It was a birthday dinner, there was about twenty people in our party. From the time we entered the building until the moment we left the staff was friendly, engaging, and energetic. Everyone sang "Happy Birthday" that night. I ordered medium rare Beef Teriyaki noodles glazed in a soy based sauce prepared on display at the Mongolian Grill. The grilling was so entertaining. The fire was high and my steak was tender. The food was great. The drinks, the drinks, ooooohhhh those drinks. I barely remember the name of the drink. I think it was called the bowl, yes like a fish bowl. Vodka, coconut, pineapple, and fire. The fishbowl was on fire. Great night. Get a drink. Treat yourself.

Currently there is an automatic 20% gratuity on the entire bill for the hibachi side. 10 % to the grilled and 10% to the server. The food was good. We went during lunch and took advantage of the lunch special. Our bill still came to 80. lol Although the hibachi dinner for 2 is like 50 bucks. lol

I have always and will always love this place. The staff here are so friendly and always make sure you get seated reasonably fast. We always come here for birthdays or any special occasion because it is delicious! I highly recommend this restaurant, you will leave feeling full and with a bag of leftovers for tomorrow.

Ninja remains a favorite, even as neighboring businesses in the shopping center have come and gone. I am glad to see this local gem continue to thrive. The hibachi experience here is always a highlight. The chefs are not only skilled but also entertaining, turning each meal into a delightful show. The atmosphere is welcoming, and the staff strives to provide attentive service, enhancing the overall dining experience.

This place is just your average hibachi. As others have said not allowing reservations is a huge challenge as I feel all Japanese Steakhouses can get very busy. We opted to come early to beat the Friday night rush, but it definitely started filling quickly. The soup here isn't very umami-rich, instead is rather bland. I also don't care for the salad dressing - to me it tastes more mayo based. It's not ginger or sesame. The hibachi itself is fair, nothing is wrong with it, but it's also not the best I've ever had. They won't seat you until your whole party has arrived, but there is a bar you can wait at & a small seating area as well.

The food is absolutely delicious! One of the few places in the area that actually puts eel sauce ON the rolls. I love that!!! The service for pick up is always fast and fresh. I haven't come in to dine, but the ambiance seems great for a night out or special occasions. This is my go-to spot for sushi regularly so I will be back!

Service and food was amazing!! I have found my new favorite place since moving here!!! Yummy!!

This is one of the best Japanese Steakhouses that is in this part of the Hampton Roads. Food is great. Chef was great. Staff is nice and very attentive. I highly recommend this place.

Let me start off by saying this review is based solely on my opinion and my opinion alone!. So they are now open for indoor dining, but you still have to wear a mask whether you're fully vaccinated or not! My wife and I order a dinner for two at the Mongolian grill, the lady takes our order and brings out a salad for us. My wife noticed something weird in her salad and puts in on the table to show me,it was something of weird texture and we couldn't figure out what it was. See photo below and/or in the pictures! This is not a deal breaker because I will be back because the food is delicious!..

We have been going here for years and it's stayed pretty consistent taste wise. One thing I do not like is that that make you choose from a salad or soup, when they previously didn't do that. I think for the price, both should be included. The food is pretty flavorful and they often cook your steak the right way. Parking is also good!

This is a nice clean and good restaurant to visit for lunch or dinner. Nubia is great bar tender who's very attentive and spot on when it comes to taking orders, mixing drinks and exhibit good customer service. I'm always pleased when I visit. It would be ideal to offer an happy hour people would be more willing to come frequently for a good discount drink/cocktail!

If I would've known it was AYCE, I probably would've chosen another sushi spot. Because we were already there, we decided to try it out. We were seated right away and given menus. For about $30, you could order anything off the menu between 3-9pm, which is a great price. Most of the Sushi Rolls were either fried or included imitation crab or cream cheese, which I'm not a huge fan of in my sushi, so I tried to find rolls that didn't have any of those things, which was a challenge. I decided on the Rainbow Roll & Greenbrier Roll with Yellowtail and Salmon Sashimi. The Sashimi was very fresh, I thoroughly enjoyed it. The Sushi Rolls were okay. They would've been 10x better without the imitation crab. We also tried the Beef Short Ribs but they didn't wow me. Overall, we made the best of our time there. I loved the decor and they played really nice music. I gave 4 Stars because you definitely can't beat the price, the Sushi was fresh and the staff were very nice but I probably won't be returning. If you love imitation crab in your sushi, this spot is definitely the place for you lol!

The cooks are pretty much uniformed while there is some more interactive than others which is fine especially when I come and I'm hungry I don't like a lot of playing here and there especially when it comes to the rice give me all the rice ASAP:) This is a decent spot if you like Hibachi I believe they have sushi as well that's made fresh. My only side... When you walk in you smell an overwhelming scent of grease/oil in the air. I don't know if it's from the carpet that should be replaced or removed or a better ventilation system is necessary but if you can get past the smell then you should have a great experience. The food is good and you do get a lot! Our last visit we definitely had food to bring home so no complaints there. When the dish came out, it was basically a 50/50 split of salmon and tuna. Most other restaurants usually include more variety in their sashimi deluxe, such as shrimp, yellowtail, tilapia, or even krab, even with a substitution, so I was already a little disappointed. Overall the tuna looked quite gray in color, and the salmon was noticeably dry. Definitely not the quality I expected for the price. What really upset me was the bill at the end. The menu listed the sashimi deluxe at $25, but my check showed $33. I politely pointed this out to the waitress, and she said she would speak with the manager. When the manager came over, I was told that the waitress was new and that there is an extra charge for substitutions. The problem is that neither the waitress nor I was informed about this beforehand. What made the experience worse was the manager's attitude. She came across as rude and completely unconcerned when I explained why I was frustrated. I understand businesses have policies, but customers should be informed about additional charges before ordering, not surprised when the check arrives. I'm sharing this review so future customers are aware to ask questions about possible hidden or unexpected charges before ordering. Also, I just want to make a note that I have been coming to Nana, since Panera Bread was still next door, so this change in food quality, prices, and service is very disappointing.
