Came to Celebrate my Stepdad's 76th Bday. Our table was not ready at the time of our scheduled reservation. We were made to wait 15 extra mins despite having arrived 10 mins early. Cocktails were good. Appetizers were great! But it was downhill from there. Service timing was long and slow. The steaks we ordered were all the wrong temperature and unseasoned. The potatoes au gratin were bland. The bottles of wine were half off the night we were there so that was good. But overall my party was displeased and couldn't wait to go. My husband and I happen to stop by and were so amazed by the food and service here. We had oysters, colossal shrimp, crab cake and the lobster bisque. The lobster bisque had pieces of lobster and a beautiful puff pastry on top. It was heavenly! Our 4th or 5th time here, we hadn't been out for a nice meal in a while so we went on a Friday night and got reservations a few days ahead, we were seated promptly at our reservation time and got a wall booth, a great place to sit and watch the restaurant! Much prefer this seating over middle of the room. Nice ambiance, Clayton was our server and as always he was great. We shared some oysters a wedge salad and the New York with a couple of sides, it was plenty of food! Oysters were larger than I'm used to but they were good, the sauce needed horseradish though, it was very sweet...the wedge was delicious, real bacon bits( more like chunks) then our steak came, medium rare and cooked to perfection, we could have left out the sides but Clayton split the baked potato for us then added all the goodies...they must set it under the broiler for a couple minutes with the butter and cheese and bacon, then place the sour cream on it, so good and HUGE! We couldn't get dessert, we were just too full...so glad we shared, it made the meal more affordable but still got the great steakhouse feel! I treated my husband here this evening for his birthday. Top to bottom, one of the best dinner experiences since we can remember. Our waiter, Ken, was so knowledgeable and just the best......making our entire evening perfect and memorable. We both enjoyed the Thursday night steak + lobster special, Caesar salad prepared table-side to share and a bottle of wine. We had no room for dessert, unfortunately. Took my fiance here to celebrate our engagement. It was amazing! Yes the prices are high but you are well compensated with outstanding food and service. Oh gawd... this place is trying so hard to be an upscale restaurant, but it totally falls flat. The service was very slow and I often wondered if my server was on a break. I ordered the 8oz filet rare and it was not at all tender. My husband ordered the filet and lobster. He took one bite of it was said it was "awful". We let the server know about the lobster and they took it off of the bill, but honestly... we won't be back. The server brought out two wedge salads and when I said we ordered a regular hoise salad not 2 wedge salads she said this is a hoise salad. This has been our third visit to this restaurant and we are always impressed with the service and the food, We have tried the filet with lobster tail, the shrimp scampi, the caesar salad, the lobster bisque, and the delicious sides. We have been here numerous times and can honestly say we have never had a bad experience. The salmon is always a good dish to have. We've also had the sea bass, filet mignon, NY strip, ribeye as well as all the sides. The mushrooms, macaroni, and brussel sprouts compliment every dish. The seafood tower was fantastic. The cab legs were delicious and melted in our mouth. Great wine selection, great staff and awesome bread selection before the meal. We highly recommend having a nice dinner here. read more

I tried my best to like this place given that their service is amazing. The two stars goes for the amazing service however the food wasn't good. We practically ordered everything on the menu including the oyster Rockefeller. Let's start with the appetizers the lobster bisque was so runny and very fishy tasting. We are a big fan of lobster and seafood overall so we asked first before ordering and they recommended it. The oysters Rockefeller was overly dressed with salty bacon and the oysters were small and dry! I had one and that was it! Then we all ordered dry aged ribeyes- MEDIUM! Very disappointed, 1 seasonings were bland and the steaks were overcooked. We had better steaks grilled at home and at our local Steakhouse. The sides were cold, Brussel sprouts were burnt and gross! I love Brussel sprouts and this by far was the worst. The chicken parm was soggy with the skin on- rubbery chicken skin. My siblings were very disappointed because I chose this place- we don't mind paying for good quality food. Nearly a grand for 13 of us, we love food. Would we try this place again? We had to wait a few mins even though we had a reservation and the place was empty. Then we waited about 20 mins for bread, 2 cokes and a cocktail, another 30 mins for "cold appetizers" and over an hour, with empty drinks, for our entrees which when they finally came out were cold. We asked for a manager twice but only saw her once when we got our cold entrees and she was like "what do you want me to do?".... Although she did take all 3 entrees off our bill after we requested it. Our waiter came by our table a total of 4 times the entire time we were there which was just under 2 hours. I made a reservation for our wedding anniversary which is on New Years Eve. I made this reservation last week only to be called at 6:30pm tonight, 12/27 to let me know they had to change our reservation from 6pm to 9pm or cancel our reservation altogether because they had another event going on at that time. It is now canceled. Who eats at 9pm? They said they forgot to block that time period. My guess is they got a last minute moneymaker ‍ reservation. Can get into Flemings at 4pm. Who eats that early? While some of the food is actually good ...there are many items to skip ; French onion soup being one of them. However all food quality is trumped by the terribly slow and lackadaisical service, most notably poor in the bar . I have given this place multiple tries and every visit is the same . Last time the manager wiped down glasses while multiple people waited in line to order a drink and the people able to sit at the counter hadn't even been greeted. The female bar tender has a terrible attitude and acts too good to be there ignoring the customers obvious attempts to get her attention. We've been here multiple times over the past 9 months or so, and it's always FUCKING ON POINT. We love the seafood tower, carpaccio, Martinis, port, etc. I mean, we've even tried the Caesar and Wedge salads. Delicious. After Reading the reviews I was skeptical as to whether or not to go to this restaurant. You see I'm one of those customers who's pet peeve is bad service! So when we arrived we gave them our name, mind you we arrived about 30 minutes early and oddly enough they sat us immediately, within three minutes of sitting down we were greeted by our server and asked to take our drink order. Shortly there after the bread came, and then our server arrived again to see if we wanted to order any appetizers, which we did, when the appetizers arrived which were crabcakes and the colossal shrimp they were exactly as described and absolutely delicious. We then ordered our entrées and sides which consisted of two fillets with lobster and one 18 ounce ribeye, and the shrimp scampi. All arrived at perfect temperatures and were again absolutely delicious. We finished our dinner with the butter cake and the decaf coffee which were both great actually the butter cake was one of the best I've had! So all in all it was a great experience and if you ever get an opportunity to go to Nineteen86 Steak House jump at the chance! read more

We had a guest in from out of town, so a great meal was in order. This place was awesome. Our server "Steve" from Washington was an incredible wealth of knowledge about their food offing's and wine selections. Our meals were cooked to perfection.
