fried shrimp, and steak, served up with choice of sides. We were a party of five and our bill came to less than $40. Try getting that price at TGIFriday's! I have absolutely never been unhappy with this place in any way, except that the tables aren't always wiped cleanly enough. Go hungry. Leave full. Yumm! This family decided to try something different for our Friday "dine out" night. We've been driving past this place for many years now and thought we'd give it a shot. Sure glad we did.
