Food quality is terrible. Service is great. Dining and outside are clean. Needs to be updated. I don't know who is actually going here and keeping it open. When I say the food was bad, it's bad. Why didn't I know about this location?! Shopping nearby we saw Johnny's. It has that mom n pop old school feel. Sort of like a beach location, brick building, fans going wooden booths. There's also a patio seating area. Awesome service from all the staff here. Friendly, helpful and welcoming. Burger had that backyard bbq char that sets it apart from the norm. Seasoned well. Juices or Self serve fountain drinks were great for the hot day. Parking on both sides of the building drive thru available. read more

I've seen a lot of mixed reviews for Johnny's burgers but overall i think it's a good restaurant. My favorite has to be their zucchinis with ranch but their sandwhiches are also good. Burgers are good but not better than in n out. Service is usually quick but the drive thru does tend to be packed so i suggest ordering ahead by phone or just going inside to wait. I will say i prefer their old aesthetic that was more 50s diner inspired but the inside is still clean and they have both indoor and outdoor seating. One of their downfalls may be that their menu has too many items which makes the food good but it would probably be great if they just focused on a select items. read more

This review is overdue, I have had many issues with this location. Orders not received properly, food made incorrectly, employees rude and lying to customers that they are the owner, I've even seen workers loading bread onto their own cars from the restaurant. Today I went through the drive thru around 10:30 AM asked the girl taking my order for my toast to be toasted with butter, she said they'd toast my bread but the butter is on the side. Not only did I not get any utensils, ketchup, syrup or that BUTTER she said comes on the side... I get home and my pancake special has hair literally cooked in the pancake. This is disgusting!!!! It grossed me out, we did not eat any of our food we ordered ($53.78 total). I was told the owner is on vacation and won't be in until Wednesday. Best believe I will be there on Wednesday to talk to her again, because these kids they have working at their restaurant don't know how to work nor does it seem like they want to work. Inside is spotless, really really well kept clean by the staff. Decor had a bunch of those 50's style funny sayings. Staff seemed really nice and helpful. The burgers are good. Just went to Johnny's this morning tried the breakfast for the first time. I got the Pancake breakfast and a Bacon breakfast burrito. The eggs in the Pancake plate tasted like rubber and were dark, like if they were microwaved absolutely disgusting had to throw them away. The Sausage was not cooked from the inside, had to throw that away as well. Bacon breakfast burrito I ordered turned out to be a Ham breakfast burrito with way overcooked Ham super salty ham and mushy hashbrown. No flavor at all. Seems and tasts like they save food and reuse for the next day. If I could rate no stars I would. This is the second time my order has gotten messed up here. Johnny's lost a customer. read more

This is definitely a spot that I enjoy going to and bringing others too as well. This time around we went inside to order. I ultimately ended up getting their hamburger special, which includes fries and a drink. You can upgrade the fries though to onion rings or zucchini, if you'd like. Ultimately I wanted to showcase the photos of the menu. They have such a variety that sometimes you just don't have enough time to truly look through the whole menu. I will warn that the inside can be a bit smoky/foggy. Since they are grilling so much a lot of of that heat does not disperse out of the vents. The service I would say is friendly but, the line is always long! So I believe if someone says the service is bad could be, because the lines are long just in my opinion. This is an old school independent hamburger joint. It's been around for almost 40 years. This place is totally legit and is in the official rotation when we are driving through Riverside. I had the bacon cheeseburger which was amazing. The lady had the grilled chicken sandwich with lettuce and tomato. Very nice piece of chicken. It wasn't some sort of processed piece of crap. The onion rings are legit and the fries were delicious. This has a really nice patio that's covered by this huge Vine tree-like thing over the pergola. It's very relaxing. We threw the whole order out. This place is owned and operated by Latino Americans however, they provide poor service to the locals in the community who are non-Latino.
