Another hidden gem in the Plainville area. Not in an area where many restaurants are located, therefore it can be easily missed. I was shocked to know that in such a small area there are such a wide variety of restaurant options. Today our google search recommend Nina's kitchen which was only a 3-minute drive from work. Menu options include breakfast, salads, pasta, baked goods as well as hot and cold sandwiches. Soft drinks, chips, coffee, and fruits are also available The dining area is very cozy, clean, and tidy. Our server who was also the cashier handed us a menu to review and was back to take our order in a few minutes. Service was very fast as our wait time was less than 5 minutes. I had the BLT and it was so good. At first, I thought the bacon was too crispy but combined with the lettuce tomato and Mayo it was the perfect texture and consistency. My friends both enjoy their ham and cheese grinder and the corn chowder with chicken parm sandwich. The menu had stated that they had banana bread but when I asked, he said it was out of stock and they are waiting for the bananas to ripe a bit more. It was a bummer but funny at the same time. Prices were very reasonable as I wasn't looking to spend more than 10 dollars on lunch today and my total was just$10.06 If you are looking for somewhere quiet for a quick bite then check out Nina's. You will not be disappointed.

This place is amazing. We tried it once and go back as much as we can. Today had the Chicken Philly - blown away, it was the perfect texture, wasn't sure what to expect. It was chopped but you can tell it was real chicken and not a deli style chicken like some places use. I asked for it a certain way and as usually they did not disappoint t. We had a cranberry chicken salad sandwich which Is a go to favorite of this house. (We usually order one to snack on at some point lol. Spring salad was the perfect size. They separate the hot food from the cold good, sounds simple however most places throw everything in the same bag. This has become my preferred stop whenever I go to the Plainville AMC. With things getting so…read moreexpensive, it's very refreshing to see a place that can give a lot of value for a reasonable price. The restaurant is fairly small, but the portions are big! I got the disco fries as an appetizer and they were a delicious combo of gravy cheese and seasoning. You could also tell by the bite and the shape that they were made fresh which is also a big plus. I got the hungry bull burger and they were accommodating with substituting the horseradish crema for the house sauce. You would think double meat might be a bit much but it works well and the onion straws really make it shine. Finally I got the strawberry milkshake which was probably better than any shake shack milkshake I've had! The restaurant itself is also very eco-conscious by participating in newport biodiesel, so its great to know that not only are you getting a good meal but the restaurant you are supporting is also helping the people of the connecticut.

Mostly good burgers and dogs, great fries, nice but small location…read more Came here on the way to an event, so we opted for some lunch beforehand. This place was well reviewed, so we decided to make this the spot this time around. Ordering was done up front, but there were tables to sit at. Missus ordered while I took photos, and the food came out relatively quickly. Took pics and dug in. Sweet potato fries were the highlight. Hand cut, fried and seasoned. With ranch, they were really good. The burger and hot god were good in terms of quality and quantity. The condiments were a little overpowering though, ended up taking over a lot of the dish and really muddled the meat. The meat itself was lightly seasoned, relying on the condiments to bring the flavor. Not bad, but all elements should bring their own identity and add to a meal. The burger felt absent, and although flavorful was lacking that extra bit of salt or fat to make it truly shine. It's not bad at all, just lacking. Everything else was good, the price easily reasonable for the quality. It was just missing those finishing touches to be truly great

We were on a road trip and in need of a place to stop for lunch. I pulled out my trusty Yelp app…read moreand came across Fina's Kitchen and its excellent reviews. The small restaurant was like a deli with several tables inside and a lovely outdoor patio that really elevated its overall atmosphere. We placed our order at the inside counter and grabbed a table outside. Throughout our visit, we experienced extremely pleasant and gracious service from Fina and a young man, both of whom were cooking and delivering the food. Though this caused things to move on the slower side, they really had their system down to a science, managing our meals and the several takeout orders that I saw being collected. The lunch menu had various salads, sandwiches, and burgers on offer. I selected the Chicken Gyro, which used a real grilled chicken breast that had been sliced, rather than those pre-cut strips that always seem to contain fillers. The chicken was a tad dry, but the homemade tzatziki sauce, which was heavily infused with dill, helped to add moisture to the sandwich. I had opted for a whole wheat wrap, rather than a pita, and I loved that they had lightly toasted the completed dish, even with its inclusion of romaine lettuce and diced tomatoes. That method gave the wrap an improved texture and a slight crunch. I sampled a few of my companion's fries, which were thin, crispy, and had a real rustic flavor that resembled potato skins. They were great! Fina's Kitchen was a real gem, hidden among an industrial area and catering to the local businesses. It was a great find!

You can tell they're incredibly passionate about their food, and it shows in the taste. I had a veggie burger (which was made in-house), and it was delicious. Everything tasted fresh. My partner had the perogies and a burger, and he loved them! We will definitely be returning for a quick dinner next time we're in the area.
