Decent selection, quality is mediocre, nothing exceptional. The prices are amazing though for some quick finds. I always stop by when I'm in the area, I live in the east bay or I would frequent more often. Found a cute pair of black skinny jeans and a simple black v neck with lace trim. Don't expect great quality and stick to the basics and you won't be disappointed, it's even less expensive than F21, which unfortunately is no longer. They have some cute clothes in this store but here's a few things I have to say about the staff... They're very UNPROFESSIONAL. You'll just see young employees (long blonde hair, Asian chick) talking behind the register with her co-worker. When people NEED a fitting room, NO ONE is even there working that area. Like Hellooooo? This is a customer service job, so where is the service you provide here? Obviously there is None. So Here I am holding 8 items in my hand, mind you it's getting quite heavy, and I have to walk to the nearest employee I can find which is behind the register *eye roll* telling the young girl that I need a fitting room. She doesn't say a thing but rush over there to find me a room (with the biggest attitude) and doesn't even say "you're welcome" when I thank her. Miserable much? Lol...I get you hate your job hun, but at least "fake it" and smile. It's not that hard! That's what you're Paid to do! Aside from the horrible disrespectful young staff, they could do a little more training and teach their employees to be more professional or Hire a whole new staff that KNOWS what customer service truly is (and mature I might add.) Not get up in their "feels" and act like a little girl at work. I ain't got time for that! but yes, 4 stars to finding some cute outfits here. It's a hit or miss....usually I would shop online at SHEIN and save me the energy of driving or dealing with rude chicks. My girlfriend seems to enjoy shopping here. So we came here while at Serramonte to scope out the clothing and came to several conclusions about this place: *Sweats are a must here, as my gf enjoys finding her favorite pants and sweater in the same color. *There a variety of clothing available that ranges for the youth to the older people (i.e. 15-30 year olds). *This store like many of the other clothing stores at Serramonte are very similar in the style of clothing sold *The jewelry is locked up. It doesn't look like real gold or silver, so why lock it up *Lastly, it is relatively cheap (except for some select items). Cheap buys here and good for your gf to check out. Nothing really to complain about Nina's or something to rave about, just another clothing store to shop at, but I'm a guy, what do i know about girl fashion since I suck at knowing guy fashion. Nina's is so ghetto. Which is probably why I loved it in the sixth grade. Thankfully I've grown since then. But still, I look at those days with my two-toned "Baby Girl" bomber jacket and I sigh. With sadness. A lot of it. Their clothes are the exact quality you imagine when you say "Made in China." It's not even up to Forever 21 quality. This is definitely even worse quality than Wet Seal. I will say that the jeans here are okay, if you want an alternative to cheapass jeans from the above mentioned stores. They do have the latest cuts and washes, but sometimes it's a weird fit. Junior sizes, but runs REALLY super small. Jeans really aren't that cheap here anyway; you're better off at Forever or Ross. Some clothing here is just downright laughable. The tees can look so weird and oddly cheesy, a tiny bright green t-shirt with silver sparkles saying "Sexy Girl" or something like that. They also have a great amount of ill-fitting "basics", terrible stretch-fabric, form-fitting t-shirts in which reveals the slightest muffin-top or bra bulge. No thanks. In addition and as said before, their clothing is made the worst I've ever seen. Don't even really recommend trying stuff on in the dressing rooms, there's a good chance that if you're struggling to get in some seam will rip and you'll have to pay for it. Is it worth it? If I were back in the 6th grade again, I might've rated this store 10 stars if I could. But looking back on it now and going back to Nina's, it deserves it's 2 measly stars! Workers? Lazy. Well okay, maybe I'm trying too hard to seem critical after reading reviews for an hour, but really now? Can you just smile a little and not mug me like we're back in middle school & you just found out I have the same Nikes you do?! And then there's their clothes, or should I say patches of cloth. I dare not to go in this store anymore, because everytime I do I feel like a humongous troll announcing "Do you have a bigger size?" 24/7. Their large or X-large(if they even carry any) fits like a freaking medium/small if you were to shop at Target. I recall this one time me and my friends pretended to "view the fine clothing" but we had a goal: To stretch out all their clothes so little girls wouldn't feel so insecure about themselves. Yeah, I know. Very mature of us. On the positive side, you can find some good deals from time to time. I remember buying this plaid jacket for about 20 something bucks, and it surprisingly lasted for a good amount of time. And their jeans are comfortable. Weird, spandex material, but nonetheless affordable. They'll last you about 2 months, unless you want to end up looking like you have a cheese grater as a crotch. Overall? On to a brighter note, they have a nice variety of sale items. I've found more dressy clothes as opposed to loungy clothes which is a plus. They have dresses, shirts, sweaters, jackets, jeans, skirts, just about a little bit of everything. They even have sizes! I'm NOT a petite asian chick, I have a heavy chest & i wear a size 5/7 size jeans. I'm always surprised that the size L selection of clothes are really stocked in the sale section. I'm always trying on hella shit if I have time to waste, lol. Every time I come here they have at least 3 full racks of 50% off clothes. They even have good 2for10 sales with the more plain or loungy shirts and 3for10 tank tops which are always good for under shirts. I can never have enough of those! Esp. on the hotter days. Sometimes you just have to feel the sun on your skin & show them sexy arms of yours ;) lol. The other day I got a bunch of those half tube tops with lace to wear with those really low or somewhat see through shirts. Got one in each color :) But even without the sales the clothes are pretty cheap! You can find F21 quality jeans for $10 and their cute summer/spring shirts averaging around $6-$15. This place has some good selection of clothes at pretty good prices. Every now and then they have some really cool jeans on sale. Now, they have 2 stores, one is somewhat smaller and less of a selection with more casual clothing and the other one has casual as well as evening/party wear. Some of the clothes are definitely for the teenage crowd but they usually have very cute jackets, thermals, tanks and tops. The service is not very friendly or helpful, the employees are simply there to make a buck, so don't expect anything more than that. read more

I avoid coming here at all costs because of the ratchet girls who work here who know nothing about customer service. It's literally as if they hired girls right off the mall floor to work for a few hours. They'll walk in front of you and cut you off your track just to get back to their conversation with each other about their personal life, yet they won't greet you or acknowledge you (Umm..). Only reason I still come is because their clothes are decent, and leggings and dirt cheap. Also, the cashier working today 12/29 at 4pm is extremely friendly. I don't know why people keep complaining about the service and materials. If you worked at Serramonte dealing with boppers and the people trying to steal clothes I don't think you would be so happy either. It's not like this is Nordstrom or Neimans okay people. Look it's trendy clothes at a cheap price. They have the basic clothes like t-shirts in all colors and cuts, thermals, sweats and jeans as well as going out stuff. They do carry about 5-10 different brand of jeans with different cuts which is more than Forever carry. I usually find more things in Nina's then Forever. They usually have a lot more jackets like thick ones. Also they carry more leggings. Some of the stuff in Forever are the same as Nina's just that they take off the manufacturers tag and stick XXI on it instead. read more

Now the quality of the clothing has gone down and the styles are ... not my style anymore so I rarely come here. Still pretty cheap so what can you expect? Definitely make sure to stop at Nina's whenever I'm at Serramonte. It is one of my favorite stores and has a lot of cute clothes, similar to that of Forever 21 and a lot of popular online boutiques. The price and quality is unbeatable. Found a couple of items that I bought for way more online (COUGH OOTDFASH). The clothes here are mainly the basics: solid colored dresses, jeans, t-shirts, tanks and the like. Nice and cheap, but the clothes here are made by brands you've never even heard of. There were some graphic tees with ridiculous phrases and fake Hello Kitty. There is a nice cheap accessory section, but of course those nice cheap accessories are plasticky. Reminds me of Bloom in Tanforan and is the typical, flashy, loud teenage oriented store. I tried on a glittery dress and did not expect some much glitter to fall off and get stuck to my body and face. Glitter was everywhere! I'm not here trying to look like I'm at Coachella in the mall. I knew that the dress probably wasn't going to be great quality, since I have shopped here a few times, but didn't expect the glitter to be so poorly attached to the dress. It's like the manufacturer literally dumped glitter on the dress last minute and then shipped it out. I started shopping here and I'm growing fond of this store . They actually carry some pretty nice clothing here sometimes . Some of their pieces of clothing is similar to Forever21 and Bebe but the clothing here at Nina's fits me better than the clothing at Forever21 and is way cheaper than the clothing at Bebe . Material not the greatest and a lot of whats in here is a cheaper version of whats HOT today, but of lower quality and prices. Some of the stuff in here is garbage, but so are some at Forever and H&M. I actually think that I'm more able to find something here than I am over at Forever. I went in to check out what they have since I've known from before that they have clothes for cheap ( even though they might not be the best quality ). Once my friend and I stepped into the store we witnessed an employee rush past us, without greeting us, just to toss a shirt onto a display table... We work in retail as well and we thought that was just unacceptable. My friend snickered and said ...aren't you the one that's supposed to fold it and make it presentable? She must have heard her because when we went into the fitting room to try on some clothes, the same employee was there, and was pretty rude to us. I decided to get a dress but there were so many strings hanging from it! Once I got to the register I asked the woman if they had another one in the same size she came back from the rack and said no, she didn't even go check in the back! It wasn't even a dress that was on sale, I would hope that you don't only have three in stock... After she came back I asked if I could get a 10% off because of all the strings dangling from it, she rolled her eyes and said "Well, it's not like you can't cut it off." And she carelessly cut off a few to demonstrate the simple task, but I'm not asking because I can't do it myself; I'm asking because I am a customer unsatisfied with purchasing a piece of clothing that I won't be able to wear without going home and cutting off all these little pieces hanging from it! Joke of a "retail" store. Aside from it being affordable clothing, they lack any type of customer service and visual standarda for a retail location. Not a single person greeted me. Had about 9 items in hand and went to the fitting room to try them on. A chunky girl, didn't introduce herself, who was working the fitting room was completely rude and unhelpful. Told me limit was 5 and I said that's fine, but didn't offer to take the clothes from me to help me hang them, especially since my hands were full. Layout is completely cramped, disorganized and dirty. Asked the chunky girl who worked fitting rooms if there be an additional discount for the dirty clothes (was going to buy some white jeans, ALL of them were dragging and touching the ground). Was very resistant in offering help and/or speaking to a manager. Really seemed like she hated her life or job. Said she would ask a manager with attitude. Came back and said "no, they're final sale and it's not our issue they're dirty"..... It's not their issue? They placed them on a low standing rounder rack that dragged them across the floor.... Not the customers.. And they're white jeans? That makes complete sense.... Worst customer service. read more

They had a really cute dress on display and they didn't have anymore sizes so I asked an employee if she could check the tag on the mannequin for the size. She checked it and when I asked if I could buy it she said no--then why bother checking the tag in the first place? I honestly think she was too lazy to take the mannequin down but THANKS you just lost a perfectly good sale. Horrible customer service, the employees don't bother to greet you at the door, when you ask for help they roll their eyes, policies are horrible. I avoid it when I can. read more

Well, for starters, the store itself does have super cute, fashionable clothes. Prices are average, not cheap, but not super expensive, BUT, I would have to give the customer service the downfall of this store. The atmosphere is not super friendly and happy, which is disappointing because the store is so cute with so much nice things! Anyways, I spent about 80 dollars there, just to go all the way back home to find out the girl who assisted me didn't even take off the electronic buttons on 3 of my items!!! How???? So of course I had to go ALL the way back up there because I can't take off those metal detector thingy's at home obviously. And obviously I'm not going to wear clothes with those on them, looks extremely tacky and like I stole some items right? I go back, the woman helping me didnt really care that I had to come all the way back. She didnt give much of an apology, just a simple sorry and removed them.
