Reservations were for 615pm. We got our food at 745pm. That's the best part of the experience. The shrimp was so rotten it would make the weak of stomach barf on site. That should of been a sign to leave, but we waited so long we were committed to hope. The food came out, all of our food was cold, the butter was cold too the baked potatoes it was not melting. How do you come out with a cold baked potato, 3 of them. There was 4 of us, we held our appetite thinking we are going to go have a 5 star dinner, this was not our first time here. In fact the first experience was great. The Wait staff admitted the chef was on his last week of service. The cold food was not edible, and we didn't want to complain and not pay. For myself and my gf the bill was $170 we tipped $40. The manager came out with her less than hear felt apology, the place was not that busy and she refused to go to the kitchen to smell the shrimp. I had dinner last night with two friends at this wonderful restaurant! Ken Le Blanc was our amazing waiter, and let me tell you, he will not leave you wanting for anything. He did an amazing job taking care of us and made the experience unforgettable. Now lets get to the food. OMG when I tell you the Lobster Bisque is the best I have ever had ANYWHERE in the world, I am not kidding. TRY IT, you will not be disappointed. Amazing food & service, if you want a high end steakhouse atmosphere without the price, this is it, I'd say this place is the best steak house in the west valley, followed by Arrowhead Grill, the only thing we ordered that I wouldn't recommend is the Brussel sprouts , we sent them back, wish they had carrot cake as a dessert, our bill was 136.00 plus tip for two, I had one cocktail, the Filet medium rare was perfectly cooked & amazing taste. Several good things but a couple bad things. First, when we arrived, we stopped at the bar for drinks. My wife ordered a martini on the rocks. It was the worst pour ever. The bartender poured exactly one shot of vodka into a glass with one large ice cube. That was their version on a martini on the rocks. Ridiculous, right? We quickly bolted for our table. From here, the news gets better. The interior was elegant and reserved. Alex was our server and he was great. Funny, knowledgeable, prompt. We had a bread service and the bread was excellent. Several different types to choose from, too. We decided to split a wedge salad deconstructed. Although the portion wasn't generous, the flavor and presentation were great. We both loved the fried shallots as a garnish. I ordered the bone in dry aged strip while my wife had their tenderloin. Alex said to save room for dessert, so we opted to not have a side. The steaks came with mixed veggies with the star being a head of roasted garlic. Totally yummy. As to the steaks themselves, my wife's was cooked to her doneness and she said it was super tender. Mine on the other hand wasn't so good. While it was cooked correctly to medium rare, it was mighty tough. Any decent dry aged strip should be more tender than mine was. We then split an order of butter cake. Oh, was it good. Probable the best butter cake we've ever had. Didn't know what to expect from a steakhouse in an AZ Casino but I was pleasantly surprised. They make your Caesar salad sauce fresh à la carte, I can't say enough about our waitress, she was incredible. She actually made dining at the location half the experience. From the huge shrimp in the shrimp scampi, to the dry aged 33 oz Porter house steak. Everything was delicious. They even have fresh bread from their bakery. It's about $100 a plate depending on what you choose to eat but it was worth every penny and I would definitely recommend and be back. I wish they knew how incredible the waitress was. She was funny, informative, and very accommodating. This was a great place. Tips: the salad can be shared by 2x people so not to ruin you appetite as can most of the sides. On a whim my sister and I decided to go out for a nicer dinner last night. This place is pretty close to where we live and we were able to get reservations for dinner at 6:30. Service: I would have given this place 4, maybe 5 stars but the service we had lacked what you would expect, especially for a steakhouse. We ordered a bottle of wine and it took 22, yes TWENTY TWO minutes for us to get our bottle of wine. Then it wasn't chilled, we put ice in our wine but he wanted us to wait longer...we said no we've waited 22 minutes already. We also asked for some condiments and another server was able to get it for us quicker than our own. Devonte was amazing, it's why I gave this an extra star than I would have if I was basing this solely on our server. Food: Steak I would say was average for a filet. I'd say save yourself 10 bucks and go to Firebirds. I thought my steak was a little dry, just not what you expect for a 40.00 filet. The Brussel Sprouts were phenomenal, they nailed those. Mac N Cheese was good, flavorful but could have used some more sauce. They serve you a braised beef on a bagel chip with Gouda if I remember it all and that beef was better than the filet however it's not something they have on the menu (well they have a pasta dish with the beef but you can't order just the beef). Also for your bread choice the Jalapeño Cheddar roll is the way to go. Ambiance: beautiful restaurant, simple but elegant decor, overall it is what you would expect for a steakhouse. However, if you get seated at a table the chairs, while pretty they are extremely uncomfortable. They are odd chairs and I don't know how to explain it well other than you feel like your 3ft away from the table but you can't push them in because the legs hit the table. We went here in November 2021 and had the most amazing meal with impeccable service. Went back Thursday. Not even close to last year. Ordered the lobster/filet special. When meal was served our steak was cold and overcooked and lobster was cold. We have never eaten anywhere where we have had to send a meal back. Second meal was served fairly quickly but was very substandard. All in all not a great experience. Service was very good but we will not return. Very disappointed. Husband and I went here for our 10 year anniversary. We decided to go somewhere classy because we have never done that before and wanted to have a special day. It was very special and delicious! Our server Ken was so informative since it was our first time at a place like this. He made our experience so special. Is it pricy yes but the food is worth it and we were informed that the chef that was cooking for us was on Chopped and Beat Bobby Flay that was amazing info to know since we are big fans of Bobby Flay and Gordon Ramsay. My husband had the burger he said it melted in your mouth. I had the New York steak and it had so much flavor and was cooked beautifully. The ambiance was so romantic and perfect for our special occasion. Then since it was our anniversary they gave us dessert on the house and the brûlée cheesecake that we took home because we just couldn't eat another bite it was sooooo yummy. I have been to many steak houses in my life. I probably eat out at a nice one every 4 to 5 months like Steak 44, Maestro's City Grill, and Arrowhead Grill when my National Sales Manager comes to town. The service was good and the staff was friendly. Our waiter did a great job. I ordered the 22 oz aged ribeye medium. It came seared good on the outside, but really red on the inside. I should have probably sent it back to cook more, but it was a lot longer than normal wait, and I was really hungry. It was very tough and not as flavorful as other nice steakhouses. The Mac and cheese was probably the worst I ever had at a steakhouse. The garlic shrimp appetizer was overcooked, but the sauce it was in was magnificent. Overall, it's better than Applebee's , but I have better meals at Lone Star Steak House for a lot less money. I will never go back. One and done! read more

Our second time celebrating our anniversary here. Our previous visit, we thought the meal was very good, and good value with their Thursday night special (filet and lobster tail). This special drew us back to the dining room. This time around, dishes were overly salted to the point that my Wife mentioned it to our server. He returned with another lobster tail which was a good response to the comment. I asked him when good days were to dine there and his response was Wednesdays before 7 pm. We may give it another try in the future. I don't know if it is the restaurant's policy, but we were offered a complimentary dessert since I booked the table indicating it was our anniversary. First, Chef Laura's food was amazing. We had the charcuterie appetizer and steaks for dinner. The ambiance was modern elegant and felt high end. The service was good in that it was delivered in a timely manner and cooked as requested. The only thing that didn't fit was the waitress who was trying too hard to be funny or entertaining. We were out for a romantic dinner and the constant jokes and interruptions were unnecessary. Our visit on 6/30/2022 was just average. Starting with the basics, the restaurant is easily accessible through the casino. Parking is readily available int he parking garage a short away or you can valet at the main casino door as well. The restaurant has a nice modern vibe to it. We enjoyed some great craft cocktails prior to our meal including a smoked Manhattan which was delicious. The food was good but given prices at a typical steakhouse I thought it could be better. Our dishes were just average. I had the onion soup and the bone in filet. Like I said, they were good but nothing to write home about. Our server, Brad, was fantastic. He was knowledgeable, helpful and engaging. The back of the house though seemed to have some challenges though with the cadence of the meal. We were there early on a Thursday night and the restaurant was not that crowded yet the time it took to get our drinks was longer than I would expect and then our appetizers took a while to come as well. Then there was close to a 45 minute pause for our entrees to arrive. The sad news is that of our 6 meals, two were incorrect and two of the sides were incorrect. Surprisingly, though it took 45 minutes to deliver the wrong meals, they were able to deliver the correct meals in just an additional 4 or 5 minutes. :) In summary, nice restaurant, good waiter, average food, some operational issues. Doesn't rank high on the quality of food versus price scale in my opinion. Given the number of steakhouses in Phoenix area, I doubt I would go back here any time soon if at all. read more

The banana flambé was not good at all , eat too much liquor and the prices are way too high for food that's not quality !! We came here for a 18th birthday party. The severs did a great job. One of the guests in our party never been to such a nice place. The server did a great job and made him relaxed. A friend invited me out to her birthday dinner to this restaurant I haven't been to or heard of. (I do live pretty far so that could be why) What a super nice restaurant! The staff was unbelievably nice and accommodating to us and any of our needs. Making sure our drinks were topped off and if we needed anything more. The atmosphere was fancy and beautiful yet you didn't have to be dressed to the top to eat there. I wore jeans but a nice top. The food, beyond amazing! The only thing none of us cared for was the Caesar salad. Absolutely no flavor to it. They're supposed to make it table side which I was excited for but they asked if making it in the kitchen was ok. We said yes since it seemed like too much to do at the table side. However we wish we would of as the people near us had it made table side and the experience looked cool and maybe they had more flavorful salads after seeing all the ingredients to make it. Ours, zero flavor just lettuce. But everything else was to the tens with flavor. I would definitely recommend this restaurant as a nice treat to yourself or to someone special. Overall the price made this a "never again" event. We, group of 3 couples, were excited to come and try this steakhouse. We've been talking about it for weeks or longer....so our enthusiasm was there! 1. Service was ok. One in our party NEVER got her dinner. By the time they noticed, she just cancelled it. We sat there waiting and letting our food get cold so as not to be rude. Our waiter didn't come back for a few minutes. We told the server, gentleman that brought the food, and he never returned. We all gave a portion of ours for her to eat! WRONG!!!! Yes, they gave us a piece of chocolate cake, but really? Messed up someone's dinner....and the rest of us too....sharing is nice, but odd for a nice meal. 2. The drinks were decent! I'd say the best thing was fair, not cheap, whiskey pricing. Only reason for a potential return.... 3. The food was....not great. The charcuterie board was OFF. It wasn't balance from protein, crackers and cheese. Made it weird to share! Normally, the items are balance by numbers for sharing and tasting....so OFF. 3 pieces of toast for a full board. No where near enough for just the cheese alone. The steaks were ALL overcooked by one level. The mashed potatoes were flavorless and horrible presentation! Green beans - dry. Nothing....sorry...not a thing was Great! 4. Cost was HORRIBLE. There were 6 of us (5 had dinner, see #1 above) and we (tried to) share a charcuterie board and salads.... It was $800 and the taste/value wasn't near that amount. 5. Among the worst restaurants I've ever been fortunate enough to visit. Female bartender was absolutely rude, slow and unfriendly. Our drinks were so watered down they should be embarrassed. Dining experience was worse (which is shocking). Wrong drink served. Wrong soup served. Lengthy wait time for each course and you'd expect the meal to be fresh and hot when served. Filet was COLD. Bearnaise sauce was cold. First lobster was mush. Replacement Lobster was so undercooked it wasn't edible. Not to mention waiting over 5 minutes for butter for the lobster. It took 15 minutes to receive table salt. Unfortunately the duty manager only confirmed why the restaurant was so horrible. We had a private room where she stuck her head in TWICE but neither time asked how our experience was. I finally sought her out and it didn't get much better. She is not equipped with the skills necessary to run a "fine dining" restaurant. We definitely won't return and if asked I would deter anyone from wasting a single dollar there. Where to start...I really wanted this review to be better. But then again, I was really hoping for a better experience. High prices, high expectations. We had a reservation and were quickly seated. The server took our drink order, I chose a beer. 5 minutes later the manager shows up to apologize, they didn't have my selection (which was on a digital menu, not sure why it was still being offered). I chose another, waited 5 minutes for the manager to return to tell me they didn't that one either. I settled for an IPA that I could have readily chose at any gas station mini mart (manager did comp it though). On to appetizers, we chose oysters which were beautifully presented (wish I had gotten a picture) and very good. Our company chose crab cakes and really were underwhelmed by them. We then had a table side made Caesar salad. I highly recommend passing on this. It was soggy, almost room temperature, very very forgettable. Main course, 3 steaks were ordered, 2 bone-in fillets, 1 bone-in ribeye. Everyone liked them ok but again, no one was wowed. I had the sea bass. Out of everything I think it was the best we were served. A couple of things that led to this rating: 1) Almost every server that walked by our table managed to bump into my chair. At first it was surprising but quickly became annoying (not 1 apology by the way) 2) When it was time to pay the bill we split it with our friends. 1/2 was cash, the rest on a card. When the bill came back for signature, whoever counted the cash somehow missed a $100 bill which was now added to my card. The manager corrected the issue quickly but this was not a small mistake. It was about a 15 min walk from the residence inn/Fairfield inn/holiday inn corridor. We showed up about an hour early and asked to sit in the bar area while we waited for our reservation. They have some good cocktails that we enjoyed at a high top table in the front room. My Manhattan was very tasty. My wife had a lemon drop martini that she enjoyed as well. Once it was time to eat we went to work. We started with the crab cake and Caesar salad. The crab cake was amazing--especially the sauce the cake sits on top of. The salad was made from scratch at our table--the guy even cut up the anchovies and everything. Then we really went for it. My wife ordered the shrimp scampi tagliatelle which had the best scampi cause either of us had ever tasted. It had roasted tomatoes which really enhanced the flavor. I had the dry aged bone in rib-eye, Oscar style. Normally when I get this at places they use Dungeness crab, but here they use king crab. It was one of the best steaks I've ever had. It. Was. Amazing. Somehow we still had room for dessert. We got the cheesecake/crème brûlée duo, which is crème brûlée on top of cheesecake. It's cylindrical in shape. The flavor was awesome--very tropical but went well with the flavors of both desserts well. The food is not cheap, so as long as you're ready for that you will not be disappointed. Wow! I'm so glad we tried Nineteen 86. I read great reviews and wanted to try it. Based on the reviews I had high expectations, and they were still exceeded. My wife and I had dinner last night for our 38th wedding anniversary. Reservations using Open Table was smooth and quick. It's part of Diamond Desert Casino, so we parked and walked through the casino and followed the signs. We don't gamble and we're amazed at all the folks at the slot machines. It was a happening place! The atmosphere and furnishings are impressive. We arrived early to have a drink at the bar, and it is a very nice bar with great help and generous drinks. Very professional hostess brought us to our table. Water was poured for us, and a bread basket brought to our table for us to make a selection from their many options. Our server was Alejandro and he was exceptional. He took our drink orders (Old Fashioned and a Moscow Mule). We split a Heirloom Tomato and Mozzarella Salad as an appetizer. She ordered a Filet with a loaded baked potato, I ordered a filet, mashed potatoes and sautéed mushrooms. The steak comes on a plate by itself and the sides are delivered family style with enough to each be shared by 2-3 people. We ended bringing home the entire baked potato and half the mushrooms. Midway through the meal we renewed our cocktails. Alejandro informed us that management would like to offer a dessert to us for our anniversary celebration. We chose the Chocolate Decadence, a layered cake, ganache, served with vanilla ice cream and warm chocolate sauce. We ate the ice cream and brought the cake home. We've dined at Ruth's Chris, Morton's, Fleming's, Durant's and other wonderful steakhouses, and we both feel this is on par with the best we've had. The appetizer, filets, side dishes and dessert were all so delicious, we wouldn't have changed a thing. Next time maybe we will show some restraint on the side dishes. The service was impeccable and our drink order was taken and brought out right away, along with an amuse bouche. My son and nephew split a 16oz, New York steak, my husband ordered the 12 oz bone-in filet, and I ordered the Chilean sea bass. The table ordered a few slides to share, including mashed potatoes, macaroni and cheese, and truffle fries. My son's steak was charred and completely unseasoned. My husband's steak and Caesar salad (also $14 for a salad is crazy!) was also completely unseasoned. My husband is not one to salt/pepper most foods but he was forced to season both. My seabass was unrecognizable, it was super fluffy, watery and had absolutely no flavor. I took home the leftovers because I had spent $50 on it but tossed it the next day. Our sides might have been the best part of the meal, the fries and macaroni and cheese being the best of the three. Our cocktails were also good (we recommend the old fashion) but at $12 each we really limited our intake. Again, the private room and service were incredible, but I have had a better meal at sad little chain steakhouses. This was well over $700 and other than my mother-in-law and sister-in-law liking their fish, no one else enjoyed their meals. I will not be back. read more
